  • Provides email addresses for most individuals that are correct.
  • Provides phone numbers for most individuals that are 50% or better correct.
  • Helps to identify diversity groups, such as female candidate.
  • SeekOut needs better updates to the backend repository, LI. Several times, when pulled through, SeekOut pulled up LI profiles that were not up to date compared to when searched on LI directly.
  • It would be helpful to have better/more updated phone information. As noted in the previous screen, approx. 50% of phone contact information is spot-on, however capturing more up to date information for phone would be helpful.
  • Although picky, having different colors for screens to highlight areas would be helpful. Working late at night, which many times do, the screens are similar in color and brightness, and it would be beneficial to have more distinguishment in colors or brightness so as not to blend.
The best help SeekOut has been for my team, and I is its ability to garner phone and email data information and delineate diverse populations. Since it uses LI as a backend database, as long as the link is kept updated with Seekout/LI, it is a good tool to garner the above information and more speedily develop a pipeline of specific candidates.

SeekOut is the primary go to for all our searches. It readily recommends warm leads that are previous applicants matching the search criteria. Re-engaging with this talent is easier and has helped us make fast hires.

I find SeekOut very well suited for sourcing in general. It is also very beneficial for targeted sourcing as you can really narrow down the criteria. As for casting a "wide net", SeekOut can be beneficial if can be smart about the search string used.

SeekOut is an easy to use platform that helps me source candidates in a new and different way. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, I use SeekOut to source for difficult to fill roles, and to build passive talent pools (for difficult to fill roles). While other tools and job boards can be used for current job openings, Seekout is a quick way to find candidates who possess sought after skills, and to keep those candidates engaged directly. SeekOut helps to form relationships with prospective candidates even before they are job searching!

You can get the necessary information of candidates such as skills, qualifications and achievement. Worldwide access is available. It saves your time by avoiding scrolling through every candidate's profile.

I use SeekOut to search and find diverse candidates. Create campaigns and message prospects on career opportunities that fit their career profile with the intent of progressing to the interview stages with the hiring manager to offer stages. The issue I run into is that I believe the messaging platform SeekOut uses could be more user-friendly. Something that is more tech-friendly, like a message by phone.

Seekout is a great tool with useful analytics for any TA org. The search results it provides for candidates outside of the US are not as good as on other tools, this is a downside when it comes to volume hiring where you need large numbers of candidates to contact.

We use SeekOut as a sourcing platform for technical candidate searches. It solves the issue of not having potential contact information that you would not have access to if only using LinkedIn. I personally use SeekOut first when conducting my search for talent, because it also provides some profiles that may not have populated on other platforms. The boolean search window, power filters, and ability to search based on certifications is extremely helpful. Also the ability to "clone" a profile and have insight and data on where candidates of a particular industry have worked previously, so you can target other individuals working for a specific company with the same skills. Recommendations would be to add an "open to work/actively looking" tab if possible, but overall thumbs up!

Where ZipRecruiter is great for mostly non-technical profiles with confirmed contact information- SeekOut would be the next best thing for the technical side of recruiting. It does give you the chance for contact information. Sometimes that information is good, and sometimes it's not. When contact information is old or stale, going to their LinkedIn profile to send a connection invite and message through Linkedin Recruiter would be the next step regardless, but is as easy as just one click on their name.

SeekOut was used to enhance the search for Linkedin Recruiter even more as SeekOut has offered better filters and search criteria. It is more effective than Linkedin Recruiter as it let us search and specify the target easier that made us possible to increase the quality of long list and short list that we create. Also it was useful that we could search for candidate's email address and phone number with just one click.

Currently I am using SeekOut for our sales roles. I don't have a good response rate from candidates I reach out, a lot of times the emails get bounced as well. I tried the phone number feature as well and did not have much luck with that.

We have a lot of turnover with entry level health care position such as CNAs & Home Health Aides. I look in SeekOut to find dedicated candidates who are truly seeking employment. Since there is a lot of turnover, it is helpful to be able to reach multiple candidates at once.

I use SeekOut as a sourcing tool and extension of LinkedIn. Profiles on SeekOut contain several types of contact information, including email addresses and public profiles that give Recruiters more channels for reaching candidates. Searches on SeekOut provide relevant candidates that are sorted based on relevance to the boolean phrases and filters that Recruiters use. It also provides me with market insights that I am able to share with hiring leaders so that they are better informed about my recruitment activity. SeekOut has enhanced my outreach to DEI candidates in particular and enables me to provide an inclusive batch of candidates for every job position.

SeekOut is my primary tool for recruiting and building candidate pipelines. It is the best tool on the marketing and is easy to use. In comparison to other products the return on searches is much better on return on the right candidates for the roles. In my current company, I am a super user of the product and highly recommend it. It's boolean capabilities and the services provided to educate its users is far better than its competition.

