Users have found that SocialFlow simplifies social media management by allowing them to post content on multiple platforms and centrally manage them. Reviewers appreciate the software's organization of posts and the ability to add photos and media. The broad overview of scheduled posts in one place has been beneficial, especially for teams with multiple people involved in scheduling. Being able to work across multiple platforms and create posts more efficiently has also been a positive experience for users.

This software has saved users time by allowing them to share content on several platforms in one place, eliminating the need to load and reload other platforms. The queueing and scheduling feature is helpful for maintaining an active social presence even when users are not in the office. It also provides insights on the best times to publish content, leading to increased reach and engagement. Having access to multiple channels in one place has been convenient for reviewers, enabling various team members to collaborate when needed.

Users have been able to plan and schedule social media posts in advance, resulting in consistent posting. Additionally, this software helps users generate content ideas and gain new followers on social media platforms. The ability to automate content scheduling and measure performance has been valuable for users, providing insights on optimal posting times and audience behaviors for content optimization.

While most users have had positive experiences with the software, some have encountered difficulties in staying organized as a team, leading them to revert to other methods of scheduling and coordination. However, overall, SocialFlow has proven effective in engaging followers, simplifying multi-site posting, and catering to specific business needs with its customization options and business acumen. It has been used by audience teams to directly communicate with their audience on multiple social media accounts, particularly benefiting startups.

Cons:

  1. Pricing could be more competitive: Some users have suggested that the pricing of the software could be improved and made more competitive, as they feel it does not provide a good value for the price.
  2. Buggy platform and outdated design: Users mention that the platform can be buggy at times, with posts going up unexpectedly. They also feel that the user interface is not sleek and could use some improvement in terms of design, as it looks outdated.
  3. Overwhelming dashboard and confusion about queues: Some users find the dashboard of the software overwhelming due to the multitude of colors and queues, making it difficult to train others to use. Additionally, there is confusion among users about the difference between queues.
  • Users recommend exploring and experimenting with the features of SocialFlow to become familiar with its capabilities.
  • Taking advantage of support and training resources is recommended to navigate difficulties and ensure effective use of the platform.
  • It is advised to monitor the performance of posts and messages closely and exercise caution when relying on the optimization tool, especially when managing multiple accounts.
  • SocialFlow is praised as a powerful tool for social media management with tracking abilities and an optimization feature.
  • However, some users mention that it may not be suitable for small businesses with a smaller audience size.

SocialFlow stacks up against others by :
1. Event registrations, participation and promotions, companies highlighting their sessions, speakers, and delegations of different countries drove the event-specific volumes
2. Using Twitter as the primary platform and mainly constituted mentions around registrations, participations, promotions of sessions/panels, and opinions on the same
3. Discussions around the event’s annual themes, the new ‘Davos Manifesto’ and posts expressing delight for being invited, participation confirmations, and comments on different sessions/panel promotions drove the positive coverage
4. During-Event and Post-Event periods saw companies shift their focus to highlight sessions and panel discussions aligned more toward business-driven themes
I give this rating as an outcome to understand competitor social strategy to improve strategic positioning. Drive improvement by benchmarking and serving to compete on content Identify trends, topics/themes, potential threats, etc. Improve campaigns by measuring and comparing audience reach, Interaction, etc. Measure engagement rate to analyze audience association. What themes/topics are generating higher engagement Insights to assist marketing teams in planning future campaigns
I give this rating as overall support for
Social footprint analysis to identify and benchmark the competitor's social presence.
Extraction of retrospective data from identified social channels.
Complex query building with defined subsets of keywords to gauge social buzz.
Analysis of historic datasets with a detailed classification that offered insights into the marketing efforts and messaging patterns.

