What is SlickPie (discontinued)?

SlickPie was free online accounting software designed for small businesses, offering online invoicing and billing, multicurrency, financial reporting, bank reconciliation, automatic payment reminders, and source document upload.

SlickPie provided an automated data entry tool that let people use their phone cameras to convert the information from receipts and bill to digital data. It also enabled users to set up recurring invoices to clients paying consistent amounts, with specific recurrence intervals.

SlickPie has been discontinued, and is no longer available.

SlickPie is a perfect software that is helping me and my organization with online invoicing and billing. it helps us provide the estimation to clients as well.it is free for a small organization. we like its dashboard which gives us a better understanding and is easy to use. It has many features related to Accounting which can help any organisation to maintain in an easy way.

It is super easy to learn and use. I have used more than 2years for my freelancing activity and it was a good choice at the start. some time server does not respond correctly while printing my documents. so I think there is some room to improve. overall it is a good application and saved a lot of my time.

It is easier to use and it is free for freelancers or small organizations. It is the best application to start and those who don't want to invest money in handling accounting and printings things. it supports mobile platforms like android and iPhone, clouds and saas so it helps a lot more.
It has live training so anyone can learn and use it.
It saved me and me lots of time. it is free for smaller organizations or freelancers. it has Android, iPhone and iPad support. It has many features for Account management related tools and features. we can upload documents, print as per requirements. it has other features like Billing & invoicing, contact database, cash Management which can help in many ways.
It is a time saver for Account related things and it has a Billing & invoicing feature which helps us to generate bills and prints directly or share online. It has a very well designed dashboard where we can do our daily work. and it is free for freelancers and small companies so need to worry about money.

Pretty straightforward and easy-to-use

I use SlickPie to do my entire business accounting. The software is a pretty straightforward all-in-one accounting solution and I use it mostly to send online invoices to get paid faster, to check on my business financial reports, and to use the automation resources provided like the auto-recurring invoices and the automatic payment reminders, and especially their new automated data entry tool called MagicBot.

  • It's free to use.
In my opinion, SlickPie is best suited for small business owners and freelancers, especially service-based ones. If that's your case, then it's a no-brainer. However, if you are a bigger enterprise or if you are not a service-based business, then it might not be the best choice for you. Still, the software is free to use, so you might just give it a try anyway.

  • It saves me around $500 in accounting software subscription per year.
  • It saves me around 4-5 hours a week in manual data entry (thanks to MagicBot).
  • It reduced the average time customers take to pay for my invoices.
Before shifting to SlickPie I was using QBO, so I guess I'll list it as a competitor. However, since SlickPie offers me 80-90% of QBO's features for free I can't really say QBO is a relevant contender.
