SharpSpring is very similar to HubSpot. HubSpot offers more in the partnership program but the price can be exclusive to other parts of the country with lower median incomes.

Mailchimp is a simplified version of SharpSpring. SharpSpring offers far more uses and is much better laid out. However, Mailchimp's advantage is that it can be integrated with about every platform you would need (especially eCommerce - SharpSpring has trouble here).

Sendible: SharpSpring was cheaper, had other features we were planning to use (and have since abandoned), and looked to be less glitchy than Sendible, which was not intuitive, had poor support, and lost posts occasionally. We have come to find out that SharpSpring lacks many useful features (filtering the calendar, shortening links, reliably sharing Youtube links, LinkedIn photo posting, Facebook direct photo upload, etc.). We've also had much difficulty in getting it to reliably post anything. Profiles have disappeared, posts have disappeared, and SharpSpring's suggestion was to create 25 more Facebook profiles to manage our business pages. Um, what? We don't even have that many people on our team! HubSpot: We were basically using this as an address book. We were hoping to have a cleaner, simpler interface with SharpSpring that would enable our whole team easy access to client contact information. We also hoped to utilize their pipeline for sales. Turns out, the sales features are clunky and lack ways to add information we need and the contacts feature makes it extremely difficult to save contacts without email addresses, save multiple business locations, and many other fields that would be handy to not have to create from scratch.

SharpSpring promises all but nothing complete. They build a software that you have to hire them to do all the things it should do. They have 3 levels of Certification: Silver, Gold and Platinum. I am Gold and the implementation of the software requires coding knowledge. The functionality of the software is only to justify the increase in prices. But all the new functionality, even the first ones, are full of bugs.

SharpSpring provides better email marketing automation than Mail Chimp and Constant Contact. It's easier to build automated workflows in SharpSpring than it is in Active Campaign or Keap (formerly InfusionSoft). SharpSpring offers a very good suite of tools at a more affordable rate than HubSpot and Marketo.

Infusionsoft and Pardot each have their strengths and weaknesses compared to SharpSpring. Overall, Infusionsoft and Pardot are more robust, while SharpSpring is more affordable. SharpSpring is much easier to use as an agency, as it's easy to learn and easy to manage multiple clients. Infusionsoft has a much better email builder and has a better CRM contact management system. Pardot has better reporting, landing pages, and out of the box integrations.

I have previously used Goldmine and Basecamp, but that was quite a while ago. I can't imagine that they even come close to SharpSpring.
I looked at Hubspot and Salesforceprior to purchasing SharpSpring, but both were price per seat. Because we have 1099 contractors, the cost per seat model didn't make sense for us. Hence we went with SharpSpring

We had been using Lead Forensics for a few years prior to SharpSpring. Once we learned about SharpSpring we knew we wanted to make the switch, but had unfortunately just resigned our year-long contract with Lead Forensics. Lead Forensics showed us which companies looked at our website and what pages they were looking at. SharpSpring offers this same feature for the same cost, plus dozens of other features that Lead Forensics didn't offer.

SharpSpring offers a full email platform that allows you to create, test, and launch emails. Due to this, we no longer need to use Constant Contact. Once we transferred all the data we had from our Constant Contact account to SharpSpring, we canceled our Constant Contact plan and are now solely running with SharpSpring. Just another example of a money-saving opportunity with SharpSpring.

We prefer SharpSpring to HubSpot for its marketing and sales tools. We found the pricing the best option for what the application provides. We found the training and account managing support far higher in quality from SharpSpring than HubSpot. We were less engaged with the application and team support at HubSpot in comparison to our experience here at SharpSpring.

SharpSpring offers nearly all the features that the competitors do at a fraction of the price. Also, SharpSpring is far more economical than any of the competitors. However, even if price was no object, SharpSpring is more user-friendly, has a more logical interface, and has absolutely transcendental support for all their offerings.

HubSpot and Marketo and very robust software/programs but I felt they were cost prohibitive to many companies just entering into the field of marketing automation (or companies just starting to expand their marketing budgets.)

SharpSpring is 1/10 the cost and therefore has fewer features, however, there is rarely a case when I meet anyone who uses all the features on Salesforce. The features ShaprSpring has are robust and expanding, and there hasn't been anything we've wanted to accomplish that would couldn't with SharpSpring.

SharpSpring crushes other MA/CRM platforms. Cost, features, and mainly TEAM. They are an amazing group and keep a finger on the pulse of their clients. Many other platforms are interested in only locking you in for a 1+ year contract and letting discounts fall away until you are stuck paying for a 20,000€/ year system that's unused and just kept around because "we've always done it this way".

SharpSpring is comparable to a lot of other email programs, like Pardot. It has all the essential features but has more bang for your buck. It is not expensive and can cost 3x-10x less, this is a big factor for smaller companies like ours. Pardot traps you in a contract and does not give you a month to month like SharpSpring. They don't have nearly the same amount of features like SharpSpring. Mainly it came down to cost-effectiveness, for what SharpSpring can do it is a pretty good value.

More cost-effective than HubSpot/Pardot and more marketing and sales automation tools than email service providers like Mailchimp. The combination of the Marketing CRM and Sales CRM in a single platform is critical for many of our clients. The ability to build the "Life of the Lead" and provide that engagement visibility has helped our clients close more business.

Overall, I have tested more applications. If there is one thing that sticks out with SharpSpring, it is price and the quality you get for the price. If you buy SharpSpring, you get everything you can see, no add-ons afterward or limits. (Well 100,000 leads and 25,000 emails each month.)

Most other programs have sneaky limits. You only pay like €49,- a month BUT you wont get the CRM parts, or you limit is only 1000 leads. Once you want to mail or import 5000 leads you will pay €599 a month, oh and you want the CRM? That's another €99 extra a month.

So a tip would be - REALLY take a good look at the pricing and what's included...If you only have 1000 leads then some other programs would be great. If you have more or need other functions - read twice!

Better at maintaining clients and using as a Marketing Agency. A few more features with a little less customization in some areas like workflow builders. However, the API is way better in my opinion and has a native Salesforce Integration. The CRM is less than agile, but the Marketing automation and CRM are in total better and easier to use, especially for mid sized to larger companies.

SharpSpring provides all the functionality my clients and I need most at a fraction of the cost of leading competitors. It does so in a user-friendly application with excellent self-help tools and support.

Before choosing SharpSpring, I was hands-on with HubSpot, Marketo, and Act-On and chose SharpSpring because of what I've written above and because it was much easier to learn and use than those platforms.

When I first subscribed, there were a few features it was missing that I wished it had, but "settled” on SharpSpring based on a price/value decision. Lo and behold, over the last year they have added additional functionality including a couple of the key missing pieces and in doing so, technically reduced prices.

SharpSpring is much easier to use and the UI has an intuitive workflow. Everything is in one place without the need to keep adding pieces. Our teams are using the tool and are not confused by it. Then there is the cost difference. We have saved thousands every year by making the switch.