We use SeekOut daily for sourcing new candidates all over the world and for all business sectors. SeekOut is especially helpful with our Diversity and Inclusion focused sourcing, as it allows us to filter by demographics and give much needed focus to under represented groups that have the same skillsets we are looking for.

The interface is good, however, it needs a more streamlined setup in order to speed along the process. Often the LinkedIn information for the candidates is a few months behind, so when I finally click on their profile I learn that they've already started at a new job even thought heir SeekOut profile says otherwise. Other than that I think the benefits certainly win out and it has helped contribute to my last several hires, all of which were from under represented groups.

In my organization, we use SeekUut for a variety of purposes. We use it to actively source and engage with talent, but also use it for market mapping and to gather analysis around the demographics of the people in these roles. Because it's so easy to customize, SeekOut solves the issue of the difficulty of gathering data around very niche roles and skillsets.

SeekOut is a valuable sourcing tool to identify candidate information for hard to find candidates in recruiting. As a University Recruiter in the tech field, talent can be harder and harder to come by. With SeekOut I am able to identify and sort through hundreds of qualified candidate profiles and find the best social media links. Having personal email addresses and phone numbers in a crowded market where our inboxes get inundated makes all the difference. It was a no-brainer to utilize this product for sourcing.

Early talent specific filters are still a work in progress for the organization and still lag behind some specific product offerings from companies like Handshake and the like that operate solely in this market.

SeekOut allows me to view candidate profiles and candidate engagement in one central place. SeekOut also allows me to filter and search for candidates both within my applicant tracking system and outside of it. This allows me to leverage candidate data and re-engage quality talent that has already interacted with our company brand previously and has a higher chance of interest and of meeting our hiring bar.

We use SeekOut in conjunction with LinkedIn to approach candidates in multiple ways. We typically start our seach in LinkedIn, first identifying candidates and sending a message in LinkedIn. We then export the LinkedIn profiles to SeekOut, using SeekOut's capability to obtain email addresses and phone numbers, to reach candidates in these ways. We'll often start with LinkedIn, then export to SeekOut, and after obtaining email addresses and phone numbers, export to Lever (our ATS), to send email messages from Lever, then possible texts and/or phone calls. Using SeekOut in this is very effective in reaching candidates and gives us access to candidates that we wouldn't ordinarily have using just LinkedIn. We sometimes start our search with SeekOut, and it offers capabilities (such as radius/geo search) that LinkedIn doesn't, but we're used to LinkedIn and more comfortable using it. We're still getting used to SeekOut and will probably use it more exclusively as we gain experience.
  • Provides accurate email addresses: SeekOut provides accurate email addresses and allows for direct and fast email follow-up with candidates.
  • Provides phone numbers: SeekOut does provide phone numbers but sometimes there are too many and you're not sure which to use and sometimes they are not current or accurate.
  • Allows for locating candidates in a specific radius from a specific city: SeekOut provides the ability to target candidates within a geographic radius of the role and it can be very helpful in finding local candidates within commuting distance.
  • I took the class recently and it was very helpful. Some of the commands require experimentation, so still working on them.
  • SeekOut has tremendous capability to filter and search with Boolean commands. The more you use SeekOut the better you become at targeting just the kind of candidate you want to connect with.
Seekout is really helpful in being able to obtain email addresses and phone numbers so, that gives us the ability to reach candidates in alternate (and effective) ways.

Seekout allows us to source hard to find talent and gives us contact information for these candidates. In this competitive market having an email and/or a phone number has greatly increased our response rates. We can easily ingest the candidate information into our CRM and setup recurring email messages to them to engage them with our talent brand.

We use SeekOut for Recruiting Mental Health Therapists. I find it to be very easy to use, and I have been successful in filling positions in hard-to-fill locations. I would recommend it to any company looking for a sourcing tool to add to their recruitment strategy! I will continue to use SeekOut to build marketing campaigns and recruit for high-need positions.

We use SeekOut for sourcing and recruiting. It was a tool provided for the past three years. We recruit for the Air Force. My team had accounts with access to sources and to download potential candidate profiles. I used it daily. Most of the candidates sourced were candidates who had a security clearance.

For example, it can provide data about other organizations hiring for the same position. If you need a Cloud Engineer, you could use the Insights feature to find other companies seeking the same type of candidates.

I use SeekOut within my organization to source and hire candidates. We use this tool to find quality candidates and their contact information. With this information, we're able to reach out and have a conversation which starts the recruiting process.

I think SeekOut is hard to use. The filters are somewhat confusing and don't always seem to apply themselves. My biggest issue seems to be with SeekOut returning incorrect emails and phone numbers. Quite often, when I try to retrieve a phone number/email for a profile it will pull at least 10. It is unrealistic to try and call/ email all 10 of those numbers listed. Most of them are often incorrect.
