We are using TeamViewer for connecting with colleagues. TeamViewer helps to share screens and talk with colleagues. Connecting remotely solves many problems; we are using TeamViewer for solving coding bugs, and also we can access the screen of participants through it. We are also using TeamViewer to fix the issue of another participant's system.
  • Screen sharing
  • Access to participant's system
  • Talking with colleagues
  • If more than 25 users can join TeamViewer, it's more useful
Once my colleague had an error in his code, so we connected through TeamViewer, and I could access his system, we solved that issue. If I talk about a less appropriate scenario which is where I am using TeamViewer through mobile data, and TeamViewer is lagging too much, which needs to improve, I think.

TeamViewer is a great tool! I have been using it for connecting with my colleagues. A lot of times, we are stuck with the code or generally with a setting in the OS, and TeamViewer then comes in handy. We easily take remote control and resolve the issue. We also used TeamViewer in code review. It is fast, secure, easy to use, and I love it. It's free to use for individuals, and the Business plan is not too costly either. It also comes in handy when we have to get any software installed, and the system admin could easily take remote control and install the software for us. It also lets you talk with each other using audio/video input. It also has a messaging system in place if you don't want to have a call.
  • Taking remote control
  • Sharing files from one machine to another
  • Talk via messaging or audio/video
  • Is fast, secure, and easy to use
  • I don't think I have any improvements in mind. It does what it is made to do, and it does that efficiently.
It comes in handy when you have to get software installed by your system admin. Or you are stuck with some code/task that you need to get done, so you can take help from your colleagues, and they can take remote control and help you with the task. It also can be used for code reviews.

So we are a product-based company, and we always need to take the remote access to the customers whenever they face any challenges in the product, and that helps us to sit at a place and solve a number of problems which are faced by our customers. TeamViewer is a very amazing tool that takes remote access and is easy to use plus, it helps us share the files from us to them so that the task gets easier again; instead of mailing, we directly transfer it to the customer's machine.
  • Remote access
  • File transfer
  • Communication
  • Multiple device transfer in free version
In the software and service industry, it is the solution, plus there are several more remote access tools, but TeamViewer is ahead of all first and only one software which helps the companies to solve all the issues sitting at home, office, or wherever. I had a very great experience in the pandemic as a customer was facing issues, and he had some tool for remote access, but it was not that perfect, and my work was not suited to it. I asked him to download TeamViewer, and I took the access and solved the issue, and he was satisfied, so it was a savior in the pandemic.

TeamViewer is appropriate for individuals or small businesses that require continuous access to their systems but can't/haven't setup an enterprise vpn with mobile access.
TeamViewer also works well to support friends/family computers. Ad-hoc connections allow easy access to their machines and help them through any issues.

TeamViewer is the most amazing and most acceptable software in the market that provides effortless access to my PC.
  • It is an effortless software that I am using.
  • Its comprehensive UI is immensely simple.
  • The requirement of high internet is a major dislike of TeamViewer.
  • The mobile app is quite slow.
TeamViewer's remote support is the best in my view as I can quickly get access to my workspace PC swiftly. Also, the simple Web UI is fantastic and straightforward to use.

We started using Teamviewer in our IT department a couple of years ago because we were very limited by using the remote control feature in Windows. Teamviewer allows me to securely connect to any machine in our network and from anywhere. This is a big benefit as I'm able to provide support to our team members from anywhere in the world basically.
  • Easy Install.
  • Remote connections very stable.
  • Simple for users to use.
  • I would like to see the feature when you connect to the computer remotely if you could blackout the screen so local users can't see what's going on improved as it doesn't work all the time.
  • After completing a connection there is a pop-up that appears to leave a note, should have the option to turn that off.
  • Integration with Malwarebytes doesn't work very well at first as I had to reach out to support a couple of times before the license was activated.
I think TeamViewer is the perfect tool where you have clients that use windows or mac desktops. It will give your team the flexibility to provide support remotely from basically anywhere in the world as long as they have an internet connection. The software is also easy to use for the end-users and this is very important because if you make software difficult to use the users won't adopt it.

