Skype for business was the foremost used instant messaging and video calling software used in my organization.
Previously it was used by whole organization but now it is limited to various teams in the organization, as another software are being used now.
Skype is used to share messages between colleagues, teammates any internal team messages. It is very easy to install and use.

We are using Skype for Business in our organization for business majorly for secure internet calls. Most of the Professors are doing their research work and for that they have to be in touch with the researchers from around the globe. We are also using it to communicate with our development team who is working on the deployment and regular maintenance of the software we are using on the campus. Accept that during this pandemic time we are using it for interview purpose.

Skype for Business (formerly Lync) is currently being used throughout all departments in the entire organization. It is used as the front end communications application, whether it be for internal calls, external calls, message bank, or instant messages. It is also used for video conferencing, which has been especially useful during lockdowns and times that staff have had to work from home.

Skype [for Business (formerly Lync)] was used in my organization for secure state employee messaging and videos calls. It addressed the need for live instant communication between employees for collaboration and discussion.

Our organization used Skype as the main messaging application across the entire organization globally for all employees. They are installed by default on all user machines and used as the primary instant messaging software for communication between teams and employees.

We have a large group, and during the COVID pandemic, Skype for Business has been a great help to connect with all group members. We use Skype for Business for our group meetings and if we are arranging a seminar from our group. We use it to share documents and live chat during work hours as well.

Skype is used to communicate between teams in our organization from last 2 years. There are couples of softwares, which are used by our organization but most of the time we use Skype for chat, video conferencing, screeen sharing etc. We discuss our day working plan, our ideas and which team will work on which project all these discussions are made on Skype.

It is being used across the whole organization. It was used to chat instantly with anyone, schedule video or voice calls. It was also very helpful because it allowed people to see each other's set up situation (busy, available, away, etc.), so you pick the people easier to reach out according to their availability.

[Our organization is using Skype for Business (formerly Lync)] for medium to large sized video calls and conferences with some of the manufacturers we represent. The group chat option helps to facilitate a smoother flow of conversation as it enables people to have "side conversations" without disrupting the presentation being put forth to the group as a whole. Very similar in nature to other video conferencing software. Some additional benefits.

We used it as a company wide instant messaging tool and also for some file and screen sharing. It allows users to see if other users are online and get a quick response to a question. It was also used to send files, images and screen shares quickly while on the phone as well.

Skype for Business is used in Orange Business Services across all Russian offices. This is one of primary collaboration tools and it enables voice and video calls, messaging with attachments, meetings and screen sharing for workers. It also contains corporate directory to find the right person to communicate with. It is configured to allow both PSTN and office calls as well as voice calls to our business partners with federation installed.

Skype for Business (formerly Lync) was being used on occasion for quick meetings. We enjoyed the easy-to-navigate user interface. If only our wifi was strong at the time of use. If you are looking for a great video conferencing tool that allows you to chat during calls and again the ease of use was a major selling point.

Skype for Business was heavily used by my organization until Teams reached (mostly) feature parity. We still have some users that haven't completed the migration to Teams - this will be complete by the end of the month as Skype for Business Online is being phase[d] out for Microsoft Teams effective July 31, 2021. It is impossible to recommend a product that is going end of life in less than two months.

We started using Skype for Business [(formerly Lync)] as a replacement tool for Cisco WebEx, specifically for webinar hosting and customer service assistance. With a company that has four separate business divisions, we hosted webinars quite regularly. With multiple customer service teams, use of the platform for system troubleshooting where our customers could share their screen and show us their issues were quite common as well.

We currently use Skype for Business to correspond with each other. I use it to communicate with my reps and they use it to ask me questions. It has solved a lot of issues especially now that we are working from home and cannot see each other or talk to each other in person.

Skype for Business is used by our entire organization. The main purpose for using Skype for Business are video calls, although it is used as a messenger as well. As pandemic starts and some workers started to work remotely it is used more and more often. Skype for Business is also used when there are large meetings, in which representatives from different divisions discuss the strategy and challenges of our company.

Skype is still widely used in the company as a quick messenger type of chat to ask questions, get help and use for communication. It's an easy-to-use platform that allows users to quickly get their message out to others.

Skype for Business is used by my organization as main point of contact to partners. We mostly used the instant messaging feature, but sometimes when needed, video was used as well. Quality was not the best, but still acceptable most of the times and users relied heavily on that because that was the only option to contact many partners.

Skype for Business is very easy and convenient tool used for messaging across our company. It is used by whole organization to communicate virtually. We find it best while seeing other user screen and when presenting the screen to others. Voice clarity are so clear and precise in the group meeting.
Easily send and receive the files. What else we need!!

Skype for Business is used for internal communications. It can be easily integrated with Microsoft Outlook which helps it easier to set up meetings. Sending invitations outside the business is also possible by sharing a single conference line. Screen share and video conferencing is also possible. Dial in through laptop and phone is also available and makes it easier to access.

Skype for Business has been a life saver. It provides global communication across our many sites and is easy to install. If the email is down or a user is away, they can use Skype on the phone or sometimes Skype is quicker. As a business product it's user friendly for most OS's and users. My users love the speed. You can set whether you're online or away and pop [out] multiple chat screens if you have a lot of conversations. You can merge conversations as well or best them to be neat and tidy. For IT users or the regular user you can do presentations by presenting your screen, or if you have trouble an IT pro can take control of your shared screen.
