We used it for recruiting and staffing sourcing needs, mainly for engineering roles. We had a lot of openings at the Senior, Staff, and Principal Engineer levels that we needed to fill. We also started changing our scope of work from generalist engineers to specialist engineers, which required more sourcing methods.

It's well-suited for sourcing teams, but for full desk recruiters, it can improve, and I would love to see some more AI functionality, where candidates are preselected for certain roles. I use SeekOut to find IT engineers all over the globe, with varying degrees of seniority, and very different technical skill sets. I use both LinkedIn profile results and GitHub results. SeekOut is handy for its filters which help to source diversity.

SeekOut is well suited to organizations that do a lot of hiring, across many teams or team members. The folders and profiles can be shared with hiring managers so SeekOut does support collaboration very easily. Emailing capabilities, as well as the options to find the contact information of candidates, is very useful.

Our Product & Technology recruiting team uses SeekOut to source and contact niche technical talent. SeekOut helps our business quickly identify technical talent with diverse backgrounds. SeekOut has built confidence among our organization in that we know the level of candidate we are connecting with from the platform will provide our organization with the technical capacity to fulfill the pace at which our tech environment moves, but also the soft skills and values that our culture thrives on.
  • SeekOut highlights diverse talent well. I love that I can filter to view Women in Technology, for example.
  • The platform's UI is easy to use and the integration with LinkedIn is superb.
  • The ability to run messaging campaigns in a quick and easy format saves both time and effort.
  • I have seen duplicate candidates several times and wish that feature was tightened up to possibly 'turn off' a profile.
I would highly recommend SeekOut to any organization (large or small) that is seeking a platform that covers all their talent sourcing needs. SeekOut is excellent for filtering candidates by skill set or technical background and makes an effort to highlight diverse profiles. Because of this, we are able to contact a broader audience of candidates and find talent that aligns with our rigorous DEI goals and values. SeekOut also integrates with LinkedIn, making it simple to view a candidate's profile and gain a more holistic picture of their experience, career goals, and interests. From a messaging standpoint, SeekOut is excellent in providing our Recruiters with the tools to easily run email campaigns and further market our brand and job opportunities.

SeekOut was used to enhance the search for Linkedin Recruiter even more as SeekOut has offered better filters and search criteria. It is more effective than Linkedin Recruiter as it let us search and specify the target easier that made us possible to increase the quality of long list and short list that we create. Also it was useful that we could search for candidate's email address and phone number with just one click.

We use SeekOut for identifying diverse and underrepresented talent in North America. At Workday, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. SeekOut allows us to filter our search results by race, gender, veteran status, and more. When I initially started with Workday, I was a Diversity Sourcing Specialist. SeekOut allows me to find talent that may not always be on the first pages of LinkedIn. It also shows us candidates through GitHub which is useful when many candidates decline to use LinkedIn.

SeekOut was a tool we used to support sourcing efforts at our global technology company. The hope was that it would augment or supplement our sourcing efforts and give us an alternative to outreach via LinkedIn Recruiter.

We use SeekOut to find passive candidates for hard-to-fill positions in the tech industry. SeekOut's search functionality is superior to any other product I have used. It enables us to find candidates that we have been unable to find on traditional platforms. It also allows different users to share projects and collaborate on search efforts.

We use SeekOut t to find Engineering candidates with strong experience in backend distributed systems design and development. Typically we link this with our company emails and a Linkedin recruiter account. Messaging campaigns are either email or Linkedin. Email campaigns are the preference because LinkedIn integration is still very manual through SeekOut.

The integration of email messaging campaigns into the platform is very useful. However, SeekOut lacks a bit in terms of LinkedIn Recruiter integration functionality. Theres lots of work to be done on that.

Very good to pull a larger pool of candidates that could be a match when their LinkedIn profiles are sparce and not very detailed. Often times provides extra context to a candidates viability when we don't have access to a resume. Search function works fairly well when trying to drill down via the people insights to grab a chunk of candidates at a time.

Our organization uses SeekOut to research candidate demographics in various markets, to identify qualified candidates for high priority roles, to identify candidates in underrepresented populations, and to determine the appropriate ways to contact candidates regarding opportunities that are suitable for their skill sets. SeekOut is particularly useful for identifying candidates with niche or in-demand technical skills who may or may not be represented in other recruiting tools.

SeekOut is well-suited for teams that are relatively technical and comfortable using sourcing tools. It is more appropriate for teams that are sourcing for complex or high priority roles, because teams that are looking to fill entry-level or volume roles can likely get by using job boards, LinkedIn, or other less sophisticated tools.