TeamViewer is an essential end-user computer support tool that provides seamless remote connectivity, monitoring and end-point protection for all computer assets within the company. TeamViewer solves the cumbersome problem of remote support and connectivity in an ever-growing remote workforce. The tool also provides us with reporting and monitoring to ensure our end-points are protected at all times with access only a click of a button away in-case there is an issue requiring IT's attention. The ability to connect, communicate and stay connected to our assets gives peace-of-mind to the IT support team.
  • Remote connectivity Support
  • Ease-of-Use for non-technical staff
  • Endpoint protection
  • Meeting & communication software
  • Easy management and configuration of end-points
  • Lightweight and trustworthy application
  • Allowing for trusted connections on known computers and networks
  • Lower bandwidth connection options
  • Remote video/voice quality
  • More levels of grouping in console
TeamViewer is best suited in any IT environment with a heavy remote workforce, with the lightweight and customized installer, TeamViewer is easy to deploy on all your endpoints. The ability to group and customize your "buckets" of computer makes for a controlled and well organized holistic view of all of your endpoints at any time. TeamViewer is less suited for environments that have support technicians that do not possess local administrative rights as TeamViewer has functionality to block-out the screen when a UAC prompt is present.

TeamViewer is the remote desktop solution used to access servers or desktops remotely, especially while working remotely from home. It provides. A secure connection to the remote device through their application also works in a proxy network. The connection is encrypted with a passcode that can be created by the admin avoiding all sorts of security threats that might happen during remote access.
  • Low storage application.
  • Works on proxy network.
  • Connects to remote system instantaneously.
  • Disconnections with remote systems are observed while on standby.
It is a reliable solution for remotely accessing desktops or servers if physical access is not possible. Multiple systems can be connected at the same time. Very intuitive to use and is secure Supports connectivity through the mobile app which can be downloaded from the Android play store. All connections are encrypted through a passcode keeping security in check.

We use TeamViewer to meetings and maintaining a cloud-based IT Help desk. TeamViewer is a fast and secure all-in-one solution for access to computers and networks remotely. This tool very helpful for work from home and online Teaching.
  • Team Meeting
  • Easily access system remotely
  • Centralized Remote Monitoring and Management by TeamViewer
  • Some Time Video not display
  • It gets slower when transferring large files
This tool is very useful for remote support on multiple platforms. It is very simple tool substantial for even a highly computer analphabetic person to download and install and start the TeamViewer session with minimal over the phone guidance.

We use TeamViewer to view and assist people with tasks on their computers from a remote location. This has proven invaluable with the less tech savvy folks that tend to panic when something unexpected pops up on their screen. We get a call and set up a TeamViewer session over the phone.
  • Easy to start a TeamViewer session.
  • Simple controls that don't get in the way when remotely assisting.
  • Cross platform support is great.
  • Pretty solid tool overall. No glaring areas needing improvement.
TeamViewer is a great tool for remote support on multiple platforms whether you need it professionally for customer support or to help your aging parents figure out what's going on with their "computer machine". It is simple enough for even a highly computer illiterate person to download and initiate a TeamViewer session with minimal over the phone guidance.

TeamViewer is an excellent product that provides remote access to several devices with different operating systems. In my company TeamViewer is mostly used to support problems with computer configurations, mostly when the majority of the coworkers are working remotely. This tool also allows connecting to some mobile devices that are physically in the office, to test some behaviors that are specific to some operating system version on a physical device.
  • Easy to configure a connection.
  • Support for several Operating Systems.
  • Provides a stable connection.
  • Touch gestures are a little bit hard to replicate remotely.
TeamViewer is great for:
- Providing IT support team connection to coworker computer, and his useful to configure stuff remotely like VPN Clients, install mandatory profiles, etc.
- Having remote access to physical devices like smartphones and tablets, allowing them to be used remotely
- Accessing clients' computers to give some support to them.

We use Teamviewer exclusively for remote control of Windows devices. Teamviewer addresses the need for technical support via remote control.
  • Remote control.
  • File transfer.
  • Scripting capabilities.
  • Centralised management.
Teamviewer is by far the best tool in the market for remote control purposes. However, it lacks monitoring or centralised management capabilities so it doesn't allow for automation or scripting. That said, the experience is superior to any other remote control software.

