We also use it for the blog subscriber lists and contacts database. It is easy to use with tons of helpful articles if you need questions answered right away! The support team has been awesome when we had any issues at all too- they're super quick about getting back in touch with us no matter what time of day!

We use the platform for ourselves as well as our clients. We use both the sales and marketing sides and we love both equally. We use a lot of automation to connect sales efforts with marketing to great effect. Our clients really love the VisitorID tool, which gives them a behind-the-curtain view of who is visiting their website. This has been a nice way to a cold prospect.

  • Sales pipelines, which lets you track an opportunity along the sales process. Can implement automation with tasks creation, emails to prospect and notifications
  • Email marketing with easy to use email builder. Campaigns can be sent out manually or automatically. Can also be used for templated emails to send to contacts.
  • The landing page builder is a bit hard to use. Doesn’t have much flexibility.
  • Sometimes confusing between types of workflows to use. Opportunity versus visual.
  • If you imported contacts that weren’t formatted correctly. It is hard to delete a bull amount. Need to type DELETE for each one manually. No bull options to make changes.
SharpSpring would work really well with a team of salespeople because tasks can be assigned to each user of the system. The sales pipelines gives a visual of where prospects are in the sales process. SharpSpring is less appropriate when sales is not a large part of the organization or not every user is up for using the system.

We use SharpSpring to market our own services as well as for our clients. Any platform that we use has to work with B2B as well as B2C. We need to be able to scale up with a longer sales cycle using content marketing to nurture leads, whereas our clients have a shorter cycle based on promotion and advertising. The email part of the platform helps us to direct content that converts prospects to clients as we see what they are interested in by seeing what they respond to through the life of the lead feature of SharpSpring.

For our clients Sharpspring answers these questions which are problem areas for agencies:
  • What is the sequence of content that was consumed to win a sale?
  • What is the cost of getting a new customer?
  • What is the correct attribution for the lead?
  • Where is the accountability for the win or loss of a sale?
We now know the exact sequence of content to feed a contact based on the avatar. We are able to dynamically create a workflow that is personalized and reflects how the content consumed and by medium.

We know the media mix of organic and paid that converts contacts to leads, and leads to customers.

We use different attribution models to account for the lead.

With lead-scoring, only the leads that have been nurtured and primed for a salesperson are moved into the opportunity part of the sales pipeline.

  • Onboarding is easy for us as well as clients. Not a hassle for them.
  • Integrates smoothly with client CRM. This helps to close more sales and increases retention.
  • Visual flowchart for planning makes it easier to plan, communicate and implement things such automation processes.
  • Email having after the click tracking, keeps us informed of how out nurturing campaigns are working and what to change.
  • Advanced lead scoring to keep focused on the right things at the right time in the funnel process.
  • Lead funnel builder with Webex integration saves us time and money in getting a perfect funnel that integrates with the site perfectly.
  • Social activity history of the lead is something that gives us a real-time assessment of what is working in social media.
  • Onboarding can be overwhelming if you try to onboard without using materials and coaching provided. (Yes, that's me.) This is a robust platform and there is a lot of information to take in and get acquainted with to get the full effectiveness of the platform. You're going to be eager to start but take your time.
  • Patience required. There is a tendency to rush in to get started right away having seen the promise. SharpSpring provides high quality onboarding coaches for 60 days so nothing is missed.
Anything that requires lead nurturing or is a longer sales cycle is well suited for this platform. Working primarily with law firms we have to generate retainers that require building trust and authority. Although we have loads of content, being able to direct the most relevant content to prospects at the right time is important. Being able to get a read on what content differentiates and segments the audience helps us focus ad spending on the right audience.

This is a great dual-purpose platform meaning B2B and B2C. It has the marketing chops of HubSpot and Insfusionsoft and the enterprise sales chops of Salesforce at an affordable price point.

