Excellent choice for basic e-signature needs

Using regular signatures for lease agreements was slow and time-consuming, for both sides of the contract. I was looking for a product that delivered electronic signature functionality, without bloat, at a reasonable price. That's why I use SignNow.
  • E-signatures.
  • Document uploads.
  • Contract Management.
Cons
  • Some basic features require an advanced license, like document grouping.
  • Retaining display names along with email addresses (currently the email address is only retained).
SignNow is well suited for basic e-signature needs, which in my experience, is most contracts.

For individuals to sign all electronic documents that are private and public, I can create a template and post it on the website for people to go to and fill out.
  • Easy to create templates.
  • Easy to develop folders for documents using the templates.
  • Easy to rectify errors when creating forms.
Cons
  • Once a template link is created, you should be able to go back and view what it is without creating an entirely new one.
  • Make it possible for you to have more than one blank email address and still be able to use the field to name the documents.
  • Do not attach the private documents to the email. Only notify the person that it has been completed. When handling private information, I would rather I have to log into SignNow to access it and not see it in my email.
  • This might be possible and I have not learned it yet, but make it possible to save a template email that will be sent out so I do not have to keep typing it when sending a form.
For all private communications, it makes it easy to collect and it is sent through a secure location. However, I do not like that once it is complete the finished copy is sent to my email address.

Great value - easy to use.

Templates for customer contracts and advisor relationships. It is simple to set up basic templates and have the appropriate data added by the right department, as well as a final review, before sending it to the customer and then back to the executive for countersign.
  • Ease of creating and managing templates.
  • Easily monitor activity.
  • Ability to reassign an agreement to ne email address.
Cons
  • Edit existing templates.
  • Management of archives.
Well Suited: Small company with a single primary user and several participants in the process. SImple to manage and keep track of the status.

We currently use SignNow for the execution of nearly all of our contracts. As a small organization with many moving parts, we utilize SignNow to address the inefficiencies of the manual approval and execution process. We can customize the order and type of approval required for each agreement based on our internal policy. We also use SignNow for template agreements and can send a link to a bulk set of third parties for individuals to sign (same agreement signed individually for those who contract with us).
  • Customizable review and approval flows.
  • Links for bulk execution on an individual basis.
  • Storage space.
  • Desktop and app are user friendly.
Cons
  • Adjust the date fields so they more easily align with the line on the contract.
  • When sending to signers, allow for a company-specific template email to automatically populate and not the standard SignNow email template.
  • Track viewed agreements via a bulk link but do not create a new contract that is not signed.
We use SignNow at every scale, from signing one-page letters to executing 50/100+ page agreements. The user-friendly experience makes it easy for our signers to review and execute with ease. Our signers can click on the link in the email, review, and sign/initial in the space designated for the signer. We do not typically use fillable agreements (other than name and signature), so I can't speak to that feature.

A very worthy consideration for your electronic signature needs

We use SignNow for engagement letters and other documents requiring client signatures. It allows our clients to electronically sign documents without coming into the office. They can sign from mobile phones, tablets or computers.
  • You can choose to password protect the esign request.
  • You can choose to email a signed copy of the document once completed or withhold it if there's sensitive information that you don't want sent via email.
  • Allows clients the ability to sign from almost any location and on any connected (data or wifi) device.
Cons
  • Would like to see Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA) option
This works well for legal documents that don't require KBA. Great for virtual office solutions and for a rush signature request. I see this working well for CPA, attorney and insurance industries.
