Sendoso is currently being used in many capacities. We have our marketing team using it for large programs and events, our sales team using it for entry points and for deal velocity, our customer success team using it for renewals and life moments, and our customer advocacy team using it for rewards and surveys. As you can see, it solves many business issues--from breaking through the noise to get an initial meeting with a key account to retaining that customer after we partner with them.
  • Sendoso Direct--allows you to not deal with the sunk cost of inventory and try new things very quickly.
  • Integrations--Sendoso has made it easy to integrate with our current martech stack
  • Roadmap--constantly evolving to counter competition and marketing trends
  • Speed--the platform can be a bit slow at times
  • Training--once you have a large sales team using the tool, you become a part-time trainer most of the time; they have Sendoso University, but I find that sales does not want to dive into it
Sendoso is great if you have a sales team that is ready to adopt something like this to improve their prospecting and sales cycles.

There are so many reasons! First, the customer experience is phenomenal from the sales journey, to onboarding, to the customer success team, and the renewal process. I especially appreciate the insights and guidance I get from the team when I'm thinking about strategies to build. Sendoso has an amazing team who truly puts the customer in the center. For example, I value being part of the Sendoso SuperSender community. Leslie Barrett does an excellent job engaging the community and sharing best practices. It's also impressive that the CEO and Co-Founder, Kris Rudeegraap finds time to meet with each of the company's customers for an annual review. The company is constantly listening to its customers and shaping the product to meet its customers needs. Truly customer-first! Next, the platform is intuitive, easy to use, and the gifting options are limitless. I love it! Third, we are using Sendoso in innovative ways to drive account-based marketing and customer appreciation. Fourth, being a Sendoso customer and user is a joyful experience. I love knowing that when I use Sendoso I may be brightening a customer's day with a surprise treat and gift. With every send, you are sharing gratitude and appreciation and that's quite unique and fantastic in today's digital world. Keep doing what you are doing Sendoso! I'm a huge fan.

Sendoso is being used by our Sales team to bring back old opportunities in a personalized and fun approach that gets people excited! Our "win-back" campaigns have been pretty successful in bringing old/stale opportunities back in! We are also using Sendoso to increase webinar attendance by using the lunch eGift options! We all love a lunch and learn, especially when someone else is paying for lunch!

  • Bringing back old opportunities for the sales teams -> Using Sendoso direct or SWAG with a personalized note.
  • Internal incentives for sales reps -> Call blitz prizes from Sendoso direct increase participation and call volume = more opportunities.
  • Being able to integrate with other CRMs besides Salesforce.
  • Being able to add team views in the inventory section to divide regions/teams/sends.
Sendoso can be leveraged in so many different ways! I see this being used more by our Customer Marketing team to help with up-sell/cross-sell campaigns using eGifting or Sendoso direct. Customers love to get personalized and fun gifts sent to them!

I also see a huge opportunity for HR teams to leverage Sendoso. Employees love to be rewarded!

We use Sendoso as part of our post-sale customer success and engagement strategy. Sendoso helps to streamline how we send thoughtful gifts to our clients to engage them throughout the customer lifecycle. Previously, it was extremely time-consuming to coordinate and execute the physical and e-gift process, and we purchased Sendoso to help us accelerate the time to send gifts as well as improve the variety of gifts that we are able to send.

Sendoso is great for automating sends related to customer lifecycle moments. Sendoso is also great at coordinating one-off virtual and physical gifts. Due to price, Sendoso may not always be the most affordable option when it comes to customized sends/swag. Also, sometimes shipping costs are a little unpredictable which can make budgeting more complicated.

