Reviews
(176-200 of 483)An innovative & useful tool for remote connections.
- No issues establishing remote connection session even in low latency network.
- Two-way files sharing capability.
- Very easy to set up & manage the connections with unique session keys.
- Flexible licensing costs.
- More integration with third party tools are required.
- Activities scheduling post remote connection is not possible.
- Can optimize its UI for a better experience.
- Version Compatibility is a major issue when connecting to a computer having the different version of the tool.
TeamViewer works great
- Easy to use. It's a very short installation.
- Mobile TeamViewer applications work well with a standard PC.
- Affordable
- We don't have to change our current screen sharing software to utilize TeamViewer.
- A good internet connection is required for stability.
- Some minor vulnerabilities (as with every screen sharing advice)
TeamViewer (Remote Access)
- Reliable for always on-access, where VPN is not an option.
- MFA at login provides additional security.
- Random password one-time password makes accidental access harder.
- Remote control is not very refined.
- Tighter integration with windows security standards to make remote control useful.
- Session recording could be improved.
Providing one-on-one computer-computer support is where TeamViewer works well.
The non-commercial option makes it ideal for occasional use.
- Remove desktop.
- File transfers.
- Support chat.
- Ease of access to remote machines.
- It could be easier to tie TeamViewer into an Active Directory like Azure Active Directory.
- It would be nice to be able to change the TeamViewer ID of a saved computer if a reinstall occurred instead of having to recreate the connection.
- Have a way to remote monitor a desktop without the end user's knowledge.
- Remote access to servers with an at terminal like experience
- Easy access to multiple systems with little setup and hassle
- Secure communication with multifactor authentication
- The interface can be a little confusing to start with, but a little invested time overcomes this
- Better organization for using with multiple systems
- It is a solid program with few faults I can think of
Quality Software
- Remote control is quick and easy allowing smooth service calls
- Installation is simple and customizable
- Limiting the number of host machines I can save in my account listing is a big negative. I understand limiting the number of concurrent users, but just having them all on my list doesn't affect anything but my time trying to keep all my customers updated in a spreadsheet.
- TeamViewer is very easy to use
- TeamViewer is known by most users and can rely upon it
- Clipboard integration and screen sharing are very seamless with TeamViewer
- Quick Connect client works well for users who don't already have TeamViewer installed
- The Corporate version of TeamViewer lacks easy permissions and sharing between groups configured within TeamViewer. Each group has to be manually configured
- TeamViewer doesn't have a tool to deploy itself, 3rd party tools or GPOs are necessary
- Remote execution of commands such as installing software or launching scripts without connecting to an endpoint would be a nice feature. 3rd party tools are needed.

TeamViewer

- File transfer could be better.
TeamViewer Review
- Easy end-user interaction.
- Easy file transfers.
- Very simple setup and installation.
- Chat is easy to use.
- RDP performance could be better. Very pixelated.
- Somewhat difficult to instruct users on how to download and install the client from their website.
- Needs improved startup times for end users so that they can see their PIN numbers more quickly.

Great tool for your remote access needs
- Remote access to system - You can do anything on a remote computer to troubleshoot system issues.
- Remote log off & Switch user - Remotely you can log off or use the switch user option to log in with another ID on a remote system.
- Wait for the Partner option you can use to reconnect the system again after you restart the system when you are connected remotely through TeamViewer.
- If the remote user is not having any Admin rights then also you can use TeamViewer to connect that system by using windows Admin credentials.
- We are struggling a lot to get access to all the things when the remote user is not having Admin credentials on the system. Sometimes we are facing trouble in connecting to the remote system through Admin login credentials in that situation if the user also does not have Admin rights on the local system then we are facing issues. If this is taken care of by TeamViewer then this one is the best app to work.
Avoid TeamViewer if you just need remote desktop for specified project and limited period of time
- Remote desktop quality
- Ease of use after established connection
- Licensing
- Prising
- Customer care
Use of TeamViewer
- secure remote access
- Instant Message
- File Transfer
- Access the microphone of the remote machine
TeamViewer is OK, but not my favorite
- It provides secure remote access to computers and servers.
- Once it is set up and working, it is generally reliable.
- It allows us to see an organized list of customers' computers that we have access to.
- TeamViewer is very difficult to set up initially when trying to set up a permanent remote connection. It requires several steps that have to be done just right, or else it won't work, and doesn't give any indication of why it won't work.
- TeamViewer is slow to make the initial connection.
- Compared to other remote support products we use, TeamViewer lacks several features, such as the ability to see detailed information about a given computer without logging into the computer.
Simple and Useful
- Remote Connection
- Reliability
- Ease of file transfer
- Installation is simple and customizable
- User-friendly interface
- Multi Platform Support
- If either side doesn't work in the old version, that's definitely the worst feature.
- It does not work properly if there is no fast and stable connection on both sides.
- TeamViewer is used as a simpler and more secure way to connect to the other party's PC.
- With the paid version, you can establish a session by simply sending the URL to the other party, downloading the client software from this URL, and keeping it open.
- It has reduced the method of access so that it is not complicated for the end user.
- What I most want you to improve is the pricing system rather than the function. I want you to revive the purchase plan.
- I feel that the version changes frequently, so I hope you will continue to work on it for a longer period and update it.
- Certainly, considering the recent security updates, I understand that I want to maintain a new status with a subscription, but I'm concerned that it costs a lot.
- Remote Console access
- keyboard and mouse emulation
- file transfer
- Secure
- like to see it used over an SSL connection
- better costing models for smaller companies
It is used extensively to troubleshoot systems that are physically kept in the office and access them in the most secure way. Easy to use and extremely user friendly.
- Good connectivity in low internet bandwidth
- Cost effective
- Secure
- Timeout limit should be optimised
- Unattended access should be improved
- Lag in input should be improved
One of the best tool for remote dekstop services
- TeamViewer works great in all the environments.
- It works on Smartphones, Tablets, and Computers as well.
- It can be also used to transfer files, chatting, video calling, remote printing, etc.
- TeamViewer is one of the best solution for remote diagnosing.
- Its premium pricing is subscription based, and is a little bit on the higher side.
- It doesn't work as expected on slow internet connections, connection breaks so often.
- Remote wakeup feature doesn't work on many systems.
TeamViewer for a software developer
- Full control of equipment remotely.
- Compatibility with different operating systems.
- Very easy to use.
- Sometimes is difficult to connect and I got several errors before I can get connected.
- It should have a version of the UI more adapted to mobile devices.
- The possibility to control mobile devices.
Great All-In-One solution only if you use it all
- Straightforward setup for both admins and users.
- Very proficient file transfer.
- All-in-one solution if you need more than desktop control.
- Difficult to justify the price considering all other alternatives.
- No self-hosted option which ended up being a deal breaker for us.
- Customer support got worse over the years, difficult to reach out.
- Connect to an end user's computer or mobile device.
- Allows our IT department to support a remote workforce
- Makes transferring files from one device to another easier
- Some connections are periodically dropped
- Speed of connection
- UI could be simplified
