Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

We moderate and reply to user comments and private messages, categorize by action needed, and occasionally use the tagging system
  • Simple, easy to use macro and action systems
  • Quick, simple-to-use, comprehensive search feature
  • Ability to filter pulled content
  • Being able to bulk-select content to action
  • There are times where applying an action won't automatically refresh a stream, making it seem as though the action didn't go through (but it did)
It seems to be very good for any type of social media moderation! I can't think of a specific scenario where it would be inappropriate to use

It was used on a National level by our corporate Social Media Coordinator as well as a local level for each of our properties. It helped coordinate messaging across all channels all in one place.
  • Social listening.
  • Scheduling and automation.
  • Metrics tracking.
  • Learning curve, there's a lot of options to run through, it's hard to know where to start.
  • Slow glitch fixes.
  • Tagging isn't as intuitive as other platforms.
If you are running social media for more than a dozen different accounts, like in property management, it's a solid choice to keep track of everything in one spot.

Sprinklr was used to track the social media accounts for our university. Me and my data supervisor were the primary users and we created dashboards for various content producers such that they could see how their posts were fairing for their audiences. We were able to track engagement with certain kinds of content and determine what the best strategy to optimize our content would be,
  • Track engagement across Instagram Video and Photos
  • Determine whether Instagram Stories, Video or Photos receive more engagement
  • Better understand what days of the week are optimal for us to post content
  • Sprinklr unfortunately does not allow for integration with Tableau or Excel. We had a bunch of different data management tools, so it was hard to juggle all of the various sources
  • Sprinklr can be limited in creating custom functions or tables
I think Sprinklr should be used for all large corporations who need an easy platform to conduct in-depth data analysis. The learning curve was quick and it was easy to create dashboards for other people in my department. I only used the social media tools though, so it would be hard to provide advice for other components of the Sprinklr keyboard.

Sprinklr is an excellent enterprise level social media tool which I've used for everything from publishing and scheduling content, engaging with our communities and creating custom listening dashboards that allow me to share knowledge across our company. It's especially useful as it's an all-in-one platform meaning that it allows different parts of the social program to work together under one program.
  • Social customer support
  • Customizing dashboards
  • Community management
  • Social care
  • Like most enterprise-level social media platforms, the learning curve is steep
  • There are so many options that it can become overwhelming.
  • It's pretty expensive relative to other tools.
Sprinklr is an excellent all-in-one enterprise-level social media program and if you're serious about social, it's definitely worth checking out. It is absolutely one of the most comprehensive and useful social media platforms out there and it makes reporting, doing social customer care and publishing content easy once you're ramped up on it.

It is being used for community management and scheduling of paid social media ads. It is also being used for social monitoring and social listening for research purposes.
  • The ability to have all your social media accounts in one place.
  • The ability to have multiple users and define their roles and restrictions within the platform.
  • The ease of use as it is very user-friendly for our global counterparts.
  • The API is not always up to date. We have seen other platforms integrate social channels and integrations with quicker speed to market.
  • The reporting is not always accurate as we tend to see different performance metrics in native platforms.
  • Users get locked out and logged out at odd/various times, and this can cause loss of unsaved work and frustration.
This is great for companies who have a heavy social media presence in the form of community management. It is also great for companies that have brands that are interested in learning about what people are saying about their brands/competitors through the social listening platform. The data widgets are easy to use and are very vibrant and tell a good story.

Sprinklr is NOT good to be leveraged as a paid social marketing platform as uploading content and reporting on it is not simplistic or accurate. There are other more robust tools that have a bigger edge in the paid social space.

  • Their biggest benefit is also their hardest challenge – the product is super flexible. The good news is there are only two aspects of the platform you can't "rewind", so attributes you set up in the beginning are less likely to have impact down the line, less reporting impacts.
  • The mgmt. team is great, I asked for them to connect us with other companies in the area and they choose to put on a mini half day summit, in fact we hosted it
  • If there isn't a work around, you can count on them looking at how they can make this a viable feature for the greater whole and it will release...eventually.
  • They need to learn their own product, not everyone knows the ins and outs so sometimes you have to wait for an answer, but the turnaround is usually quick
  • The product is still maturing, for example they rolled out tiered approvals but doesn’t include parallel approvals or a “review only” option. With that said they are submitting all our requests into the product queue, so I’m sure it’s just a matter of time.
  • Sharing the product roadmap and updates and how it will benefit our implementation and goals.
  • They are very responsive, I genuinely feel they want us to succeed...it’s almost like they want it more than us, kind of creepy at times.
  • I have had a very in depth conversation with their CEO, he understands the future of social and is thinking way ahead of the curve, it was like taking a journey to the future when he told me his vision about customers owning their support model