We're using Sendoso for several departments within the organization, primarily sales and customer engagement. It helps us connect with prospects in a digital way and surprise and delight our current customers.
  • Sendoso Direct Sends - it's great to have so many options available to send for various occasions.
  • SuperSenders Program - super engaging and is a great way to learn from other Sendoso users. The program is well organized and it's something I enjoy participating in.
  • Communication & Responsiveness - the Sendoso team does a great job of sharing updates and new vendors through their monthly newsletter, and they're quick to respond to questions and customer support requests.
  • More direct mail send options for EMEA.
  • The process of creating or editing a touchpoint could be streamlined/improved.
  • Add images to send options within the platform for reference.
  • Sends via Sendoso directly - it would be great if we could add our company name in the "from" title so that our customers don't think the email is spam.
Sendoso is an excellent sales and marketing tool especially in the time of COVID. We use e-gift cards to invite prospects or customers to coffee or lunch and use direct mail sends for various touchpoints throughout the customer's journey. We've also used it internally to treat our employees to lunch for lunch & learns, holiday celebrations, or other events.

We use Sendoso across the Marketing & Sales departments in EMEA at PagerDuty.

Current use case includes:
  • Shipping branded merchandise to customers.
  • Sending customers gifts.
  • Sending out vouchers/e-gifts (which we also use to send food-delivery vouchers for virtual events).
  • Automated gifting in Outreach templates to help BDRs book in meetings.
This has been particularly useful over the pandemic period as a way of interacting with customers when in-person events/meetings are not possible.
  • Diverse set of gifting options.
  • Technology integrations (e.g. Outreach & Salesforce).
  • Customer support.
  • Need to expand offering to cater to all countries in EMEA.
  • Improve address confirmation feature when sending via Amazon.
  • Make it easier to manage the account in multiple currencies.
Sendoso is very well suited to engaging with customers you/your sales team know. You can use it to send gifts they'd love from Amazon, a variety of egifts, and even charity donation vouchers (especially useful in navigating companies with a no-gifting policy).

I think it's less easy to use with prospects – especially while everyone is working at home and is less keen on sharing their personal address.

Sendoso is being used my our ABM Marketing Team and our entire field sales/support sales team. Sendoso helps us with our B2B direct mail marketing anything from egifts, physical mail and experiences. We currently use it in our out reach sequences as we build touch points into the plays for sales to leverage when they need to break a barrier with a contact or an MQL.
  • Sendoso is great an integrating with numerous existing technology that we already have in place. This makes it easy for us to add Sendoso into things that have already existed or implement it into technology that is newly purchased.
  • Sendoso is great at managing low inventory as it has automatic reminders set up to notify the managers when inventory is low and the platform even has the ability to automatically re-order items for you if you approve of it.
  • Sendoso is great as supporting their customers. As an evolving platform, Sendoso has there areas of improvement to work on, but they know it and their customer support team is never hesitant to help and responds in a timely manner.
  • The overall use of touches needs some work. If you want to alter one simple thing on a touch like what team has access, you have to go through all of the previous touch steps to make this switch as there is no way to proceed to further pages without clicking through the whole touch.
  • On the touches page, it doesn't show you when the last send date was which could be useful to know if a touch should be turned off or kept live.
Well suited: For B2B 1-1 campaigns where you are sending to a single person or a single company. This works well and can show sales the follow -up steps right inside of a platform like SFDC as it integrates very well.
Less appropriate: bulk sending when uploading a csv, things start to go haywire.

  • It is really user-friendly and easy to set up different touches and get campaigns out the door quickly.
  • Most of the integrations work really well and allow us to easily see how much we are spending on a campaign and what our return on investment is.
  • Their CSM and Support team is AMAZING! Always very helpful and supportive.
  • The Outreach integration could use some work, it's still a bit of a manual process.
  • You can't currently customize the address confirmation emails and that would be super helpful.
Sendoso is amazing for opening doors, booking meetings, create new sales opportunities, up-leveling, prospecting & delighting customers! We use Sendoso for everything now, anything physical that we want to get out the door we got through them and it's worked very well so far.

