  • Average Effective/workable time of a team member has increased because the team member does not to wait for the IT team do the installment of any software and hand the laptop over again.
  • Cost for the alternate laptops have been reduced, since there is less requirement now to handover a backup PC for the employees until the current PC's issue is resolved, if it's software issue.
  • Cost of the transport, electricity and building maintenance, has reduced, since the remote working option for the employees is available with the TeamViewer.

  • Frustrating at times that you can't access an online computer -- after an unspecified number of attempts, you are locked out for an unspecified number of minutes. This is incredibly frustrating for users on both ends.
Very short ROI if you don't have any remote access system in place.

  • Distributed locations can be covered with minimum human resources
The economic benefit is immediate specially if the company has remotely distributed offices in different geographic locations. For us, we are supporting different districts of Bangladesh from the capital city, Dhaka. Also, we are providing remote assistance to our Dubai office from Bangladesh.

  • On travel costs, I have reduced traveling to my client drastically, reducing mostly my fuel costs, which are one of my highest day-to-day costs.
