I am transitioning a database of more than 20k contacts from Mailchimp to Brevo. Brevo is extremely user friendly. I rarely have to use the support because the documentation has everything and the steps detailed. But when I needed the support, I was able to call, which was answered straight away, and Adam answered all my questions with patience and recorded a video to help clarify my question. Based on the system alone, I was quite happy with Brevo, but the support was impressive. Highly recommend it.

Postal flyers are still used however becoming costly and not viewed as environmentley friendly.

  • only allows one contact across all groups, cannot repeat the same contact in mutiple groups.
  • have trouble locating block templates and finding them. not visible under the Templates directory. Have to navigate to find them
  • Mailouts - Have set up and receiving email as a redirection however still receive emails to my to my primary address.
For the purpose I use it for does a great job. Only marked and 8/10 that could be more a User educational gap rather than a fault with the package. With more use will discover more.

We are using the Brevo application for our email campaign of clients who have clicked on our previous outreach campaigns or past clients. The problem the Brevo product addresses is allowing us to accumulate our client lists from previous campaigns and sources into one source.
  • Allows to create a streamline email blast
  • Ease of importing database lists
  • Ease of organizing those lists and deleting duplications
  • Ability to print out those updated lists
  • I would like to see a larger ability to create/design the email campaign
  • Ability to manipulate an imported image with more options, either to enlarge or edit.
  • A way to allow short videos to begin playing versus having the recipient pressing a play button.
Brevo is great for email campaigns. Outside of maybe some design inabilities at this time that doesn't allow a broader capability to manipulate or edit imported images (which I assume will get better over time), Brevo is a strong recommendation for use of email campaigns.

I use Brevo as my email service. Brevo works for several purposes at the same time:
· Allows Email Automation's fast-paced learning
· Saves collaborators from creating HTML emails
· Makes data-filtering easier than most tools (audiences)
· Exceeds automation options than most tools we've used so far
· Integrates JS events, customer behavior, and specific scenarios to adapt meaningful touchpoints beyond the usual "visited XYZ URL or downloaded a specific resource". It allows combining triggers to qualify and score leads appropriately.
  • Fluid and intuitive inteface in all modules, which allows to complete tasks with zero stress levels.
  • Creating specific automation scenarios with multiple entry points. And it might seem trivial, but most marketing teams fail tagging MQL and SQL due to undetectable-complex customer journeys.
  • Sends notifications to the same record and to more than one recipient. It may pick recipients from field values. And also CC CCO messages to comma separated email addresses.
  • Get detailed reporting on mailservers reasons to bounce messages, from a modern, shareable report.
  • Allows flexibility when creating chatbots according to scenarios, all easy to modify and implement, triggered by events.
  • Chatbot reporting on automation stages to measure what specific options web visitors choose, and its correlation to timing and URL (section, product, or service). i.e. people tend to complain on more on Monday evenings in this URL order: 1, 2, 3.
  • Notification subject including the user account that imported, erased, exported, sent... who performed the action and the timestamp of task completion.
  • Dynamic SLAs for support, depending on the complexity of the ticket. If you could choose another language, or time zone with the purpose of accelerating the response, would be better. Today, a checkmark doesn't speed things up if you choose to receive support in a foreign language.
In terms of contacts count, helps you keep the blacklisted in your database, so there's no need to add a filtering process prior to mass imports. And I know it's silly to send mass emails to imported lists, but that's what's common in Latin America, yet Today.

If you have 10 or 10K contacts, costs don't differ if you don't send them campaigns.

I am a freelance digital consultant and I also build websites for many of my clients. It is very important that the forms on these websites are filled out and successfully emailed to the customers. This is why I use Brevo.
  • Successful forwarding of mails to the opposite addresses without falling into spam
  • Thanks to its very useful interface, I can easily meet the needs of many of my customers
  • Thanks to the fast support system, if there is a problem, I can easily overcome it.
  • I'm using the api service and the keys created here cannot be accessed again. It would be nice to have access again.
They have a very useful and free system, especially for the proper functioning of the contact forms of wordpress sites and the uninterrupted operation of mail systems. This is the most important feature for me.

We are a boutique hotel and have just started to use Brevo. We are hoping that having a communication app that can keep all guest correspondence, no matter the source (email/whatsapp/ fb messenger/instagram dm) will help us deliver a better guest experience in a way that is efficient.

To date, the support has been helpful whilst setting it up. It does seem to have a lot of features just need the time to explore, develop and create.

