Tableau is currently being used in several different departments to display trending data related to patient safety and status, financial and claims highlights, tracking patterns related to inpatient flow through the hospital. The flexibility of data sources and display options had made it a popular tool for analysts in financial and clinical areas.

It is widely being used by my organization before making any business decisions. Complete Analysis is done with the banking data provided, as you can import data directly from the database management systems like SQL, do data cleaning and then visualize and extract a lot of insights from the data which is helpful to higher management and client to come to common grounds and make better business decisions. Also the data can be presented using its nice storytelling feature.

Tableau Desktop is used by the BI team to create business dashboards which are then consumed by the rest of the organisation. It is a useful tool and makes dashboarding very simple and easy. It addresses the problem organisations have with viewing how their business is performing through data as well as providing insight into management.

We used Tableau [Desktop] to create dashboards of our product marketing strategy's outcome and analyze their performance. In one dashboard we would narrow down on 3-4 metrics to track their performance, ingest the data in excel sheets, prepare the data and then create visualization dashboards. The graphics of Tableau [Desktop] and ease of use made it easier for everyone in the team understands the dashboard and provides good insights.

Tableau [Desktop] is used across the entire organization and in my specific case, I am using it for quarterly monitoring. It has been a fairly good tool to use once you have the graphs set up and for monitoring you just need to provide the data in the requested format to update.

Tableau Desktop is used across the entire organization and is also used to provide clients with insights. There is one department that creates and manages dashboards/views for the entire company. Tableau is not the only BI tool the company uses but is probably the most widely used.

It was tested as one of the candidates for choosing the Business Intelligence solution. major needs we were expecting to be addressed were the ability to produce BI reports, dashboards on the fly and be able to provide real-time data and stats to our large base of users. Another important aspect was the cost of implementation and usage.

Tableau touches every department within our organization, and also serves as the analytics platform for customer-facing data analysis needs. Clinical data, financial data, human capital metrics, and productivity data are all visualized and understood using Tableau Desktop. Tableau Desktop is able to blend data from multiple sources, making it a robust analytics platform for companies that have a need to tie underlying data together from disparate systems in order to understand trends and opportunities for improvement.

Tableau Desktop is being operated by our analytics team, and the reports are being used by the leadership team, the marketing team and the sales teams. This has a lot [of] useful features that [have] become handy for multiple stakeholders, for a variety of use cases. For instance, one can get live reports, notifications, filters, various views etc. And drawing insights out of this also becomes easy.

Tableau Desktop has been used in the entire organization. It is a very important tool to create concise and clear visualizations. I was able to get started on using it right away with minimal initial training. Tableau Desktop is an intuitive tool, doesn't require coding and the users can become proficient in a short period of time.

This program is being used as a program for sharing and distributing charts and graphics between departments. We especially like how many options it gives you for customizing the charts. Like a more functional pivot table. It helps our users share their data in a method that is user friendly and easy for end users to interpret.

We are using it in the department of computer science and engineering for analytics in R&D. Drag and drop facilities make this tool easy to use.
With few clicks you can add your data from cloud to the platform for the analysis part. This tool allows you to find the granule details and insight of the data which is huge in nature. Further different charts makes the presentation of analysis more effective and clear.

Tableau Desktop is used in conjunction with Tableau Server to provide reporting and analytic content to end users across the company. Desktop is primarily used as a development vehicle by IT to share via on-prem server. However, there is some use of desktop by power users in the business to create ad-hoc analytics.

Tableau Desktop is being used across the organization as our main Dashboard reporting tool. We, as department create tableau reports, which are then accessed and used by the organization as a whole. The main problem it addresses is providing accurate, on-time reporting on our KPIs, which users can filter on to just get the data they need.

Tableau Desktop is our default basic data visualization and exploration tool when we need to examine data visually.

Before we hard-code our data and software like Python or R, we do our exploration in Tableau Desktop. It's used across the organization and we find a very helpful for understanding the basic parameters of a data set and look for obvious anomalies.

Tableau Desktop is being used across the organization, and it's specifically being used to give the insights to the sales representatives so they can target customers effectively and create revenue for the organization. Our team made dashboards on the renewal opportunities and the sales team focused on specific customers by following the dashboard and making it their tool for daily usage.

Tableau Desktop is being used by our entire department across multiple agencies. It is our standard enterprise data analytics solution. We have so many silo solutions within our department for data analytics and business intelligence. Based on the department OCIO's evaluation, Tableau Desktop dashboards became the standard for the department and all agencies will migrate their dashboards to Tableau Desktop progressively.

The whole organization is using Tableau as a front end. We are trying to have updated insights to accelerate decisions. It is no longer enough nor it is feasible in the long term to have people working constantly on excel graphics and PowerPoint presentations. Tableau is a good way to have reliable insights and set the work efforts where they should be.

Tableau Desktop is being used across the organization for data analytics and visualization. In my area, we use Tableau Desktop to track program and project progress, resource utilization, demand and supply, estimation, and forecasting. I've been using Tableau Desktop for four years, and it helps me a lot in improving the efficiency of the team and productivity and to keep an eye on resource demand. What I like about Tableau Desktop are its frequent updates based on user feedback and great community support for query resolution and learning. You can connect almost every data source with it, be it .csv, flat file, SQL, cloud platform, or another source. Tableau Desktop provides great flexibility of joins and blending of data and easy-to-create visualization.