I use SeekOut to source diverse candidates for Product Managers, Product Designers, UX Researchers, UX Writers, and Service Designers. The SeekOut platform doesn't have a pipeline for the above mentioned job titles.

Best tool has useful features. The algorithms are good. We mainly focus for Diversity hiring, this tool is bit useful. Used for tech hiring, got some great outcomes. SeekOut has super filters with a limit of 5, it should increase. I use it for niche hiring most of the cases.

The ability to locate and track down top tech talent that have clearances. Seek out has been a huge help. Our overall experience with SeekOut is extremely positive. And their Customer Service is outstanding. My only other complaint is that sometimes profiles appear in searches claiming that they contain a specific mandatory keyword, when in fact upon opening the profile the keyword is nowhere to be found.

I use it to get contact info to Text, contact info to e-mail (mail merge), and also get contact info and have hiring managers reach out to candidates as needed. I use the data to share with teams to show where talent is/isn't, competitive companies, etc. We use the Clearances and feel this is the best part (power filters).

Seekout allows us to source hard to find talent and gives us contact information for these candidates. In this competitive market having an email and/or a phone number has greatly increased our response rates. We can easily ingest the candidate information into our CRM and setup recurring email messages to them to engage them with our talent brand.

Many bounce-back emails and not as many candidates as a LinkedIn search would. The search functionality and filters are not as user-friendly as it seems. I would use this as a complementary tool to LinkedIn and not use it as a primary sourcing tool.

SeekOut is an intuitive and easy-to-navigate sourcing tool that goes beyond what you'd be able to find using Linkedin Recruiter alone. I've even run the same boolean searches in SeekOut and Linkedin Recruiter and found that SeekOut actually pulled *more* candidates for my review. I also love the Insights feature, which allows me to share relevant data with my hiring managers.

  • When I click on a candidate in SeekOut, I would prefer the link to open the candidate in Linkedin Recruiter instead of just standard LinkedIn.
In the world of talent acquisition, I cannot think of any reasons to not use SeekOut. It's been great for technical sourcing, but I have not used it for sourcing within other industries, so I don't know how it might be different in that regard. For tech, it's perfect.

I usually get candidates' business emails that are not personal emails. Moreover, some emails are not updated as the candidate has already changed jobs but the system still shows the candidate's business email in their previous company. Besides, I did not get a good response from candidates when compared to Linkedin Recruiter, which candidates can look at my profile after I sent inbox message to them. Then, they may decide to be open to the job opportunity that I propose for them. Furthermore, in terms of candidates' telephone numbers, it is rarely shown in the system.

I use SeekOut to research, identify and headhunt from a global talent pool from across the top. Just the public profile talent pool has over 400 million candidates worldwide from all industries, but more specifically it's a deep well of information for the tech industry. Currently, in the mobility industry, we are facing a shortage of technical talent and SeekOut solves our ability to identify the right pool of candidates we would like to work with.

SeekOut is a fantastic tool! In a candidate market where potential employees are being flooded with messages, SeekOut provides tools and capabilities to help make candidate contact seamless and easy. The Boolean capabilities paired with their pre-designated power filters and their integrations with public-facing profiles enhance candidate identification and have helped me identify candidates I had not seen previously. These search capabilities paired with messaging campaigns (either to use a template or create my own) have helped tremendously with getting qualified candidates pushed over to our organization. In addition to the candidate outreach, the metrics and insights provided by SeekOut are helpful in using data as a story to provide updates to our internal hiring teams!

I have used SeekOut at previous employers so when approached at Abercrombie to recommend tools/products to help us out I did not hesitate to recommend SeekOut. SeekOut allows recruiters and sourcers at Salesforce to find talent and diversified talent in an efficient manner. I am able to use boolean searches to narrow down and find hidden gems. The look of the site is very easy to use and I understand where I'm going after each action.

SeekOut is my go-to platform to find diversified talent. With all the filters that I am able to use, I can find diversified candidates to show to hiring managers. We are using SeekOut as a diversity platform for sourcing. From my experience, the adoption of this platform has not been very successful - the platform is hard to get used to and feel comfortable within and find it is easier to go back on Linkedin Recruiter instead. Diverse talent is still an initiative we continue to focus on, but have not made any hires from this platform.

My company has purchased a SeekOut license and suit for all full-time employees, and I've been loving it to augment my talent sourcing in my day-to-day. Oftentimes it's easy to get bogged down and locked into a single tool like a Linkedin Recruiter, but SeekOut has been helping out greatly in complementing the efforts and coming up with a robust pipeline.

Sometimes it's hard for me to find personal contact info on other sites such as LinkedIn, so it has been a great resource for that as well. I can also access certain candidates that I may not be able to find elsewhere.
