In a paid version members get priority support, but the Slack team is also fast to get to even free version users. You’ll never wait too long for a long-unanswered support question.

I have used the help articles a couple times, or Googled how to do something in Slack. I have not contacted their customer support, but I have never had the need to either. The articles and tips they provide are helpful, and it is pretty intuitive in the first place.

The overall support is very satisfactory since one can easily understand the way Slack works, by following tutorials and tips provided in the website and app. I have never really used the official support from the Slack team, but the way the product is designed simplifies things a lot, so support is not really necessary.

So far we haven't had to contact customer support, as the FAQ is pretty good at answering most of the questions that come up. They also have a tutorial on their website to walk you through how to use the app if you need it.

Have never had the pleasure of using Slack support so wouldn't know, but I've heard good things. It's really an achievement when a SaaS product is so good, you rarely need to contact support (if ever). What I find useful is that Slack always make the customers aware if they are down through their status page and Twitter.

I've never had a problem with Slack itself, but any issues I have had are with the setup of specific features or add-ons that are not run by Slack. Even with this, there are support routes through forums, etc online making it easy to address any problems that were there. The contact info seems clear for the Slack guys too though, so I Would imagine it'd be easy to get some feedback or query responses.
