Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

TeamViewer is well suited for those situations which demand urgent support to get the services up & running. Be it professionally or for personal use, it always comes in very handy wherein any technician or a person can initiate a remote connection with the intended user to fix their computer related issues virtually.

Your client wants access to a server, but they don't want to utilize Windows RDP. This is a simple method to get them connected. If you want a more secure method when traffic is being blocked then you can probably find a better service to use. If a client comes to you wanting to work from home then you may invest in something a little bit more supported than TeamViewer. LogMeIn for example has a plethora of features to make sure their users feel secure. Plus it is a lot more optimized for the end user. But if they just want to log in and start working then TeamViewer is good software. I've used it for my home computer for over a year and I don't have a lot to complain about. I would say it isn't ideal for MSP unless you have no other form of screen sharing.

If VPN is available and working well, then TeamViewer is not necessarily a better option. It still requires a dedicated computer to VPN to in order to support it or the rest of the network. Ideal for small organizations where costly VPN solutions are not available.

Providing one-on-one computer-computer support is where TeamViewer works well.
The non-commercial option makes it ideal for occasional use.

TeamViewer is well suited for Information Technology helpdesk departments that need to remote into machines or servers without being in the same location as the machines. This is a benefit for large organizations that span countries or even the entire world. TeamViewer is less suited for a way to remote monitor an end user as the end user receives a box in the right corner of their screen that lets them know someone is connected and who it is that is connected to their machine. They have the ability to close the connection which at times is a cause for frustration when you are in the middle of working on their computer and they close the connection on you.

When VPNs are not available and remote access to servers or other systems is needed TeamViewer is a great option for its ease of setup and its simplicity for accessing remote systems. The interface is well laid out and with a little time investment becomes simple to navigate. Not really ideally suited for large implementations, but I have only ever used it for accessing a handful of systems.

The software is better and more flexible than it's competitors. It works really well in a residential environment where the users are not very knowledgeable about computers. The icon is easy to identify and the ability to customize it with your own logo and message is comforting to the end-user.

TeamViewer works very well for remotely assisting employees who have the client installed. Easy screen sharing and control make it well suited for a help desk team to perform all essential duties. TeamViewer works well in controlling computers that don't have monitors or peripherals connected. In our case we have several computers mounted to lobby displays, we can easily connect to these computers without RDP interfering with what's displayed on the screens.

The program allows remote access to your computer so it should only be used by someone you trust. Our IT company gains access to our computers with this program. You cannot work on your computer at the same time as the other party. They control your mouse cursor and use it to perform whatever action is needed. If you move your mouse, it will override their actions.

TeamViewer is well suited for providing remote access to our users that are not physically at locations where we have IT staff in the office. This also includes the rare times when a user experiences computer technical issues outside core work hours. TeamViewer also allows our staff to continue to work remotely during COVID restrictions. Where in the past they would be in the office and have access to local IT staff.

We used remote support (Teamviewer) for our customers. But the customer's PC was secured. In particular, I couldn't install it on that PC. There was no way to solve this problem, and in the end, after paying a lot of time and money, I went to solve the problem. No install is a trend, But Teamviewer is old.

At first freemium worked well. Anyway, some concerns arrived when the pay version was needed and the yearly plan was the only option. And the disaster came when renewal happened after 6 months of no use. There are no monthly plans available. There is no way to get a refund if the renewal has happened. My honest opinion is that majority of TeamViewer users need it just for some limited period of time and this company wants your money more than your respect.

TeamViewer is very suitable for technical support teams that need to help other analysts or even end users within corporations. It can also be used for meetings where you can share content with other users who are participating. Sending files to remote machines. All this safely and reliably with the client always up to date.

TeamViewer is probably best for the person who simply wants to access his office computer from home or on the road. It also works well for the "one-off" support call, where a customer just wants to temporarily give remote access to his computer to a support person. For an IT support company like mine, where I need to have consistent, reliable connections to and control over many customers' computers, there are better, more affordable solutions available.

TeamViewer provides convenience in many scenarios you can think of, such as supporting remote users and working remotely. Imagine that you can connect to a system with [the] internet from any platform you want without any problems. On top of that, the user interface is equipped with the tools you will need in many areas.

Instead of visiting and responding to any problems displayed on the computer, it is possible to understand from a remote location if the work cannot be improved without visiting, thus streamlining the activities of the on-site staff. I feel it is convenient for division of labor, such as checking defects, clarifying how to deal with them, and improving efficiency in dealing with them.

TeamViewer is most suited for small office footprints where the cost is less expensive than implementing a VPN solution or a Citrix solution. Team Viewer is perfect for small remote offices and offices that have no on-site IT support. In larger offices, a secure VPN or the use of Citrix is more applicable. I also prefer TeamViewer to use a VNC product as it is more secure.

TeamViewer is used to access the systems on which Our RPA bots are deployed. It is used extensively to troubleshoot any errors that occurs in the robot exection. Provides connectivity to the remote system in a very secure manner without attended access on the other side of the system. ACCESS IS CONTROLLED via passwords only aware to the admin. Logs of access is available in the log data stored in backend.

TeamViewer is well suited in any case where one wants to remotely access a device. It works great in most the use cases. It is one of the must-have software for employees who are working from home. This might be not suitable for you if you want to access a mobile from another mobile.

It is very useful for equipment control and remote monitoring of problems, it cannot be used to control mobile devices, this could be a very useful feature that could be included although it has many security and privacy considerations.

TeamViewer is great for traditional support scenarios where an agent needs to double-check information or reproduce the issue from a user perspective. The performance is generally very good with no noticeable lags or freezes. You buy concurrent user licenses so that's definitely a plus on the budget side, compared to named users options.

During COVID, it definitely helped troubleshoot issues with work-from-home users. We could also transfer install .exe of ISO files to deploy software. In some cases, our remote workforce would not have a fast network connection at home. Sometimes TeamViewer would drop the connection, or flat out refuse it.