  • email support is quite good, but i would prefer to just pay and have a zoom to get over the line quicker
  • easy to link up fb, instagram etc... had no issues with integration
  • i think it has alot of features so i feel like i am not using it as much as it should as i dont know what I CAN DO with it
  • i wish there was like case studies for different industries so we can see how its applications - happy to be a sample if needed :)
  • i would go to a paid subscription if i was confident about what it can do for me but i am trailing it against other options to see what is good for me
i dont know as i have not been able to test all the features out

We are a nonprofit organization and it is very helpful for us to use a platform that is very easy to use and does not require us to have advanced skills in order to send good looking emails with good analytical options. Also it seems that the price-to-benefit ratio is really the best on the market for small organizations like ours at the time when I am writing this review.

We started using Brevo after other CRMs, we found Brevo really complete, including a lot of marketing features that add a lot of value. Especially I love the Conversation, that enable real time website visitors monitoring and chat.
The adoption is smooth, even if some features are not immediately clear and users may need to reach the customer support to clarify how to set up it.
Overall a good system that may boost the Leads Generation of small business.

In my organization, we use Brevo to maintain contact with users who interact with our website, mainly. Our automated account contains workflows that ensure daily delivery to the contacts of the databases that we obtain thanks to the interactions of said users. We also have an account where we manually create campaigns, which are sent taking into account the user experience, since we do not want to overwhelm their inbox. For my organization, the user comes first and in that sense, Brevo has turned out to be a great tool.

  • I couldn't change the font color of the user's mail in the unsubscribe section in the footer. When sending tests from the campaign, the user's email appeared in white (the background color of our footer is blue), but once the campaign was sent, the color of that email remained blue and was camouflaged with the color of the footer. I couldn't find a way to solve it. The solution was to eliminate the user's mail from the footer.
Brevo is a great tool for communicating with a large number of users. The report is very useful for generating strategies that seek to increase opening or conversion rates. It adapts very well to the strategy of each organization. It is very important to get a reliable user base, otherwise Brevo does not work optimally. If your user base is small, you won't be getting the full benefit of Brevo.

We mainly use Brevo for Email Campaigns to a engaged database. The ability to create Lists, segment the database to the nth degree, organise and review contacts is excellent.

The reporting data from an email send out is exceptional. The drill down detail is second to none, giving both an easy to read, quick overview and complex metrics that allow for a deep dive into the stats. In future, we may be interested in utilising additional elements available such as Conversations. Another benefit with Brevo is that you can select and pay for only those parts that are useful for your business, making it more cost effective and without being saddled with additional add ons that are of no benefit.

Interface wise, the app is easy to use with a low learning curve (particularly if you have had previous experience with, and in comparison to, other CRM or mail out systems).

In terms of cons, some functions could be labelled to make their purpose clearer and it may be better to have the option to add on other elements when selecting the different plans, so that one payment is made for all other elements you wish to use.

The Brevo user experience of mine is intuitive and engaging, with seamless navigation. I think the layout is well-organized, allowing users to easily locate desired information without feeling overwhelmed. From the homepage to individual pages, the content is presented in a visually very good interface, enhancing the overall browsing experience. The design elements are consistent across different pages, maintaining brand integrity and enhancing brand recognition. In terms of functionality, Brevo performs admirably, loading quickly and functioning smoothly across various devices and browsers. Interactive elements such as dropdown menus, search bars, and multimedia content enhance user engagement and interaction. Overall, I like Brevo very much for campaigning email marketing.

Brevo is a mature platform and has a very user-friendly interface. Their support system took some getting used to, but they're very reliable, and answered all my questions. I'm very pleased with them overall and I've seen a lot of other CRMs and ESPs who have problems because they're still new and trying to troubleshoot all the inevitable problems that come with this technology.

Some times we use it for campaigns. We need a simple but effective way to connect our database users with campaign lists without compromising our database. We love the way we can have different folders for each user and send specific campaigns or emails based on those properties.

We also like to track each user with notes, so if we have an special interaction, its interesting for us to take notes so we can give each user a more specialized attention.

I am not a fan of email marketing in general but the user friendly face of Brevo has changed my opinion and now we email with joy!

I recommend Brevo for its outstanding add ons and features, meaning you have a full service impression of your email campaigns performance

I like Brevo because it allows me to add images and links to my websites and other sources efficiently.

I use Brevo for email marketing so as to showcase our services and reach to potential customers. First plan allows 300 daily emails at no charge, basically free email marketing and in most cases they reach inbox.

Also allows me to see how different campaigns perform and find out which email subject or content works better. The analytics are a big plus - open rate and click rate are very important.

Unsubscribed recipients can easily be removed for a clean list.


  • Trackable open rate and click rate - very accurate
  • Customer support is quick and helpful
  • Reasonable pricing including free plan offer
  • I'd like to see Brevo have an email bounce checker - this can be offered at a cost
  • The email content sent from Brevo tends to look a bit different than emails sent from usual Gmail or other mailservers. Maybe that aspect can be improved.
  • Wish to see an option to remove all unsubscribers via one click, rather than visiting each contact list to remove them.
For starters and beginners I would highly recommend Brevo platform.

