What I mainly admire approximately Tealium Customer Data Hub is its agnosticity, flexibility, and widespread integrations. These capabilities make it easy for me to connect with different advertising technologies and gain precious insights into target market conduct. Tealium Customer Data Hub AudienceStream CDP has made my task less difficult and greater efficient.
  • The Audience stream CDP the attributes and Profile stitching very good compare with other leading CDP specifically the Badges , creating of the segment as well very simple and efficient.

Tealium Customer Data Hub is great for situations where you want to collect data from a front end data layer and then route it to multiple data tools, or if you need the ability to transform the values collected before sending. There is a tremendous amount of customizability. It has also been good for tag management of marketing/advertising tags/pixels, but could use a little improvement with regards to putting many tags on the same page. If your situation requires a lot of complexity to the marketing tags, it is still very possible to do with Tealium Customer Data Hub, but could be less complicated. Luckily, Tealium Customer Data Hub's support crew is excellent and really will partner with us and help us succeed.

Tealium Customer Data Hub has been useful for assisting a shift to server-side tagging within the organization and having a central place to coordinate customer data between various platforms. Additionally, having privacy features in tune with the needs of an organization in a highly regulated industry is a crucial portion of our integration.

The primary challenge for our business is the education of our product benefits and how it works. We started very simply learning how much content customers needed in order to buy, and following the data became more granular in order to understand specifically what content they needed. From there, we developed personalized journeys which identified what content customers had and hadn't seen, and using personalization; we're able to direct customers to the next step through personalized journeys. The 2nd challenge is retention; having acquired customers, we needed to keep them engaged and identify when they would potentially lapse. Customer Hub has also been an enormous competitive advantage here as we identified segments that were previously invisible to us and are now able to trigger activity to communicate at pivotal moments and lengthen and strengthen our customer relationships.

It started for us with data collection and finding a way to bring all of our tagging into a simple, optimized solution that aggregated all of the data that we were trying to collect and it grew from there. At this point, we have now grown in our uses with Tealium and are using the event stream API hub for even more data and information.
  • Simple tag management that is tough to beat. So many solutions that are incredibly simple to setup and gather data for.
  • Security around the data is key and Tealium excels in this area.
  • The speed impact of the tag setup is key to optimizing and allowing our web properties to run more effectively, which is a better experience for the end user.
  • It is expensive when compared to other options, but you are going to get what you pay for.
  • They have made strides in their customer service and support but I would still love just a little more. Overall, still very impressive.
  • Predictive modeling is a little wonky
There is still no other option that comes close to the effectiveness and scope that Tealium can deliver. We have looked into several other companies and options and still feel comfortable that this is the best and most cost effective solution on the market. And while it does cost more than some cheaper options, they just won't provide the value, support, and resources that are in place here to help you succeed. We highly recommend it!

We use Tealium Customer Data Hub's client-side iQ Tag Management and server-side EventStream to help solve the following business problems:
- Attribution (which marketing channels are bringing us visitors and how do those channels contribute to conversions?)
- On-site activity (what do visitors do on our website, what do the search for, where do they navigate, how do they flow from entry to checkout?)
- Conversion Funnel (what happens from the entry page to the exit page?)
- UX/UI opportunities (What changes should we make to offer the best possible experience?)
- Content improvements (Can we identify opportunities to offer better content, better product descriptions, etc.?)

With Tealium, we can fully customize the type of data we collect, and we can test that the data looks good before we use it.




