Also it is a great and easy to use tool.
It does not require a lot to implement it within an organisation.
It lacks a bit of security therefore I would not rate it the highest score possible.
I give it a solid 8,5 out of 10.
Security
I believe teamviewer does not promote this enough.
I've been working with it for 2 years and I did know it had a 2fa authentication method.
It believe it still is not the best security wise.
We have not taken advantage of this.

TeamViewer is a swiss army knife of remote admin tools
When people are looking for a great tool to work with users with systems issues this is the best tool I have found.
There may be other products that can do similar jobs, but this is what I recommend.
- User saving
- Remote access
- Desktop support
- Easier links
- More options for setup
The times savings of not having to be onsite for software issues is a lifesaver for you and the end user.
Trustworthy tool for remote supporting
- I can take control of the users workplace
- It's easy to exchange the information needed to take control
- The Quick Support client is easy to use for end-users
- I prefer the old interface
TeamViewer Remote Control
- Screen Sharing
- Admin Rights
- File Transfer
- Security
- Chat
- Naming Convention
- Ease of connection
- User friendly
- Reliable connection
TeamViewer Recommendation
- Take over
- Reboot
- Remote install
- Improve resolution
- Improve performance
- Add otp
We keep going back to TeamViewer.
- Centralized environment for IT department
- User-friendly interface makes for quick adoption.
- Some reputation issues in the past left a sour taste. Systems are reliable, but accountability was lacking.
- Multiuser is still lacking. With remote teams at a peak, some problems require more than two parties for resolution.
We went a difficult direction
- Easy to connect with
- Easy to get added to users machine
- Easy to remove when a user leaves the company
- You have to have the same software on both machines to provide support
- Some techs use iPads to provide support and you can’t help a PC user from a mobile device
TeamViewer Best Remote

- Troubleshooting on remote computer
- Screen sharing
- TeamViewer versioning and connection
- Multiple remote access at once

TeamViewer works great!
- screen takover
- communication
- ease of use
- quicker response time
Teamviewer Free is wonderful and useful for the personal user.
- Remote Connection
- File Transfer
- stable connection
- ease of use
- I would like them to stop changing the UI. For an IT Professional, changing the UI every time, it makes things harder to find and adds unneccesay time to a repair.
For the home lab user that wants to run headless machines without the expense and overhead of a Keyboard/Mouse and Monitor for each unit so much easier. Just needs power and network/internet.
Remote Access Lifesaver: TeamViewer Saves Time and Sanity
- IT Remote Login
- Remote Patient Monitoring
- Telehealth Consultations
- Remote Equipment Maintenance
- Secure Communication and Collaborations
- The UI (User Interface) is a little clunky
- You have to get the premium to get the benefits of the program
- Mobile App restrictions
- Limited/No Customizations
- Performance is a bit slow
- Pricey
Simple and Secure Remote Management Tool
- Remote Sharing
- Access Screen control
- Asset Management
- Patch Management
- Calling Functionality is not possible
- Cannot add multiple users, like adding L3 engineer for help
- Team Viewer Mobile functionality is limited
Remotely awesome: Increased business efficiency with TeamViewer
- It has excellent security measures like 2FA and E2E encryption to protect our data from unauthorized access.
- It integrates very well with other regularly used business tools like Salesforce and Zendesk helps us a lot in the smooth operation of daily tasks.
- For tech savvy users like me, features like multi-monitor support, VPN integration, drag and drop file transfer and custom branding help me with the highest level of control and customization.
- The mobile app is good, but it's confusing at times. Gestures aren't always intuitive and finding specific features requires digging through menus. A smooth interface with more readily available actions would be a welcome change.
- Connecting to a remote device sometimes becomes difficult, especially for non-technical users. Automating routine connection details like IDs and passwords and/or offering simpler connection methods (QR codes, NFC) could help.
- Occasional connection drops and lags are frustrating, particularly during conducting critical tasks. Improving connection stability and providing better feedback on network issues would enhance user experience.
Simple, elegant, high-quality screen sharing and remote control
- Remote Support
- Sharing Desktop
- Screen Share
- Save connection credentials
- Easier/quicker connection with less confusing password
- Always enable unattended connection
TeamViewer, Bridging Distance and helping Collaboration
- Allows me as an engineer to connect to a client computer and offer assistance.
- Allows me as an engineer to do an unattended sessions were l can leave it running on a server and connect as and when l need to make a change
- I can also connect back to my office computer to get a file or work on something remotely from home.
- Allows me to connect with friends and family to help them sort out their IT issues.
- Ability to remotely file browse
- Wake-on-LAN feature, this would be a big win for IT professionals
- Free version of TeamViewer for Linux based home users
- A virtual collaborative whiteboard would be also a good feature for working with someone remotely
"Access your System from Anywhere" Team Viewer
TeamViewer Remote is without a doubt one of the most used platforms around the world and has been popular for its ease of use, in addition to having a very good reputation. With this software tool, we can remotely serve users who cannot travel geographically and this offers a great advantage for companies that are distributed in different headquarters, many of them distant, and without IT personnel.
- I love the unattended access that TeamViewer offers
- This is to be the self-responsibility of the user who allows authorization to another user to ensure data privacy and security.
- I have had problems with TeamViewer's shortcuts not working properly unless I run them from the command prompt.
- The security of the sessions could be improved; I think they are not as rigid as they should be regarding authentication factors. Also, it depends on a good connection on both sides for adequate and uninterrupted use.
Teamviewer a great tool for remote support.
- Provide easy remote access to local computer.
- Easy to configure for secure access.
- Allow logging of remote access.
- Configuration is not always simple, should allow a quick configuration.
- Licensing model is not flexible and expensive.
- The newer version should be able to connect to an older version. The need to update is sometimes a pain when you need to get things done quickly, only to find out the version's mismatches.
- Remote access
- Remote control of users computer
- See who's computers are online and accessible
- Windows app vs. chrome app is a bit confusing
- Multi-monitor support
- Clarity to user when requesting access
Probably overkill when you only need to access a single computer or do so irregularly. In these cases Teams or Chrome RDP would likely suffice.
