Accessing a specific computer for on premise installed applications not accessible by internet connection is an ideal use. Even accessing a file server to access files is very easy and protects the data better than simply making the server accessible by internet connection - Splashtop simplifies the connection and security of the data as well as the user login.
Using Splashtop for applications such as email is possible but not necessary with email applications built in web access and user security.

If you need to access your home or a business computer when you're not at that location, Splashtop is well suited for you. I have also used it to provide tech support for my business and my elderly father, when computer issues arise.

For us, Splashtop is vastly superior to Team Viewer. I find it useful for our situations. You are, of course, limited by the network connection so things like streaming a movie on remote computer isn't great -- but it is possible to at least see and scroll through.

Splashtop is great for remote desktop management within a company with lots of Windows desktops and servers and also to manage desktops for family members.
For one-off troubleshooting and configuration/upgrade scenarios, the Splashtop SOS feature is very helpful for when you don't want to permanently manage someone else's desktops and servers.

It's an ideal tool to support a hybrid work environment in which staff are not moving a system (probably a laptop) from home to work to home to work. Splashtop can be installed on a personal system, and one can have complete confidence that, in essence, the staff member is working on a company-owned computer for all tasks.

Great for working from home and helping others remotely. I have used it to give technical support to employees and family members and administer our business network while at home or on vacation. Can't think a time when it is not well suited.

Splashtop works great with simple remote computer access. If all I want to do is move a few things around it's great. If I want to deploy a new software program it seems to work as I wish. I can't actually say I find Splashtop lacking where I would consider something else. Keep up the great work on it.

Single monitor remote machine setups are the best for Splashtop. It does great with a single monitor. In my opinion, it is a real pain to use with 3+ monitor setups since you have to cycle through them in order instead of being able to visually select one or cycle back and forth.

I have yet to find an area that Splashtop was not suited for at least in my Splashtop usage with my clients. I have Clients that use it within there company to access their work computers from remote and all are pleased with it and some I brought over from the competition.

Splashtop is very well suited for remote support scenarios. It has a reasonably light footprint, however, provides all the necessary functionality required of such a remote access system.

As our clients are made to be weary of people remotely accessing their computers, features such as only allowing the end user to approve access and locking down in such ways helps ensure our users are protected from fraudulent access attempts.

Splashtop makes fixing minor issues easy. Sometimes I need a user to reset the browser and cache for a service/site to work properly. I can log in with Spalshtop and fix that quicker/easier than walking someone through it. Also allows to me to log in and clear printer spools for users. It's the little things, but Splashtop lets me do that.

In my position Splashtop is perfectly suited for my needs. Allows me to connect to remote workers, or those who work from home. I use it while in the office as well as if I am doing after hours support at home. If you have workers who are local but at a different address, also useful.

If you are supporting users just in the office you are in, obviously, it's not going to be a tool you will need.

Splashtop is successful at its intended purpose and does well in low bandwidth connectivity. The solution is functional and provides the necessary tools to remotely administrate devices or provide user support. The UI is primarily intuitive and offers little in the way of complexity. Our chief struggle was keeping up to date with patches on our remote workforce and reliably patching the client when off-network.
