Ok [in my experience,] Talkdesk has had numerous outages and technical issues throughout the 6 years we have been on board with them. [In my opinion,] they are slow to resolve issues and support requests and refer you to the knowledge base way too much, instead of just resolving the issue expediently.

Talkdesk has a cleaner interface than Zendesk Talk and provides better usability, all the menus and options are easily reachable from the main screen and you don't need to navigate too much to find what you need.

Talkdesk is a strong alternative as compared to other cloud-based platforms, especially for an operation more focused on a plug-and-play solution that offers more advanced features while still being easy to use and understand for new customers.

Talkdesk really seems focused on delivering cutting-edge features for the modern call center. Talkdesk is constantly releasing new features that are both valuable and time-saving. It has been great watching the platform grow over the last few years. We cannot wait to see what new features Talkdesk plans to release.

Talkdesk solved an issue we were experiencing with our prior provider, that was predominantly related to uptime and technical issues. The technical support issues with our prior provider were severe enough that we had to contract an outside technical support firm on retainer to be available to assist with agent issues. Prior to retaining that firm, our supervisors and agents were spending an inordinate amount of time troubleshooting agent issues without sufficient guidance.

Talkdesk is a bit easier to use and it had the HIPAA and security features we needed in order to support our customers according to our agreements. We liked Zendesk but we couldn't reach an agreement. [Additionally,] Talkdesk is easier to use.

We were using RingCentral before making the switch. RingCentral works fine for a call center type of environment but didn't offer much in regards to setting up an actual call flow that would ring the agent who's been available the longest. It was more of a "ring everyone and whoever gets it, gets it" kind of setup.

Talkdesk was a lot cheaper than all of the alternatives and the level of features that they provided combined with the time it would take to go live made it an easy choice to choose Talkdesk over the heavier competitors.

Talkdesk is easier to manage and has a major advantage that is a native connection with our future CRM (Salesforce) solution. The fact that our agents are VPN and extra software free is also an advantage. They just need Google Chrome to start working on their personal or corporate computer. Right now we're going through some improvements in our solution to match our needs, and it's been a tough but rewarding path with mutual learning.
