Overall Tableau provides an unmatched variety of features and is the gold standard in data visualization and analytics. It streamlines reporting, provides templates and cool features such as heat maps, and maintains up-to-date dashboards that are easily shareable and manipulated to satisfy various business needs. The pros far outweigh the cons.

In terms of ease of use, the Tableau Desktop is an excellent choice. It's one of my favorite features of Tableau Desktop to be able to create custom views and use sets and parameters. It has online and desktop versions. It allows us to access data from both on-premises and cloud-based applications. It's easy to use and has mobile connectivity to access our reports anywhere. It is simple to connect to databases, and it provides drag-and-drop functionality for the creation of diagrams. For confidential data, it provides a user-friendly interface that is easy to use.

The solution’s functionality is not limited by the graphic information representation; there is also a heap of work under the surface. Indeed, the application makes requests to the cloud and relational databases, spreadsheets and OLAP cubes for the required statistical data, and then parses, categorizes and correlates it to generate a comprehensive analytical report. Tableau has both desktop and online versions, which enables access to software data in the cloud or on premises.

Tableau Desktop has an excellent user interface. It has all the essential elements to synthesize actions and use. It has advanced components to improve our company’s structure and make it easier. Communication and visualization of trends have been beneficial. It is possible to create a table or a graph. It’s very customizable, and I love visual learning. The plan’s implementation took some time and provided little support. That being said, the effort was worth it.

Tableau is very good at what it does, however, what it is able to do is very limited. If you want a simple graph or a simple data table then you are set. If you want one of the beautiful intricate dashboards that you see on the web, then you will have to have nearly 50 sheets populating data or graphics that are then overlaid in a dashboard. This means there are so many points at which it can fail and is a nightmare to maintain.

Tableau is one of the best visualization tools out there, and I would recommend it to anyone. It's an excellent tool for data analysis and data insights. It can help you tell a better story with your data and make better business decisions. As a whole, it has all of the tools you need to analyze and put your data to use quickly.

From creating complex visualizations to generating stories, Tableau is the perfect tool for data analysts to consolidate meaningful data insights and present them to respective stakeholders. Integrating it with Python or R allows users to perform preprocessing steps and create visualizations using the drop-down options. Lastly, Tableau works very well with large datasets.

It's a robust tool with a lot of features and the potential to grow even more. Once you get used to it it's hard for you to use anything else. With that being said, there are a lot of other better tools economically. This is, as of now, the best out there.

Tableau can be quick to set up a new data source and create quick drag and drop graphs for reporting use. It contains many advanced features that require training and knowledge with the software, these advanced features have the potential for much more complex data analysis and programming. Tableau offers a large amount of free training online and live classes.

It is a great tool if you want to do data analysis, draw insights from the data by loading it up directly from some database like SQL. It can help you to present all the data in a better storytelling way which can help to make better business decisions. You can even make your own queries that fits your needs to make data show up on dashboards in a custom way. This can help the business and client to do future planning and make better decisions.

Tableau is a great all round product which delivers exactly what I would expect it to. It is generally easy to use for the majority of the reports and dashboards. However, it fails to get a 10 because the UI is not very intuitive and using some of the advanced features is tricky and requires training.

It is a good tool for creating beautiful visualizations and sharing dashboards. It does offer a variety of features and also making interactive dashboards. It is easy to learn and create custom visualizations really fast. It does offer good API connectivity to gather data. But it lacks the structure for data cleaning and processing.

Overall, I would say Tableau Desktop could be a very useful tool in some situations like what I mentioned in my case but it could also be no that useful and unnecessary expensive option in some other situations. It boiled down what skillsets and legacy tools that you already have before this decision.
