TapClicks is a versatile platform that is widely used across organizations for various purposes. One key use case is in the Client Services department, where it provides 24/7 login level advertising performance reporting for clients. By consolidating advertising performance data from different platforms and generating visually appealing reports, TapClicks saves both time and effort for the department while delivering a great reporting experience to clients. Its integration with popular service providers like Facebook Insights, Google, Twitter, and others further enhances its capabilities, providing custom data visualization and reporting to advertisers.

Another important use of TapClicks is as a digital dashboard to provide comprehensive data to clients about their digital campaigns. This eliminates the need for custom development or manual report pulling, resulting in cost savings. In addition, the platform increases customer retention by allowing clients to see real-time campaign performance and monitor advertising campaign performance across various channels. By showcasing aggregated data sets into a single dashboard, TapClicks helps clients gain insights, manage goals, and make informed decisions about their marketing strategies.

TapClicks serves as a valuable tool for sales and executive teams as well. It offers a centralized hub for viewing client marketing analytics, simplifying the process of accessing important information. Furthermore, TapClicks streamlines communication between departments by providing a single place for all client service reporting needs. The platform's ability to automate reporting tasks frees up time for fulfillment teams, enhancing efficiency and productivity.

Overall, TapClicks has proven to be instrumental in addressing the reporting and analytical needs of businesses. Its user-friendly interface and comprehensive features enable users to capture insights, optimize campaigns, monitor performance across multiple platforms, and deliver branded reports to clients. With its ability to consolidate data sources, provide real-time monitoring, and offer holistic perspectives on online presence, TapClicks is an invaluable asset for organizations striving to make data-driven decisions and achieve marketing success.

Customizable Dashboards: Users have found the customizable dashboards of TapClicks easy to set up and manage, with multiple reviewers stating this as a positive aspect. They appreciate being able to export and modify the dashboards as needed, providing flexibility in visualizing data.

Import Wizard Feature: The Import Wizard feature has been highly valued by users for its ability to include custom data points in reports. After a short learning curve, users have been able to import data on a weekly basis for comprehensive reports that showcase both marketing trends and business results. Several reviewers have mentioned this as a significant advantage.

Ability to Manage Client Groups and Clusters: The ability to manage client groups and clusters within TapClicks has been considered vital by users for reporting purposes. They find it easy to organize clients according to their company structure using the offered structure of business units, groups of client groups, and client groups. This feature has received positive feedback from multiple reviewers.

Delays in data parsing: Some users have experienced significant delays, with data parsing taking a full day instead of the desired 30 minutes. This has caused frustration and hindered their ability to analyze and make timely decisions based on the data.

Issues with dashboard aggregates: Several reviewers have encountered a long-standing issue where the dashboard displays compounded aggregates instead of the correct totals for Facebook and Twitter likes. This discrepancy has led to confusion and undermined the accuracy of their reporting.

Lack of customization options: Many users have mentioned that they desire simpler instructions and more flexibility in customizing reports. They find the platform to be complicated and not user-friendly for both basic users and admins. The inability to easily tailor reports to their specific needs has limited their ability to extract meaningful insights from the data.

Users commonly recommend the following:

  1. Before diving into the software, it is important to take trainings or some sort of TAP academy lesson. This helps in getting familiar with the software as there is a lot to learn and it can be overwhelming.
  2. It is recommended to check the marketplace beforehand and ensure that the software meets your business needs. Testing all functionalities before committing to purchase is also advised to make sure it suits all your requirements.
  3. To ensure smooth performance, it is essential to have enough bandwidth to handle the number of clients on the dashboard. If needed, consider terminating clients to free up memory space.

TapClicks is being used to provide Paid Media Campaign Performance and Delivery reporting to our clients. We are an advertising agency and run campaigns on MediaMath, DBM, Adwords, Bing, etc. This replaced a manual process that was very labor intensive.
  • Easy implementation. I had the dashboard up and running, ready for client facing deployment during my free trial without any support.
  • Easy management. Very little training is required to be able to manage the tool.
  • API Library. Very robust library of available services.
  • Service support. Some services aren't fully implemented and may not be fully available in the Dashboard concepts (i.e. heat mapping international delivery via MediaMath).
  • Custom services. This isn't very intuitive and could use a user experience release.
For Mid to Small Sized Agencies, this is a great tool. Rather than having to develop a dashboard, you can plug and play this service with little or no effort.

We use TapClicks for our internal reports, as well as reports we send to clients. The ability to have our clients log in so they can review their metrics in real time has proved to be a very useful tool. We use it across our entire organization and I would say the problem that it best addresses is its ability to be a single point of entry for all our data.
  • Their customers support is superb, any question you have is quickly answered.
  • They're open to new ideas and feedback from my use of their product. I've even seen them implement an idea I had which was really cool.
  • It's user friendly and fairly easy to use and navigate through. The ability to control what information is used and not used gives us the ability to show our clients exactly what they want.
  • I'd say they could work at implementing their product with more vendors. They have a ton available, I wouldn't say this is a fault or negative point, but the more people they work with and plug into the better.
TapClicks is well suited if you work with multiple vendors and need to pull all your data into one concise dashboard and report. It would be less suited if your vendors are not currently able to plug into TapClicks. The problem this solved for us was that it took a bunch of reports that we were sending clients, and consolidated them down to one report.