I like Teamviewer and it works well, but it is expensive compared to others, in my opinion. To keep this short, don’t use it!! Unless you want to get nailed for an extra $600 even if you try to cancel it before the renewal. I called about three weeks before the renewal and they told me I had to send it in writing? Ok, I did, then they told me I had to cancel my renewal over a month before in order to cancel the renewal and they were going to bill me another year in advance. What!! The is SAAS, not a lease! They have some nerve-ripping off people. Does anyone else have this coming issue? Let’s talk about starting a class action lawsuit.
  • Taking my money a year in advance.
  • Overcharge for their service
  • Delaying in receiving notice for cancelation
  • It works
  • Does not wake up computer remotely
  • They could have canceled my account when asked, I called three week ahead.
  • Let people cancel renewal online, why do I need to call?
  • Let users edit license online
It works well, but it is expensive compared to others and they will try to charge you another year in advance when you try to cancel. Good luck

We install TeamViewer on the computers of all clients we have a service contract with. We like to have multiple options for remote support. Even though we use MSP software for most of our remote work, we always add out TeamViewer account because it is such a reliable software. We know it will always be an option if our main remote software doesn't work. We have a few clients where we use TeamViewer as our main remote support option since it is quicker for some remote support functions, as well as the easy-to-use 2FA option in TeamViewer.
  • Quick remote access
  • File transfers
  • Device monitoring (is it on or off)
  • An easy way to connect to a user who doesn't have TeamViewer installed would be nice.
  • A lite mode, where you could disable certain features when there is a very slow internet connection to help when the computer you are logging into is in a remote area with no good internet options.
  • Increase maximum file size for file sharing would be good.
Well Suited: Any business that has multiple PCs that you need quick remote access to. Because of the high cost, more suited to businesses with more than 5+ PCs. It is suited for businesses where you have multiple people who need access to the same systems in the company.

Less appropriate: Due to the cost, not very useful for a company that isn't going to use the remote tools very often. Due to cost, it would be prohibitive if only used to remote into a few computers.

TeamViewer is used in our organization in accessing our computers remotely. When one needs to use their computers and they are very far from the office, TeamViewer aids in remotely accessing the computers. It is also the best in sharing our desktops with other staff and fellow workers either within the department or company-wide.
  • It helps in ensuring that we are always online in our main computers.
  • It makes it easy to access our computers remotely.
  • It gives us notifications when they arrive.
  • The main computers that we access remotely have sleep modes which when they are in sleeping mode, accessing the computers becomes very difficult.
  • Sharing large files is not possible because it has a limit as to how many file sizes one can share.
  • Due to network problems or network outages, disconnection from the main computers makes remote access a problem.
TeamViewer is best suited where a company depends on marketing to make sales and their systems need to be online all the time. This calls for remote access software because staff cannot staff in the organization all the time hence there is a need for remote access software that will help in keeping the staff online by remotely accessing their computers and that is when the need for TeamViewer a remote accessing software comes in and helps in accessing the computers.

Team viewer is the ultimate solution that our organization uses in remotely accessing our desktops and computers while we are away from the company offices. It eases work and makes communication with our main office computers easy.
  • It makes us to be online always.
  • It gives notifications when they arrive.
  • It enables desktop sharing.
  • When there are errors, it disconnects from the main computer.
  • Sleep mode makes screen sharing difficult.
  • Sharing large files is hard with the software.
When a staff has travelled to the field and wants to access their files, it requires for them to access their computers remotely and that can only be made possible through Team viewer.

I use TeamViewer for a number of reasons that include; making presentations and demonstrations through screen sharing features, enabling collaborative work with my team, giving teams technical support services, and accessing and controlling remote desktops.
  • Offers complete access and control over remote desktop.
  • Web conferencing.
  • Provides technical support.
  • Instant messaging.
  • Possible to use keyboard and mouse to control remote desktop screen.
  • Ease of screen sharing and recording screen sharing sessions.
  • Fast to transfer files.
  • In remote areas where internet connectivity is as poor, there are connection and accessibility issues.
TeamViewer is the leading tool for remote desktop access and control that makes it simple to collaborate with teams, transfer files, and offer technical support services.

We use Teamviewer almost every day to view our customers' front end for their Building Automation and Fire Alarm systems.
  • Easy for non-computer savvy people to use.
  • Allows multiple users to view one PC simultaneously.
  • Shows the name of the person who is logged in.
  • Transfer Data between PC's.
  • When 2 people are logged in at the same time, you end up fighting for control. Instead, you can request control and only have one person with control at a time.
It is well suited to use from home when you need to log into your work PC and not have to drive there. The transferring of data between PCs can be a little easier to use, in my opinion.

