We utilize the migration suite for 365 migrations and subsequently backup for our 365 clients

  • Comprehensive backup suite
  • UI glitches and bugs

  • General performance/responsiveness
Ideal if your a Microsoft partner with a focus on the MS cloud. Less appropriate for Google vendors.

  • Profitable migration business
  • Profitable backup solution

SkyKick sets the standard for MS cloud services, including backup and migration
Responsive, technically capable, and friendly. Ive always had a good experience working with SkyKick su[[ort.
No, I didn't know it was an option.
Yes
Absolutely - the product team followed up multiple times regarding the status of the fix, even after my problem had been resolved
I was doing an overnight migration which was highly stressful. I had to rely on GoDaddy and SkyKick to orchestrate a tenant migration and it was an exceptionally problematic project. The SkyKick support in Europe was fantastic and highly invovled, even once the project had moved past their purview.

We have used SkyKick several times as a migration tool from on-premises hosted email to Office 365. Microsoft does not make it easy for these migrations and a high level of expertise is required. That's where SkyKick comes in to simplify the whole process. We also use their Cloud Backup service to backup Microsoft 365 data. This addresses the risk of having one single copy of your data when moving it to [the] cloud, as well as relying on a cloud provider to look after it.
  • Office 365 migration
  • Cloud backup
  • Support and assistance
  • Response time and [ease] to get hold of
  • Integration with 3rd party apps for billing
SkyKick does a great job on migrations to Office 365. Their technicians are very helpful in planning the whole process, and the tool itself is quite reliable and resilient. Their cloud backup works OK but it does not provide the most friendly or fastest recovery. It also sits on the expensive side as they charge separately for Exchange and Onedrive/Sharepoint backups.
  • Cloud backup
  • Migration tool
  • Helps to reduce costs on specific projects by reducing in-house or [outsourced] technician labor costs.
  • Reduced risk by keeping a copy of your data in their cloud.
For migration purposes, we have chosen SkyKick over and over again. Their tool just works and does a great job with multiple different sources. Their support team is awesome albeit could be somewhat faster sometimes. Regarding cloud backup, it seems like that space is quite commoditized as every vendor offers the same. SkyKick does have some good promotions on migration costs when signing up for cloud backups as well which makes them more competitive than other vendors.