Sprinklr provides realtime listening and monitoring that is leveraged in reports and actions across departments. This enables customer support and immediate action as well as trend monitoring and alerts.
  • Personal service. While a ticket system is in place, I can always reach a point person in sales or account management for quick answers and help. This is very important as not everyone can be a platform expert and sometimes a quick aswer will save time vs doing self learning.
  • Passion for their customers and strong commitment to the relationship
  • Nice UI
  • Small refinements (for example, ability to exclude specific single posts from listening reporting or faster system learning based on manual tagging), to existing functionality on the listening module will help users get the most out of the tool
Sprinklr is easy to use. It has an intuitive UI and nice reporting.

  • Great support from the team. Both technical (revolving around bugs) and in the form of training.
  • The product is very nimble and the team very responsive in working on the features roadmap based on our suggestions, business needs, etc.
  • If you are a power user, Sprinklr slices information in very useful ways. The learning curve can be higher than other social media management tools, but as a result you get more granular data
  • Sprinklr is an "immature" product, in that it is fast evolving and very nimble. This makes it a product with a lot of potential but also quite a few bugs and data inconsistencies.
  • The interface isn't the cleanest. Some features and functionalities are hard to find, even after using the product for a while. UI could be improved.
  • Analysts may need to dig into metrics to understand what Sprinklr data from the dashboards really represents. Sprinklr should be more explicit with its methodology so as to clear confusions.
How much of an automation process do you need? How experienced will the end users be? How granular do you want data to be for reporting?

  • Scales very well. You can have a number of users with custom permission levels.
  • The social widgets feature is very powerful and useful once you get the hang of it.
  • The digital asset library is a huge value added component.
  • The approval process for reviewing messages prior to posting on social channels is clean and simple, and very easy to do from the mobile app.
  • The message template feature makes it easy to ensure all users and managers of social channels have consistent and up-to-date messaging. Allows us to be very responsive.
  • The queues and workflow setup makes it very easy to assign messages and monitor how we respond on social.
  • The old UI still exists in certain areas, though the new UI is much nicer & faster.
  • The Android app is a little buggy and the lack of an iPad app is disappointing.
  • The learning curve can be a little steep because of the many features so it does take some perseverance to really master all the capabilities (reminds me of learning guitar, it take practice, practice, practice).
Because it is a very robust system, it is worth the time to learn all the features that it can offer. I have been able to streamline content gathering and content development using Sprinklr, and we have been able to create Facebook and social promotions, widgets, etc... that have taken our social presence to a new level.

  • Sprinklr allows larger companies to streamline their social media efforts, grow business functions through organized and governance-centric functionality, and most importantly study and analyze the effect of your social media efforts on business objectives.
  • The platform is highly flexible and customizable. By comparison, both Sprout and Radian6 feel a lot more constrained. For example, we went through many workflow design iterations until we found a workflow that works perfectly for our team. This was a huge advantage for us, even if there was a significant investment in time. It took almost 5 months of constant iteration to get the workflow we wanted, but that investment was worth it in terms of operation efficiency down the line.
  • Scalability: We grew our team from two to 9 relatively quickly. It was quite easy to manage assignment of incoming messages to individual team members and subsequently manage the entire process to message archival across a large tea,. While other products also have team functionality, this is a particular strength of the Sprinklr platform.
  • Additionally, I have been very happy with the governance aspects. It's easy to build in approval workflows such that outbound messages are routed to me for approval before they are posted.
  • There are still some user-friendliness issues, however those seem to be getting worked out with the release of a new version.
  • The new user interface (which was just rolled out) solves some usability issues by simplifying message classifications and allowing us to do more self-service customizations. In the previous version, we were more reliant on Sprinklr to build out some of the dashboard customizations we needed. Things are definitely improving in this once problematic area.
