  • Channels are easy to access and follow the posts
  • Great apps to install and centralize your activities
  • With the tool "circle" it's possible to simulate the face to face interactions of the office
  • Sometimes the program just frozen, probably when it is overloaded but it is annoying
  • Once in a while, it automatically disconnects from the google calendar app, without any action from the user.

  • The left panel looks too crowded; I think the starred channel should be the first one
  • Ability to send short audio messages without a third-party app; built features should be faster considering that Slack has phone/call feature
  • Search results are sometimes confusing; too much information, perhaps Slack team can improve the UI

  • User interface options (web, mobile, application on PC) and overall look and feel with the color schemes are great
  • 2FA with Google Authenticator is reliable and works flawlessy
  • During screenshares, possibility to highlight items (or draw) in real time is awesome
  • Video conferencing could be better for quality, audio-video synchronization
  • Slack could do a better job implementing security in the product in ways that would make it acceptable by enterprise ITs more easily
  • Slackbot is sometimes highlighting users annoyingly

  • Threading on messages
  • Integration with other apps
  • File sharing and search
  • Better video support (was often glitchy, unlike Zoom)
  • Better rule for enterprise version, where no private conversations are actually private
  • Too easy to create many private rooms and have to search for which one was active

  • The communication channels have an excellent notification system. Notifications in Slack are one of the things that make it a very beneficial software, because I can be attentive to any movement of the chat channels, also, I can know when I am being mentioned in any of the channels.
  • The transfer of images is completely effective, it does not diminish the quality of the images that are transferred through the chat channels.
  • The application for mobile devices is very complete, I have general access to all the chats that exist within my company, in addition, I also have the ability to reply to messages from this application.
  • The communication channels can be accessed by any employee of any sector, this facilitates the communication of the various sectors and achieves that all sectors can share information between them.
  • The main problem we have had with using Slack is in relation to its word search system. This platform offers us a search system since on many occasions, some messages are lost during long conversations, however, this search system is not as effective since it only shows the most recent words of the search and does not show all of the results. It is important to note that a deeper and more exact search would help us find messages faster.

  • It expedites internal customer service among busy departments, aiding us to give our candidates the best experience.
  • The channel feature is awesome because we have so many little projects and to have a channel where you can communicate solely with the necessary parties is just great.
  • I like the variety of emoticons as well because they can be so expressive where words might be too strong.
  • There are a lot of applications that work in tandem with Slack and I've found them a little hard to maneuver. I wish they were easier to use or there was a little more guidance.
  • The status feature is almost lost amongst everything else that goes on in Slack. There are times when you are really busy and won't be able to respond immediately or times when you are on a trip, etc. Having the desktop and mobile features active sometimes confuse the audience and I wish it was easier or if there was a more dynamic status function and maybe there is and I've just yet to discover it.
  • I had an issue recently where I couldn't change the name of a channel, but I had to delete it and create a new one. Too much work.

  • The main feature that I love about Slack is the section below the main panel, where I can access unread messages, specific threads of conversations and also gives me access to all the mentions that have been during my downtime . In addition, I also have a visualization of the messages saved in this section, so I have everything in one place, everything very organized.
  • Slack has an excellent integration with the Marketing system of our company, in this way we can have a wide administration of emails and marketing automation while conducting a team conversation. This integration is quite functional and has a very notable success for our Marketing sector, we can have long conversations while managing the marketing, all from one place.
  • I love the notification system that Slack has, it's the great synchronization it has. Slack allows me to receive notifications on all devices linked to my Slack account, which helps me receive notifications on my phone and also on my desktop computer. These notifications are sent simultaneously, which allows me to be active and view all the movement that occurs in the chat channels.
  • The main problem we have in Slack is that conversations sometimes get out of control and there is no way to regulate this, there is no configuration that controls the amount of messages or the general volume of messages that can be in a channel, which causes our employees to have long topics of conversation that disrupt productivity. I would like to be able to regulate this with some Slack configuration.
  • Slack's search system is one of the features that doesn't work successfully. This search system has a long delay when I insert a word in the search, it takes a long time to perform the search, in addition, it does not show all the results of the searched word, it only shows the most outstanding and most recent results.

  • It is an excellent project management tool.
  • Slack has improved our communication workflow with our team and improved the way we interact with clients.
  • The translation tool allows us to communication in different languages, without the need to open google translator.
  • It has numerous integrations that allow for third-party apps to interact, create, and receive messages and alerts.
  • The tool takes up a lot of battery especially if you are using a lot of channels and rooms.
  • Storage is very limited.
  • The messages takes time updating.
  • The video collaboration tools aren't very intuitive.

  • Call option to call directly.
  • Notification option to let everyone know if something important is going to announce on the group.
  • Reminder option on slack for individual's and also for the group reminder.
  • Tagged option to tag a person individually.
  • Direct message option.
  • Status option that will other employees know if you are available or not.
  • Edit option will make it more useful to users.
  • slack could introduce a feature like offline service.

  • I really like the giphy integration.
  • It is quick and has great seamless integrating with other tools.
  • It's very quick and hardly ever crashes so it's reliable.
  • It's not always clear when the connections work or don't work with Google.
  • This could be more of how we have laid things out but there can be too many channels and how things are notified it's not cleanly laid out. It would be great if all the channels that I have an unread message go straight to the top.

  • Easy to communicate.
  • Simple to find everybody in your network.
  • Use of gifs and emojis is absolutely hilarious.
  • Love that the color schemes can be changed to user's preference.
  • Should be able to see old messages after 30 days.
  • Notifications should go out when new message is posted in group chats, not just when mentioned.
  • The notification noise is something I wish I could turn off.
