It really depends on what is your background. If you already know other tools to use, learning the specific interface of Tableau Online is not saving you any time and you have to dig out the specific feature. But if you don’t have coding background, this is easier to use than learning to code.

Based on comments from our clients, I awarded it this grade. Non-technical customers frequently compliment us on the ease with which they can utilize Tableau Online. Usability is rarely a source of contention amongst our customers. Few complaints have come from me as a user of our internal products.

From an end user perspective Tableau Online is overall very easy to navigate once you get used to it, my only complaint is that when expanding or contracting a graph, the "plus" and "minus" on the bottom left is sometimes hidden, and should always be visible. From a builder perspective, it can take some getting used to but the sheer depth of customization makes it all worthwhile.

After the initial set-up and brief training, Tableau Online is very easy to use for regular users that mainly view dashboards and make business decisions based on the presented information. The learning curve for contributors is certainly higher i.e. it takes more time to onboard people and get them familiarized with Tableau [Online]. I've been part of other software implementations where the software is more intuitive for new starts.

I gave it this rating primarily based on feedback from our clients that use it. We have many non-technical users that often comment on the ability to navigate easily through the Tableau Online interface. We don't get many complaints from our users in terms of usability. As a user myself for our internal products, I've also had few complaints.

As a user, I find that Tableau Online is a great asset for the organization. It's a bit challenging at first to create reports but for the consumers of the report, it's simply delightful. Even the people who were completely dependent on others for a simple data point are not empowered to do it on their own with a few clicks or using the 'Ask Data'.

It’s somewhat hard to navigate through its menu system structure if you know what you’re looking for, but don’t know where it’s stored. It navigates like a file explorer so at least everyone can understand it. The dashboards you are able to create can be as custom as you want them. But, it requires that you truly take time to invest in what you want to see and what you deem important

The user interface is clean and modern with very quick accessibility to most of the common actions. The flow of actions is simple to understand and follow to build up any data analytics models or visualisation you need.

We have been able to pull in a large amount of data easily and create easy to understand dashboards, features that many other tools are not capable of or have a difficult time doing. It can provide reporting for a variety of different levels of needs-from analytical to executive. Once set up, it is very intuitive and can easily be modified for any audience and allows you to get to specific data points.

It does most things right. The ability to sift through so much data is vital. However, some of the filtering buttons can be finicky at times. Also, the ability to find the most up to date reports has been a struggle. Maybe that’s on our tableau admin though. Overall, happy!

Even though the interface is not that good looking, It is pretty intuitive and easy to use. You also have tons of tutorial articles and videos created by professionals in the community to access for consumption. It would, of course, be a bonus if there was automated onboarding for the whole experience.

Online it is very easy to use and I think that it is very convenient that I can open it up in my browser from anywhere, on any device. However, the mobile experience is not the best, and not very easy to read for most reports. Charts are fine, but spreadsheets are not ideal for reading on mobile.

On a scale of 1-10, I'd rate Tableau Online's overall usability as a 10. I've learned how to use this program, and I've trained others on how to use this program and platform. There has never been something that we could not figure out. It's so simple to use, I've shown someone who is not even familiar with the program or our data learn how to navigate the platform.

The ability to manipulate data is another one big reason why I prefer Tableau over its alternatives. There are more options to visualize data on Tableau, which makes it very user-friendly. Overall, from my experience, Tableau gives the best service and features to gather, manipulate and visualize data.
