We've used visualizations to show high-level trends and outliers. Most of our reports include filters to allow users to view specific timeframes or product launches.

I have used filters and parameters extensively to be able to filter necessary data. They are helpful but I found that using SQL directly is even easier for me, since I'm already well familiar with this language. The UI is fairly responsive in general, although some times a bit difficult to navigate for the new user.

I have not created any dashboards yet, but I have used the visualization tools for doing basic charting. It seems like there are enough charting options to do what I need in most cases, and I like the way that the options are presented in the interface. The charting tools seem fairly intuitive.

I typically only access the tools on my desktop and apply simple filters around country and lead source for decision making. In truth, my use is not very innovative but needs constituent, reliable data in easily comparable formats, which is provided through Sigma Computing.

We have used the Sigma to create a standard dashboard layout for our enterprise reporting. The parameters allow us to dramatically reduce BI effort to create reports by allowing us to create one report for a certain subset of data, pass in a client ID parameter, and having only that client's data populate the report. Then we can just have our app distribute the one report automatically across all environments without oversight.

So a lot of the consultancy work my team does is very custom, so unfortunately I do believe we are not using the visualizations as much as we could be/should be. Most of the time we use what is in the dashboard to create something new rather than using it as it is. That is something I can start pushing for though!

The version that my organization subscribed to does not have much data visualization. I think Sigma can allow for the more advanced data visualization for the lower version. Currently right now, we have to use PowerBI on top of Sigma data download to build out our visualization.

It is great that we can add different visualizations, titles, images, and now, even embed links like Google Maps/Google drive. It's really amazing how much Sigma has improved since I first started using the system.

I haven't done all that much with the templated dashboards myself to be honest, building mostly pretty standard/static ones, but the ability to have variables carry through from a dashboard to the underlying sheet lets us do a lot of nice things with date ranges and the like. That said, even if we're not using the most powerful features, the dashboards we have built, which are many, look really nice and understandable, and are easy to build. The fact that I've never bothered with their templates I think speaks to how easy it is to just build them myself.

In addition to our own in-built reports, we have used Sigma to embed graphs within dashboard pages. The ability to pass parameters was essential in order to avoid the multiplication of worksheets and the pages are to be accessible on any device. So we have been able to propose embedded dashboards showing sales performance or system usage to targeted audiences.