Currently it's being used across marketing (field marketing, customer marketing, demand generation, SDR team) within our sales org and within the Office of the CEO. Sendoso allows us to create scalable, repeatable direct mail programs across a variety of campaigns.
  • Easy to implement and deploy!
  • Works great in the virtual/COVID world. Home address verification works well.
  • Great selection of eGifts, Sendoso Choice gift cards and love the creativity and selection in the Sendoso Direct (perishable) options as well!
  • Easy to assign sales reps their own monthly budget for sends - and Sendoso easily tracks their monthly balance.
  • CSM/Project Manager Support is good.
  • We purchased Sendoso during the very beginning of COVID, so there was a bit of a rocky start as they were pivoting to roll out product features to support home address/work from home.
  • Early on in our engagement we were passed off to multiple CSMs - we felt a bit undervalued until things became more steady and reliable.
  • A bit out of their control - but during the height of COVID, warehouse processing times were long.
I purchased Sendoso twice and would do it again. Their product offering meets my high standards and the application is easy to use across teams.

Sendoso is leveraged across our entire GTM teams. On one side they can help with the "gifting" part of the direct mailer, on the other side they help with strategic experiences we want to create. They arm our go to market teams the ability to access an additional channel to our mix.

Sendoso is currently owned by the marketing department, though used broadly by the field marketing team for virtual event incentive fulfillment, one off gifting by customer success, internal incentive programs by product marketing, as well as broader campaigns through traditional marketing means. We use it mainly to help drive virtual event and webinar registration, and to help with live event drop off with various incentives.

Sendoso was very well suited when we first brought it into our marketing toolset, where we were able to take larger direct mail sends that we were manually doing, and automate them with Sendoso services, cutting down time spent around the manual activities on our side by around 80%. Sendoso has also been great for digital gift card sending, which has been very useful for us as well. Could be a bit better around options with helping to schedule meetings before the incentive is fulfilled.

Sendoso has been a great tool for our sales team, CSM, Marketing, and internal purposes. My office is quite small so we don't have much room to store all our branded items, so their warehouse has really saved the day and now we can keep more branded items in stock. It has taken a lot of manual work (packing, shipping, etc.) away from me which saves me hours of my time on a daily basis. I can't wait until we sign with our ABM platform to use Sendoso for our ABM Campaigns. Our Sales team loves it because it empowers them to choose the touches they want to use for their prospects without having to go through me to get a gift or an item out. They also LOVE the Amazon.com button feature so they can find very personalized gifts.

The CSM team uses it to send thank you gifts to our customers when they speak at our events and for reference calls. It's been a great tool to thank them in a fast and easy way.

Their customer service team has been a great asset to launch campaigns and they are very responsive.

We use it cross-functionally to support sales and marketing efforts to close business, delight our current clients and strengthen relationships and retention, and celebrate our team members internally. We were sending ad-hoc gifts across the board giving us almost zero visibility into the business impact. Sendoso streamlined our process and put numbers behind our efforts.
  • Customer Service: Whenever an issue pops up, they are very quick to solve with answers that a non-technical person can understand
  • Continuous Improvement: They are always adding new products and features that improve the experience.
  • There are some aspects to the user experience that are clunky.
I'd recommend this to anyone that has gifting/direct mail as part of their strategy, especially an ABM strategy. The spectrum of automation and personalization is great for anyone look to scale their programs, but wanting flexibility, as well.

Sendoso is currently being used by our marketing team (both customer marketing & customer acquisition teams), as well as our sales teams (including AE's and BDRs).
Sendoso helps our company by allowing us to offer thoughtful gifts to compliment our customer/prospect outreach to show appreciation for time, to try and schedule a meeting, or a variety of other reasons. They have been especially helpful over this past year when there has been a shift to working from home, given they offer a variety of eGift options that allow our sales team to continue sending gifts & getting prospect attention throughout this challenging time.
  • Wide variety of gift options to choose from (at a variety of price points, including tangible gifts & eGifts)
  • The ability to bundle gifts, personalized notes, business cards, and even wrapping it up in a very attractive manner
  • Salesforce alignment for tracking, as well as notifying the sender of the various stages in the sending process (processing, delivered, opened, redeemed, etc.)
  • I find that I often have questions that nearly always require opening up a support ticket. I've had to open more support tickets with sendoso than any other platform
  • I'd love to see more variety in eGift options
I believe that Sendoso can be leveraged effectively for any prospect regardless of where they are in their buyers journey - a small gift (eGift coffee card, etc.) can be effective as a door opener to start a conversation with someone who may not know who our company is. For specific key contacts we send our thought leadership book, written by our CEO to help the prospect learn more about our company and the impact we can have on organizations success. And when we deeper in a conversation with a prospect we can use a more-expensive gift or leverage the Amazon touch to send the prospect something personalized based on what we know about them (alum gift from where they went to school, their favorite sports team they talked about on our last call, something for their daughter who them mentioned was sick when we last talked, etc.)

