There have been a few glitches where candidates don't get our emails sent via SmartRecruiters and also when they apply through our company website. However, the overall candidate exeprience is positive. Easy to apply and fill in the screeening questionnaire. Equally sending a link for candidates to apply is quite user friendly as well.

Overall the candidate experience is OK, but we have noticed some complaints due to the sluggishness of the system where candidates in several cases have uploaded or submitted information several times since the confirmation of a successful upload simply is too slow. This should, however, be relatively easy to correct by simply speeding up the cloud environment.

Because I have only used the tool to hire employees, I am unaware of the quality of candidate experience that's enabled. I do know, compared to other recruiting tools I have used this seems to be pretty straight forward and easy to use for the user and candidates. None of the employees I hired had complaints about the application.

Because we do not use a whole lot of social media for our job posting and candidate search, I have not been able to test these features using SmartRecruiters. However, the best feature for us has been the ability to store all of our resumes in one place, search for applicants easily and pull up information for each person quickly. Record keeping has been improved significantly and it's less time consuming than doing it the old fashion way.

Within the hundreds (thousands?) of candidates I have reviewed through SmartRecruiters to-date, the range of candidate experience is quite broad (ranging from zero qualifications to vastly overqualified). My experience with SmartRecruiters in this aspect is no different than the experiences I've had with alternatives we have used in the past.

We have a good resume management system, but it could be improved to some extent. By having this feature, we can choose the correct candidates for interviews without wasting our time. The feedback system on candidates helps the next coming interviewer easily have a glance at the candidate skillset and proceed accordingly. This can help us going on a good level of interviews to hire candidates with the necessary skills.

Most of the candidates that apply for the position are not qualified and lack the experience. It would be beneficial if the candidates were rated based on their experience in the field. This would allow the recruiter or hiring manager to look at the top candidates for the position instead of reading over the under-qualified.

Overall from SmartRecruiters, it took a lot of time to be adjusted but after a while, you will find the scalability of SmartRecruiters is easy and can be maintained to catch up with the future needs. One note that I would put is that SmartRecruiters is not the best tool for customization hence if you are looking for more customization, SmartRecruiters might not be the one.

Feedback from candidates I have interviewed have had a positive experience with the process and found the application, submission, and progress to be a simple and efficient process along the way. Overall, I think this is enhanced by the ability of being able to email candidates directly from the platform and track conversations in one place.

SmartRecruiters is exceptionally valuable to me as an employer and it has been easy to post jobs and track candidates. Candidates are able to be more organized when uploading their documents by following the software's instructions where the process is made easy by this product. The process of applying the job is also not lengthy and tiring compared to other products I have used before.

In SmartRecruiters, you're able to create screening questions and rejection questions that completely block the candidate from submitting their application for the position. With other ATS, we've gotten a large volume of candidates, but the quality is typically lacking. In SmartRecruiters, we've received higher quality candidates and typically the people who are applying really want to work for our company. We've noticed an increase in quality.

When I was on the other side of the interviewing process, this level of transparency was not only reassuring for me as an applicant, but also confirmed to me as a prospective employee that the company truly does want to be enabling with insights to help everyone best have the needed context to act.
