The Tableau Desktop's support team has been very helpful and tend to response very quickly. After all you have paid very premium price for the product and it goes to the services. This makes using the tool much easier for these who doesn't have such experience to get help quickly.

I have not had any interactions with the support team at Tableau, but have interacted with the account team. They were very helpful in getting me signed up for the training I needed to get started with the tool. I attended their conference a few years ago and highly recommend it.

Great sales support when purchasing, but could have used some post-purchase support when it came to setup, integrations, and figuring out what might be out of the box that we could leverage instead of trying to do everything for the first time.

We have required almost zero technical support over the entire duration of using Tableau. On the very few occasions that we did have to engage support teams, the responses were very fast, professional, and helpful. Tableau uses a Salesforce Customer Community to serve as the primary support / case management platform, empowering users with an ability to quickly submit new support tickets and check the status of existing tickets.

The Tableau Desktop support team is very responsive. When I have a question I usually open a ticket and they answer back within 24 hours. I communicate with them via email and when there is a more complicated issue we have an online session to clarify the problem or find the solution.

Direct support from Tableau is on par with any major vendor, but it is not top shelf. There is also very good community support. I would say I've generally relied more on the community postings than using Tableau support directly. I generally get answers from the community faster than I do from support.

Tableau Desktop is fairly quick to get back to us when we have questions. Also there is an extensive knowledge base on the Internet, both by Tableau and by the users. We often Google the questions we have to get the answer, and contact support in only the most extreme cases when nothing else works.

The Tableau account representatives are always available to assist and bring in any supports as needed. There are many training videos and user forums that also provide tremendous knowledge on how to use and build data analytics and dashboards easily.

Account management seems to be a bit slow. Invoicing etc. takes a lot of effort from us, and makes it feel like this is not a product that is good for the entire enterprise. I have raised this and I am expecting different results in the future - good indication that this will happen.

I still haven't found something that stumped me for long. The company materials are first-rate and their seems to be a natural affinity among the professionals using the product. It seems there are many who want to help those that are following them onto the platform. I've never noticed any condescension to new users or obvious questions in the forums or my personal exchanges.

We experienced good and fast response from the account manager, and Tableau employees are open and enthusiastic to answer questions on the technical forum.

My team has had a good experience so far with Tableau's support. They always responded in reasonable time frame. they always highlighted if a particular feature was not available in the version of Tableau we were using and recommended a later version where the feature was available. This saved us lot of R&D times, we would have put to figure things by ourselves.
