  • With TeamViewer, I've been able to access files and features on several different computers without having to bring those computers with me everywhere I go.
The "economic benefits" question doesn't apply to my line of work. I work for a non-profit organization. I measure value in terms of what I can achieve in my work, not in terms of profit earned. When I need to access a remote computer, something like TeamViewer is an indispensable tool.

  • Positive - Being able to remote into a computer without being on our LAN with RDP saves time and confusion. Both for the end user and the person trying to remote in.
  • Negative impact - When TeamViewer is not working (has rarely happened in the past 7 years), sometimes is hard to get into the end users computer when TeamViewer is not an option. Being able to see the login screen can help figure out the computer name if you need it, and nice being able to log in as someone else if you need a quick switch. Can be done with RDP but can sometimes not be as easy.
  • Positive Impact - having the option to auto install and install with a config saves time and unifies the settings, which makes life easier.
Almost instantly. TeamViewer was deployed before I started but even from my first day and not having that tool under my belt, would have made things really difficult.

We saw the benefit immediately. We appreciate being able to SEE a customer's problem when diagnosing - and likewise, the customer appreciates not only having their problem solved but also having it solved on the spot because of the remote access that Teamviewer provides.

  • pricing is expensive when compared with other remote tools.
  • cancellation of subscription is not straight forward, instead needs to contact support personnels.
  • if the subscription billing is changed to monthly it will be great
after a quarter period (around 3-4) months we analyzed the Teamviewer is beneficial to reduce the cost. We have users and remote servers for which some admin executions cannot be done via Remote desktop for which we travel physically to the locations, but Teamviewer helped us to execute using admin privilege and now we manage the entire systems from a single console cutting the entire cost of travel and time saving.
