Some well suited areas are Product Onboarding, Certfication programs, Software training for Clients, Continuous Learning for the employees and customer support knowldge base. These areas are really good to go in real world in the vcompany and some of the less appropriate scenarios might be short term training solution, low user engagement.

It is well suited for a small company who doesn't have the resources to create their own implementation of an LMS and where the LMS is not the primary revenue generator. It probably is not appropriate for large companies with large development teams who can engineer their own in house LMS and have a sizable support team to back all of this up.

Well-suited for software companies with customer/partner/employee education initiatives like certification programs. It's actually well-suited for any company because every organization has things like harassment training, security training, etc., that every employee has to take; Skilljar makes it easy to administer and track these training and related certs.

I believe Skilljar is a great product for anyone looking to implement a Learning Management system that is easy to set up, manage, and scale. While other LMS platforms may have lots of bells and whistles, if you're looking to get set up quickly this is the way to go. We use Skilljar in our Saas business and it's allowed me to manage our educational content fairly easily.

Customization and Out of the Box: Skilljar has a great out-of-the-box theme that's easily customizable for customers who may not know coding or HTML. You can also fully customize your LMS site via CSS or Skilljars pro services.

If you are looking to create a complex LMS reflective of LinkedIn Learning, may not meet your expectations. However, platforms at that level come with a cost. Skilljar is more cost-effective for those starting their LMS journey, and you'd be surprised how far you can go and scale your platform.

Skilljar Customer Education Software is an excellent platform for hosting elearning courses. For any organization looking to provide their customers with a web-based platform allowing their customers to consume education or help content, Skilljar Customer Education Software can provide a world-class experience. The platform is highly customizable and has many integration features, such as connecting to Salesforce, which was critical to us. The platform is easy to learn and the reporting and analytics the system provides help us understand the performance of our courses.

Skilljar works extremely well for customer and partner training, specifically self-led training like micro-learning, elearning, and learning paths. Skilljar is a good choice for internal training if your needs are more around product training. From an administrator perspective, it's very easy and intuitive to upload content, create pages, pull reports, and overall maintenance making is possible for small teams (even a team of one) to manage. The Skilljar APIs make it simple to integrate into other systems like your CRM, advocacy platform, webinar platforms, etc.

Skilljar brings a great user experience compared to our previous education software vendor. Customers have loved the look and ease of use when it comes to registering for courses and completing lessons. The software allows for multiple domains and they are all customizable to provide a unique experience based on the business relationship. Courses are easy to create and publish to one or more domains and allows you to do an additional setting customization for each domain you publish in. I have especially enjoyed working with the Skilljar customer success team as they have been very helpful when it comes to helping us find ways to use Skilljar at its fullest potential.

With the good also comes the bad, we continue to have frustration around the lack of customized reports, live event enhancements - like cancellation notifications and registration deadlines. If you rely heavily on customized reports like I do, you may have a frustrating time getting this in Skilljar. I will say, they have been saying it is in the "works" so I hope this means we can have this option this year!

Skilljar is great for training. We have been able to get our clients more up to speed on our products using Skilljar, as it is self-service and easy for them to use. It is also easy for me as an admin to view the "students" in the system, track their progress, and update their progress if they feel "stuck" for any reason - which is user error and not because of the software.

Skilljar is well suited to self-paced courses that need to be accessed by users in any location at any time. It hosts a variety of content that adult learners can use to upskill in the areas that are relevant to them. While you can host live virtual events through the platform, it is not ideal for situations where regular student interactions or instructor facilitation is needed, as there is not a discussion forum feature.

Skilljar will get you up and running with a learning portal very quickly. If you want your portal to look highly customized, you will need help from their PS team, or you will need a web developer to help build out the learning portal the way you want it.

We offer video content, text content, live training, and exams through Skilljar Customer Education Software. We've had great experiences using the platform for all of these--our Learning Center rarely experiences downtime and our content is easy to set up. Customers do not experience issues navigating the site and finding what they need. Skilljar's filter functionality has been hugely helpful in allowing us to build out our site in a way that makes sense to customers. We have a lot of courses and have experimented with different site structures--Skilljar has never been a roadblock.

Skilljar Customer Education Software is an excellent customer education platform for small companies all the way up to enterprise level based on my experience. It's easy to get up to speed quickly with a basic platform, and it has opens for those who are skilled to really customize (hopefully this opens up even more in the future for those are skilled in web design). We primarily use it for external learning, but do know that many people also use it for internal enablement.

Skilljar Customer Education Software is a great solution for those who want an LMS that has moderately developed features. It’s useful for storing learning content and creating learning paths, but more can be desired for us instructional designers who want more control over the user interface and customization options. I enjoy using the system to understand analytics however often download them to aggregate with more developed dashboards and systems.

If you're looking for a simple, yet powerful platform for customer training, Skilljar Customer Education Software is a very good option. If you have a wide variety of content offerings, including self-paced learning, learning paths, certifications, and webinars the third-party integrations will be really helpful, especially if you are using a cms or a third-party tool for analytics, such as Salesforce, pendo, etc. If you are relying on their platform analytics only, you'll find that a lot of things need to be manually done and it takes time, plus you can't automate some reports.