When we are very far down the buyers journey with a prospect and they are in the process of making a final decision between a few vendors, it may look more like a bribe if we send them something at that point, so I don't think it is as appropriate.

Sales/marketing tool used to help get meetings with new prospects and customers.
  • It makes it easy for customers to access gifts while not being intrusive (not needing to provide their address directly to me).
  • It seems like you need to have $ in your account to send gifts, which of course makes sense, but the funds start to decrease with every invitation you send, even if the prospect does not redeem the offer. If that could be adjusted it would help.
The tool makes it easy to send a wide variety of things to prospects.

Our Sales department uses Sendoso. It is working quite well for our holiday treats and wine events.

ForgeRock used Sendeso as part of our 'Holiday Treat' campaign in an effort to gain access to new prospects.

Sending to prospects is well suited, however, there may be issues with sending gifts to current customers that have policies surrounding gifts or even donations. This is especially true for Financial Service companies and larger Corporations in general.

Sendoso is primarily being used by our sales and marketing teams. We initially started using Sendoso to scale our ABM Direct Mail Outreach in 2019, but really pivoted to using it more as a "Surprise and Delight" tool during 2020 and into 2021. Without Sendoso we would not be able to send direct mail in a timely manner, and it has facilitated being able to keep in touch with our clients, even as they have moved to working from home. I especially liked that at the beginning of the pandemic, Sendoso figured out a way for its users to send directly to a person's home, while being able to protect the recipient's privacy. This was instrumental in getting holiday gifts to clients this year.
  • Direct Mail - this is their bread and butter! If you can respect the timelines, you'll be very happy.
  • E-Gifting - lots of choices of both physical and gift card type sends
  • Sourcing - when we've worked with a project manager, always very happy with what has been recommended at different price points and appreciate they are willing to help with campaign ideas
  • Analytics - easy to understand send tracking
  • Wide Communication - As a whole, the organization is very good at building community, alerting users of upcoming rollouts and changes, and accepting feedback from users
  • Team Onboarding - We've had challenges with getting training for users who we've added after our initial onboarding phase.
  • Interface - while there are efforts to improve the usability and overall look and feel of the platform, I think this is Sendoso's biggest weakness. It just isn't intuitive and small things are missed.
  • Integrations - only integrates natively with a single CRM, Salesforce. Have been asking for Microsoft Dynamics integration since we started and it has always been "on the road map"
Sendoso is best when you either just need to send an e-gift or an unbranded send from one of their partners, have a long lead time for an event, a large number of goods to send, or a very clearly defined set of triggers to pull from existing inventory. If you need a quick turn around on sourcing and inventorying physical branded goods, it doesn't go so well.

Sendoso is currently used by mainly the Marketing and DemandGen departments. It a nice way to engage with potential customers, reignite unengaged opportunities and drive revenue. An easy way to send a personalized package or egift and stay connected with the recipient. Sendoso is an efficient and effective tool. You can also measure the effectiveness using the Analytics Dashboards.
  • Personalized package, egifts and branded items.
  • Easy to use.
  • Build stronger relationship with customers.
  • Configuring the Touches can be problematic when doing many and for different groups it would be nice to see improvements.
The platform has improved quite a bit since our organization has started using it. We often receive positive feedback from our customers who were recipients of the personalized packages and egifts. Campaigns, meeting new client or existing one. Share the joy during the holidays to show appreciation to your customers.

Sendoso is well-suited to send direct mailers to prospects and customers to drive engagement. The variety of touch options, especially for the US, makes it easy to send very tailored gifts to recipients.