We use SocialFlow for scheduling content on Facebook. We use it for all editorial that appears on our Facebook, letting it choose the best posting times based on its algorithm. We use the PlatForm as an additional social media manager, and rely on it for out-of-hours posting, and to give us as much reach visibility, and engagement as possible.
  • Posts without human input.
  • Monitors algorithms.
  • Easy to use interface.
  • It often posts the same story repeatedly, making the feed look amateurish and reducing impact.
  • It is impossible to get anything posted when we exactly want it to go live.
  • Often we have asked the support team for help and they deny there is any issue.
  • We often have to “wait and see” if content is published.
SocialFlow is good on paper but in my personal experience it is clunky, doesn’t do what you want it to, and their support team doesn’t take your issues seriously. I wouldn’t recommend this if you work on tight timeframes as it has a scattergun approach to posting on Facebook. I would like to think that my experiences are due to me not having thorough training, but I am not sure if this is the case.

  • It doesn’t post what we expect.
  • It posts things over and over again.
  • It’s not reliable for forward Planning.
  • Later and Buffer
I inherited SocialFlow at my new job. We used FocialFlow at my last employment but we moved to Buffer as it was more dynamic, cheaper, easy for larger teams to use, and had a better calendar function. The same can be said for Later, which is also superior to social flow in my experience.
I find the interface hard to comprehend, and I find it frustrating how the algorithm posts something repeatedly immediately after we have set something to post at a certain time. It’s nonsensical and makes the Facebook feed look spammy and unprofessional! Optimizing the content also seems to do absolutely nothing.
They don’t seem to understand the issues when we explain them.

SocialFlow is being used primarily by our audience team to create, edit, and publish posts to multiple social media accounts. It addresses the problem of how to communicate directly with our audience.
  • Super easy to post.
  • Also easy to edit.
  • Clunky.
  • Difficult to navigate.
It's well suited for media companies and other organizations of most sizes. For companies who choose to have a significant social media presence, it's fairly advantageous. It's capable of having multiple users and multiple accounts.

  • Allowed multiple team members to post.
  • Allowed for greater post quantity.
We've also evaluated HootSuite and Sprout Social, and we used both in the past. SocialFlow is superior in its content system for creating, editing, and publishing posts. It's ideal for a team of our size. The cost is fair. It was overall the best option in all of the categories we were looking for.

I use SocialFlow to help my clients optimize and measure/track how their social media messages connect with audiences across Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn. It gives a window into what messages most resonate with audiences because its algorithm determines the optimal time to distribute social posts. The measurement shows shares and click throughs, which helps inform future efforts and campaigns.
  • Unique algorithm does not just 'time' posts, it helps determine the optimal time for posts to be distributed. Its why all the major publishers like NYT, WSJ, Conde Nast, Mashable, etc. use SocialFlow to distribute its social content.
  • Dashboard gives insight into which posts perform best.
  • It's streamlined and simple and not overly or unnecessarily feature-laden.
  • I'd like to open up windows for more than one account/platform at time.
For brands that are diving into their own content marketing and thought leadership, and building up "owned" media platforms, SocialFlow is a great tool to build audience, manage distribution and give insight. They also just launched a LinkedIn capability which lets you increase engagement with a business audience and even target the LinkedIn audience by title, function, geography, etc.
  • Increased engagement
  • ROI
  • Efficiency
  • Transparency/data/insight
Hootsuite allows for timing and managing multiple accounts but it doesn't optimize -- simply 'timing' a tweet doesn't mean it's going at the right time. It's also kind of an awkward platform and I find the search tools confusing sometimes and clunky.
Big bang for buck. My clients like the results and the insights.

We trialed the product to promote our agency brand. We wanted to publish content, collect analytics, and simplify multi-site posting. SocialFlow's emphasis on per-client service made the relationship and goals very very easy to achieve. They met our communicating our hopes, goals & desires with tangible solutions backed with real statistics. Their products, especially the central one Crescendo, work as expected & increase the pleasure of sharing our brand through social media. The easy relationship assures us they'll listen as we our publicity needs change over time.
  • Easily accessible analytics
  • Web-based platforms ease access/setup

It's more suitable for for-profit institutions with a significant branding campaign (i.e. ad agencies for corporations) due to the level of enterprise-like power and inclination towards paid promotions.