I use TeamViewer whenever I need to connect with any student/client or even with my colleagues for some sessions query or troubleshooting their system problems. We can connect with any of our team members or with clients and access their system to seamlessly help them or resolve their problems. Sometimes we use its video conferencing feature as well when needed. To date, we didn't encounter any problem with TeamViewer as it fulfills all our requirements.
  • Remote System.
  • Video Conferencing.
  • File Sharing.
  • Connectivity with mobile phones.
  • Should be light weight.
  • Lagging in video conferencing.
Once our client was facing some issues while connecting to our live class. We immediately told her to install TeamViewer and we remotely accessed her system and resolve the issue quickly so that the client attended her class with a little loss.

This product is excellent for both work use and personal use. Because my firm is very locked down (Laptops) I can't really use it with work. However, I have been using this for years for personal use. It makes helping others with their computers easy and is a game-changer for a small organization that allows this product. I am able to help people through anything from installing printers to showing them how to edit something in PowerPoint. The game-changer is the ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Trouble shoot computer problems
  • Allow control of a computer
  • VERY easy to connect to another computer
  • Security is great
  • Might be a LITTLE easier to explain how to share a computer
I had an issue where someone could not figure out how to install the software. Over the phone, you have to say "Do you see THAT Icon. Click on that icon..no, the one up at the top by the word file.." This makes it very easy to explain where you are talking about on the computer. SO as I take it over I can say "HERE is where the icon is".

Our team uses TeamViewer internally to collaborate and meet. This tool also is very helpful for us to remotely communicate with our clients, assist them with support issues, meetings, training, etc. With our job to support end-users, being able to see and share the same screen and walk through the problem helps to efficiently resolve the issue in real-time. The tool is also used to host meetings [especially] during this pandemic that most of us are working remotely, it definitely helps to speed up communication and resolution.

We use teamviewer for remote access and communication between different parties. This helps when we want to access remote computers and gain the administrator roles. • The UX design needs some improvement
  • Navigation is usually tough for beginners
  • Sharing large files is usually stressful
Teamviewer is best suited in remote access services. This software enables one user access another computer, regardless of the location or time. It is well suited to easily connect any workstation and allow remote control of these workstations to enable fix bugs. The 2 step verification becomes a problem. I think this should be removed.

I purchased the personal use 3 remote license. This was for accessing a few of my personal systems while at work or away.
  • Low bandwidth desktop sharing
  • Customer Service
  • Licensing
  • Communication
I believe they operate some 3rd rate licensing scheme that really has no place in the modern business world. I highly recommend anyone considering purchasing their service to look elsewhere. In my experience, for what they offer, basically VNC like desktop sharing with WAN functionality, their sales and marketing games are not worth it.

I have used this product for over 8 years without issue as it has previously met my needs. However, beware of this product and its automatic license renewal options. They insist that you MUST give them 28 days notice to cancel this product prior to its automatic renewal. Even if you contact them like I did 15 days before the auto-renewal, they will make NO exceptions, for any reason whatsoever. My question is, is Teamviewer that desperate to hold on to clients that they put this cancellation clause (in small print) without any notification of your upcoming renewal? My experience with their customer service team was appalling as they were rude, curt, and short with me. This experience has completely soured me on what is otherwise a good product. Very disappointed to have ended my relationship with them this way.
  • Screensharing.
  • Better Cancellation Policy
Well suited to screen sharing and remote support. However, their weakness is in high pricing even with discounts and their abysmal cancellation policy. Their customer service could also be improved drastically. The customer is not first. The only thing they care about is you paying your license fee. I will not be recommending this product to any clients or IT support people.

This company is absolute a scamp! What a shame! They hook you up, they overcharge you, they don't want to cancel, and if you try to cancel and do not want to renew, they will send you to a collection. Stay away, they are overcharging you while there are better and cheaper alternatives out there like AnyDesk. This company is a real scamp.
  • There service is standard like any other in the market, but they are way over priced
  • Drop the price, allow a cancellation, stop sending clients to the collection if they don't want to renew
They don't have anything special feature that makes their price that high.