  • Tealium is HIGHLY customizable. We changed systems which caused duplicate order numbers to pass to Adobe Analytics which were then promptly rejected. With Tealium, we were easily able to modify the order numbers with a leading alphanumeric character to solve the issue.
  • EventStream makes it very easy to validate our data. Reporting from an affiliate seemed broken, so for the data we sent the affiliate, we sent the same data to a Google Doc to see that solve for the discrepancies we suspected.
  • Tealium provides excellent support. We spent months trying to identify why there was a gap in our data. We could tell that some transactions were not included in our analytics. Our Tealium Customer Care Manager suggested that I open a ticket. A few hours later, they identified the issue recommended a solution.
  • Tealium has pre-made tags for the most popular partners such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Facebook, and more. Those tags are easy to install, but often require customizations.
  • Tealium Customer Data Hub is powerful, but it has a significant learning curve. Users with JavaScript experience, developers (with a solid understanding of browser Dev Tools), and technical minded people will learn it more quickly.
  • Some of the documentation seems lacking. My biggest complaint is that the documentation may explain things, but often is missing clear examples. If I had some clear examples, I could possibly avoid opening tickets for tech support.
Over the years, I've heard recommendations to use Google Tag Manager because it's free. This is true, but I always counter with this: Tealium's tech team offers PHENOMENAL support. It's absolutely top notch. When we run into issues, Tealium is outstanding in helping us to find solutions, offer guidance, share industry knowledge and best practices, and to assure that we get our issues resolved. Another clear advantage is that Tealium allows us to collect data on the server-side (which I understand that GTM does not) this may become more important in the future as cookies tend to be going away. Finally, Tealium allows us to customize our analytics far beyond free tools such as GTM.

I use TiQ and EventStream to implement tracking in Openbank's sites and mobile apps. One of my main focuses is to ensure there is a unified tracking deployment on all these digital assets.

We use the customer data hub (mainly Tealium IQ and Tealium event stream) to colelct data about the users behavior on the main webpages and apps. Since mora that 5 years ago, the company selected Tealium and it was a great decision. We use IQ to collect data as usual, and event stream to get info in real time about the users interactions. In addition, event stream could be a great tool to validate implementations.

We use Tealium for managing and governing client-side and server-side analytics tracking and marketing technologies tags. Tealium acts as the key strategic component for deploying most of our tags and tracking solutions across multiple sites and mobile apps.

We have a unique setup that we need to customize a lot of audience and customer data for our clients. With these custom audiences and events we're able to push to other third party platforms with direct integrations (even custom scripts we've created) to safely pass data. We are only scratching the surface of the tools capabilities and have a lot of the roadmap where Tealium Customer Data Hub is the bridge over our gaps.

It's an excellent tool for tag implementation and customer experience analysis. It is very robust and versatile. It provides out-of-the-box solutions and customization options, making your analytics implementation easy and organized. We also use Tealium as part of our privacy and consent compliance infrastructure, since it is directly connected to our data capture.

To increase the recurrence of visits and purchase frequency. We collect data from different sources and identify the customer profile. With this information, we contact customers in a more precise and personalized way, in several communication channels. We can leverage a number of offline and online data sources to find out what the customer journey really is. We can then interact with them in real time at various points in the journey, helping us to ensure a better pre- and post-purchase experience for our customers. Also, by combining data from different sources the tool allowed us to create a customer lead score and optimize return on investment by reaching the right audience in the right way.

Our primary uses for Tealium Customer Data Hub today include tagging our site with Tealium IQ & leveraging the EventStream & AudienceStream tools. The business problems these tools address are understanding how people are engaging with our website and understanding who they are so we can effectively retarget them with relevant advertising.
  • TealiumIQ makes web tagging user-friendly, with many out of the box templates that don't require coding
  • EventStream is incredibly helpful in unifying our visitor data across various devices
  • AudienceStream assists us with discovering new audiences that were previously untapped
  • It was previously a bit of a struggle to figure out the correct JavaScript code to track video views, page scrolls, etc. and I've been hoping for a better solution from Tealium Customer Data Hub. Recently they provided a great new feature called iQ Events that helps us track these events without writing code
Tealium Customer Data Hub is very well suited for nearly all of our web tagging needs. They have a vast library of vendor templates that can be installed with just a few clicks. But there are just a couple of tags that need to fire on page before anything else loads, so in these rare circumstances we need to hardcode them to our site.

  • Has a wide variety of capabilities to consume data from online/offline sources
  • Has the ability to connect to critical marketing platforms
  • Is highly customizable to company specific needs and constraints
  • Complexity. Tealium is incredibly capable but can have a learning curve that can make it challenging for users that are not in the environment 24/7
  • SSO integration was a bit challenging to orchestrate at the level of depth that was desired.
  • Price. The platform is valuable, but can be expensive to socialize initially.
If you need identity management solutions that also integrate with internal and external Marketing systems then Tealium as a great option.