Reasonable pricing, and has an entire suite of services to help with marketing, sales and especially newsletters due to friendly interface for managing subscribers and campaigns.

I forgot to mention Brevo has its own mailserver that sends out the emails while replies can be sent directly to our original email. This way we don't have to suffer pesky restrictions from Gmail :)

In taringa! we start using Brevo for marketing campaigns, and all the email structure. Currently we have automations, transactionals and ou moderation system integrated in one email platform. Brevo also help us with our support channels, we have integrated in the same place email and WhatsApp conversations. This help us managing much better the experience for our clientes, and we love that we have metrics so we can analyze our growth and must common topics.

Best suited for all the email necessities, but it can be improved the dashboard for all the metrics. It would be awesome to have a builder dashboard. The landing page is not very well develop, it it not so friendly although it is a builder, but it is a good experience how easy and quick you can have a landing published. Another well suited scenario is the integration they made will all the conversations channels, although I had lots of problems doing it, it took us more less 2 month to have the integration, and a girl of our team was the one that solve it, not Brevo.

Brevo is the best and most value for the money within email marketing and CRM in the market. Great UI/UX and great support. I can really recommend companies the sign up, use and implement Brevo in your sales and marketing organisations as soon as you can. Five stars for Brevo.

Small and medium and even large companies selling services or e-commerce companies that want to improve their marketing, sales and analytics could really benefit from using and implementing Brevo in their daily processes and campaigns and really use the app to the fullest. Great for creating a good in-house structure.

We are in a startup, Letters We Never Sent, which is basically based on users submitting letters they never sent but have locked away in their minds for years. In doing so, we sought an email SMTP provider that could meet our needs without incredible overhead costs. After reviewing and trying a few, we settled on Brevo for our testing and implementation as it seemed to answer our needs.
  • They integrate with Jotform and Zapier (critical for us)
  • They integrate with WordPress - again critical
  • Support was a bit slow but did work to solve the problem
  • Support needs to be faster. They need 24/7 support for an SMTP provider.
  • Instructions on how to use with Jotform and Zapier could be much better.
  • WordPress Integration is clear, though integration with 3rd party WP plugins needs to be better.
This is our complaint and how it was solved:
A snafu took place when we had to validate our account via phone and text message. However, it seemed that no matter what, the text code never came through. I immediately contacted support via email, and they answered. The problem was solved within 2 days, and tbh, it was really on our side, not Brevo's.The only thing I was not happy about was that support took 12 hours to get back to us each time. I think their support should be 24X7. However, all in all it was a good experience. We continue to use them.

We used Brevo for transactional emails.

  • Scoped API keys
  • All links in transactional emails are automatically converted to tracking links which could not be disabled
  • Tracking system went offline and all links were unusable for a short time
We had serious privacy and security concerns regarding the obligatory tracking of links in our transactional emails. Brevo prides itself in being a European service and we chose it because we wanted to avoid unnecessary tracking. Converting all our links to tracking links is unacceptable in this regard. It was explained that this was necessary to prevent abuse of our account. Spam is a serious problem, but we believe there are other ways to prevent this, e.g. traffic alerts, spike detection, obligatory report link in footer and so on. Brevo was unwilling to deactivate these tracking links. So to protect the privacy of our customers, we‘re moving to another provider.

We use Brevo for client email campaigns and newsletters and the platform is very easy to use and reasonably priced. I like the level of detail and flexibility Brevo allows when designing emails and I find their contact management system to be intuitive and user-friendly. Although there are other popular email campaign service providers out there, Brevo has always been our go-to. They have many other services available, but for now my company uses Brevo almost exclusively for emails.
  • Flexibility in email design
  • Easy contact list management
  • Simple and intuitive platform
  • Support is excellent. Tickets raised are dealt with within 24 hours.
  • Can be over-zealous with blocking accounts and approving contact lists.
  • Have had a couple of payment issues (quickly resolved, but frustrating).
  • More scope for data and analysis would always be nice.
Brevo is an excellent email campaign platform. They have SMS services and other marketing tools, but so far my company hasn't used them. Whenever people ask for a recommendation for email services, I say Brevo, although there are a couple of areas where they could look to the competition to improve.

Email marketing - design and send.
We require a system that allows us to send marketing material out and also keep consistent branding guidelines.
Brevo makes it easy for untrained or inexperienced staff in the workforce to learn how to design and send EDMS if someone is off sick etc.

  • Maybe more integration with salesforce / propertybase
  • Text message marketing
  • More analytics (not bad, but more is better)
More appropriate - allows us to mass send and create EDMS
Less appropriate when we are doing cold reach outs, flyer emails, and the like.
There is also some issue we have where EDMs are not logged in our Property Base but again this might be a knowledge gap with us.