We use SharpSpring for both CRM and Marketing purposes. We also conduct digital marketing campaigns and support mainly marketing and sales. I like that the software can serve two purposes such as digital marketing, lead scoring and sales funnel management. I have used other software however like how intuitive the software platform is when using SharpSpring.
  • It is very good at tracking lead activities so one can see the history of where contacts go on our website
  • It is a very organized CRM that flows and is easy to understand
  • The software benefits are great as it services multiple needs such as marketing and CRM solutions
  • I would like a way in which one could book mark a contact as favorites
  • It would also be nice to have sent email added not just left a voice mail or contacted or no answer
  • Maybe have a little more color graphs when it comes to the anayltics
It is very good for tracking contacts that show certain interest. The software is very easy to navigate through. It integrates well with other software platforms. It is reasonably prices vs other CRM and Digital Marketing software platforms. I would recommend SharpSpring to others.
The customer service department has been real helpful for all our needs.

We have few clients, part of them are operating SharpSpring in-house, for others we are outsourced agency. We love ShaprSpring as there is no need for using other marketing software. Even remarketing campaigns are managed from SharpSpring.

Although SharpSpring can offer more good-looking templates (landing and email) and add some more feature in social media module it is more important that it can serve an agency needs almost 100%. We don't use any other marketing software and are teaching our clients to simplify what they can. That way they can manage more with less effort.

SharpSpring is used in the company mostly to gather leads and send newsletter and specific emails to leads and opportunities. We are looking forward to creating workflows with plenty of content once we have all the content we need. We are looking to have a more visibility into our leads and clients.

SharpSpring is a great tool because it centers a lot of marketing and sales activities into one platform that allows you to have the information linked together and easily accessible. That being said, it does have some issues that are slightly frustrating (as all MA systems tend to have) that would help boost the tool and unfortunately don't get addressed, like improving sections and assets that a lot of users have issues with. Overall, think it provides a good price/quality service.

I am one of a 25+ sales team that uses SharpSpring at the direction of our company owners. They control and decide how we use the features of SharpSpring. We are using it to do "digital marketing and sales" and, for me personally, a CRM.

  • I'm not sure this is an issue for SharpSpring but I would like "permission" from my system admin to be able to run more "reports" to make it easier to sort and analyze my contacts and their activity.

We use SharpSpring across the entire business for lead generation, sales commission tracking, existing and incoming client communication, and various tracking/reporting purposes. SharpSpring allows us to properly store and track information on leads after we have obtained them. We can organize our sales team and the sales teams of our clients so that proper reporting and ROI can be obtained from the sales side of things.

SharpSpring is great for building and organizing your inbound Marketing funnel. It will allow you to properly manage your sales team and even includes training for then internally. It's pretty powerful and can be resold to other businesses so if you focus on optimizing business sales teams it could be perfect for you.

We help our customers to grow with a proactive inbound marketing and sales strategy. SharpSpring is one of the marketing automation tools we use to support such a strategy. It helps us to optimize ads on social media, SEA and SEO, because the software shows the origin of a generated lead, and history of web visits, even prior to the opt-in moment.

SharpSping is a good alternative to HubSpot, with a greater value for money. If you have a real ambition to proactively grow your marketing and sales, and you want to learn from your campaigns to optimize them, then SharpSpring is great. Also if you a variety of good lead pages. If you only work with single funnels/campaigns and one or two lead pages, you can probably work with a combination of website pages and ActiveCampaign for forms.

We leverage SharpSpring within our marketing and sales departments. In marketing, it is used for sending all marketing emails, tracking personas/leads, automating campaigns, and other valuable efforts. Within sales, I use the CRM functionality to manage leads, track opportunities, and build pipelines. I also use the automated workflows to build out cadences that save time and allow for more uniform contact with prospects.

As a small company, SharpSpring is able to provide plenty of cross-team functionality between marketing and sales. We're able to keep all of our customer and prospect data in one place and easily keep track. It also has a relatively low learning curve and one can really get up and running fairly quickly if you've worked with other CRM type systems in the past. Data reporting isn't ideal as it is with other CRMs, but it isn't necessarily a requirement for some organizations.

  • Wish I could work out of the "opportunity" to email/call clients. All interactions need to be done under the specific lead, which means more clicking around.
Overall it works very well and we are still learning and implementing different features. We did not have a grand vision when we started so it has taken some time to put everything together to get the full value out of the system

SharpSpring is being used first to help us consolidate the myriad set of tools used to maintain what one would call a CRM. SharpSpring has also introduced us to the customer journey and given us a method to track our marketing activities. SharpSpring has provided us with an added bonus in making us an "agency." As an agency, we are able to offer SharpSpring services to our clientele or others as a reseller.

