TrustRadius Insights are summaries of user sentiment data from TrustRadius reviews and, when necessary, 3rd-party data sources. Have feedback on this content? Let us know!

Users commonly recommend Swrve for its ease of use, excellent support throughout the integration process, and the ability to increase key performance indicators (KPIs) and leverage a variety of features. They suggest involving developers early on to explore the possibilities of the software beyond messaging and A/B testing. Additionally, users recommend allowing ample time to familiarize oneself with the platform before using it in a real-world setting. It is worth noting that cost may not be a determining factor when deciding whether to use Swrve.

We are using Swrve for our mobile app analytics and communications; mostly focused on push notifications. It enables us to communicate with our app users, via pushes and in-app messaging. Swrve is used by the Digital Marketing Team and the Technology team.
  • Easy user interface, with a great WYSIWYG for content creation.
  • Simple implementation.
  • Integration with Oracle Eloqua
  • Ability to customize the main dashboard
Swrve is a very user-friendly solution for mobile app communication needs. Thein-app communication templates make creating content and messages very quick and easy to do.
  • Our app usage and engagement has increased since implementing Swrve.
  • We solved a major business need of giving users real time push alerts for important account actions.
  • Increasing our communication channels and focusing on a more holistic cross-channel strategy led to an increase in email success also.
Localytics' Analytics interface was more simple to use, but we chose Swrve primarily for the messaging capabilities and the analytics were a bonus. We found Swrve's messaging to be far superior to Localytics and really benefitted from the Eloqua integration so that we could control all our communications from the same platform.

We used Swrve for light analytics, segmentation, CRM implementation of email, CRM implementation of serving versions of in-game configurations to players.
  • Setting up and managing multivariate tests
  • Applying segments/cohorts set up for one campaign or test to another
  • Serving different config data files to different player segments
  • The web interface is a bit clunky
  • Some of the SDK quirks lead to difficult implementation if you're doing anything non-standard
  • It's not cheap
If you're looking for mobile segmentation, CRM, multivariate testing, then Swrve is the way to go. It's not a great analytics platform, but it's improving on that front.
  • One of our early titles was entirely client authoritative and Swrve allowed us to send configs to different players
  • We were able to deliver proof-of-concept on multivariate tests to developer partners quickly
  • We had an easy push-notification management service built in at not-too-steep a price
There's some overlap with other products, but Swrve's segmentation and push management are its key differentiators.