We use SharpSpring as our main contact database for our professional community/network. We have various events that we hold, and I use it for sending emails and for maintaining lists of attendees. We also use it for building our e-newsletter signup list (from our website) and sending out our newsletters. I have also used it for landing pages, to create signup forms for events, join our network, download our research paper, etc. SharpSpring allows us to gather all of this information in an organized fashion, and communicate with these contacts easily and efficiently.
  • Contact Lists - I like the way I can organize, import, etc. lists and create campaigns to associate those lists to.
  • Automation - I like that I can automate emails, notifications, etc. whenever an event occurs (i.e., someone fills out a form)
  • Email reporting - I like the detailed email reports with statistics
  • Landing page templates - not a lot of flexibility here on being able to customize. I have experience in html/web design, so it would help me if I was able to have more freedom in working with the page code.
  • Custom Fields (organization) - I use a lot of custom fields, and I would like a way to categorize or organize them on the Custom Fields tab. They can be placed in folders and organized in the Custom Fields Manager; however, when I'm in a Contact record, I have to scroll all the way down to the ones I need a lot of times, and if they could be tabbed or color-coded so I can find the ones I need faster that would be helpful.
  • Bulk Upload for Media - I upload a lot of assets to the Media, and it would be helpful to have a bulk upload option.
I think that SharpSpring is well suited for keeping and organizing contact lists, and sending emails. I don't really use it for ROI on contacts or leads currently. I think it has a great form collect/automation process. It can be integrated into other 3rd party (Zapier, WordPress) fairly easily; however, I would suggest developing an integration for Wix. Customer Service is always awesome and quick to respond.

Alongside this our sales team utilizes the opportunity pipeline and VisitorID function to nurture leads and move prospects along our sales funnel. It helps us manage prospects and existing clients.

I love the CRM, the updated email builder and the form integration on our website. I would like the ability to tag accounts/users when scheduling social posts. If you are looking simply for a CRM with a sales pipeline then SharpSpring will be an overkill. The true power of the platform comes in its almost limitless ability to automate tasks and free your teams capacity.

Many of our clients don't have a strategy in place and don't capture all the leads available to them through forms and chatbots, and we help them with them

For an overall inbound marketing strategy, it's very powerful and connects the marketing department to the sales department. The automations are specifically very powerful where you have a lot of options for triggers, filters and actions. You also have delayed action and the possibility of setting actions in advance, for example before a specific date.

At my company, SharpSpring is used by the marketing and sales department. Through Sharpspring, we are trying to manage all the marketing and sales strategies in the same place. From landing pages and leads management to PDF contents and reports, it is all in SharpSpring.
  • A very complete and cheap tool to organize all of my companies marketing and sales efforts.
  • The versatility and quantity of information it can gather.
  • The layout of the software could be more friendly.
It is a very good tool to organize content, automate the delivery of it, and see the actions that the leads do over time. The user needs time to understand the platform and get the most of it. It isn't very intuitive at first.

SharpSpring is being used by our whole organization. Our sales team mainly focuses on the CRM portion, helping us focus on current prospects, and keeping our sales team very organized. It also lets us compare month-to-month how we are performing.

Our marketing team uses it for email campaigns and tracking software that comes with it. It helps us differentiate where customers come in, why they were interested, and what marketing materials they would prefer.
  • Email Campaigns. Lets me attack my potential clients with the correct marketing focal points.
  • Marketing Analytics. Lets me track what is and isn't working. Helps for improving sales goals.
  • Media. It makes it very easy to apply video testimonials and visual presentations in smart mail.
  • CRM doesn't seem like the biggest focus at times. But they are helpful when taking feedback.
  • Every now and then they will have a beta mode that isn't fully ready for a new feature, and it makes my sales team a bit slower at times.
If you are a business-to-business sales company, there is no reason not to use this software. It's reliable, the marketing functionality is superb, the price is a bargain in comparison to their competition, and when they do have a flaw in their system, the feedback from support is phenomenal. Highly recommended.
