[Teamwork Projects] is being used in some of our projects, where to monitor progress and execution it is widely implemented, further it helps to execute the scenarios which were causing disruptions in projects. In a project sub functions or works are planned by timeline with the help of Teamwork projects. In overall assessment of project monitoring by scorecard teamwork plays vital role in reporting. Cost estimation and duration estimation periodically can be obtained like gannt chart etc.
  • Project compilation in sub projects
  • Effective reporting timelines physically vs planned hence it declared actual responsible or delayings.
  • Reporting related to Cost working, workmen working thier deputation can be obtained in projects and sub projects even in further functions.
  • Visualization needs to be improved, charts graphs are limited
  • Value stream mapping should be available to determine and prioritize the work.
  • Documentation should be available stepwise with export and printable facility.
  • It should be configurable like ERP with cross functionalities of different users, where users login, assign and approve the work, job or project details, where it should be collectively effected on a project.
  • Add many examples, little more AI, Machine learning required for suggestion and recommendation. It would be a plus point
[Teamwork Projects is] best where single user handling it, status is being updated by single users, suited for normally small medium non complex construction projects, production setup and services setup.

My depart is utilizing Teamwork for completing audits and some training modules both of which are based off of a new software platform that has been put into production. It allows management to track the progress of completion of our individual audits and training which are divided into specific tasks.
  • Intuitive dashboards.
  • Very easy to learn.
  • Easy to modify and make updates.
  • More customizable labeling of fields.
  • Better group chat or messaging feature like Discord.
  • Easier to share team files.
It works well for tracking specific repetitive tasks that need to be completed routinely such as audits or training review materials. The interface is very easy to learn so it requires minimal time spent learning for non-technical users. Its been fast and reliable for our organization's usage - we haven't had any system outage issues with it yet.

Our entire organization uses TeamWork, and I highly rely on it every single day. We use it to organize clients as well as projects within each client. It helps us track the progress, know what the next steps are, keep communication organized, and track time for billing purposes. There is a bit of a learning curve at first, but once it is implemented it helps things run so much smoother (especially compared to Zoho, Asana, Basecamp, etc.)!
  • Teamwork allows you to split up a project by task lists. This helps you see the nitty-gritty of what needs to be done.
  • Teamwork has a "milestone" feature so that you can see the larger picture and the core steps to take to complete the project.
  • Teamwork allows you to track time on a task-by-task basis so that you can show clients more detailed reports.
  • Although the time tracking feature is great, it doesn't sync with QuickBooks, which complicates things a bit.
  • Unless you have the setting JUST right, you will get an email about EVERYTHING.
  • Moving milestones is easy once you learn it, but until then it can be very messy and complicated.
If you have a one-off project that only has two or three main tasks, then TeamWork may be a bit too advanced for your needs. If you are working on a medium to large project where there will be several people working on it at different times with 20+ tasks in different categories, then TeamWork is perfect for you! It organizes larger projects so well.

Hello! Teamwork is used for project management for our company. We manufacture art books that have a very complicated process -- teamwork is able to help with that. It's right now used for our product development team, and gives us a roadmap of the steps needed to complete each process of making a book.
  • It's allowed us to see each project zoomed out as well as zoomed in.
  • We've been able to see the different layers that go into each project.
  • I wish I could upload and connect other documents that are part of the project on this platform.
  • The Gantt chart is the most helpful tool for us, not the rest.
For someone who is looking for a beautiful platform for project management where you rely on deadlines and timelines, this is great! However, it's still very limited, and we need to use other tools to make the most out of this. I wish there were more features in Teamwork. The best tool that we use is the Gantt chart, but nothing else.

Teamwork Projects is being used by everyone in our company. It's our main project management tool and we're using it to manage client projects as well as internal projects. It's a great way to centralize all your efforts in one place so you can analyze capacity, stay on top of the projects and ensure everything gets done on time.
  • It's easy to use and pretty straightforward. It's hierarchy allows for simple yet effective project organization.
  • It has integrated time tracking, helping you manage your team and utilization.
  • You can share/upload files straight in TeamWork to streamline the project.
  • You can easily customize it with different tags, boards, and milestones that you create for yourself and your team.
  • Time tracking can glitch sometimes, causing issues with reporting.
  • There's no way to see your team's capacity when you add a project and the time required to complete it. That'd be an amazing feature.
It's a great tool for project management. You'll be able to learn how to use it pretty quickly, the dashboards are very intuitive and the user's experience is overall very good. It's a great tool for marketing agencies or anyone wanting to organize their projects. I'd say it's a mid-level tool -it's not as robust as Jira, for example, but also much more comprehensive than Basecamp or similar tools.

We've used Teamwork Projects to manage several small and large products in our organization. It's a very robust, userfriendly and intuitive applications. The learning curve is zero to none, anyone with basic Microsoft application skills can easily start using Teamwork as member of a team or as manager. Single sign-on makes it easier to manage users and the archiving facility is also great to limit user licenses.
  • Easy to use.
  • Cost-effective.
  • Highly scalable.
  • Powerfull.
  • Intuitive.
  • Good reporting.
  • Customization/branding.
  • Filter notification.
  • User tutorials.
It's a great product to manage projects from small to a considerably large size project. Would be great if there was customization for the type of the projects (pre-set templates), average project time from similar projects at other institutions. Also, be nice to have customization/branding features. Additionally, notifications filters would be great as well.

Teamwork is being used with a client that has required two different advertising agencies to work together on a massive project. It has helped to align the 30 plus person team and relay the outputs of the project to the client/end-user in a streamlined and efficient way that we wouldn't normally get with other project management software.
  • Multi-Company User Integration
  • Individual Task Assignment
  • Project Hour Logs
  • The software is complicated
  • If training exists for this platform then I don't know about it
  • Lack of overview for all features (I'm probably only scratching the surface of the platform)
The best type of project for Teamwork would involve a large set of people that need to be informed every step of the way. We have a 30-35 person team that is working on the project with various roles from marketing automation to project manager to account manager and all need to be in the know. Teamwork does that for us.

We use Teamwork Projects to manage our workflow of media creation. We support over 450 online courses and over 150 conference and workshops with their media and marketing materials. Teamwork allows us to keep up with the demand and is an efficient way to document progress and completion.
  • Teamwork templates are a wonderful feature to allow you to set up a process and then repeat as often as needed in future projects.
  • The ability to be flexible using standard tasks lists of board views (like Kanban boards) is extremely helpful for my team.
  • Using the option to estimate time to completion is also helpful to manage costs.
  • While there is some reporting available, they are working on improving in this area.
  • Capacity management tools are also something that needs some work and they are actively developing in this area as well.
If people have a process that they often follow, setting up these workflows in Teamwork Projects is easy and repeatable. The ability to set up dependencies and to be notified via email when you are able to work on a dependent task is extremely helpful.

At our company, we use Teamwork Projects to manage all of the tasks for our client accounts, personal tasks and internal tasks. It's being used across our whole organization and helps us keep our projects on-time with project templates, task logic and other project management features.

It serves as a hub for our client accounts as well, where we input client contact information, monthly reports, call notes, attachments sent over from the client. If you look in any of our Teamwork Projects for a client, you're able to see a full timeline of history and hard work which comes in handy if you need to go back to an older client account or need to justify anything with proof!
  • Project Features - Milestones, messages, time tracking, billing options, user options, notebooks, useful links, task lists, etc. - Teamwork has many features you can turn on or off for a project to customize it for easy use
  • Task Editing - Change the dates, recurring times, adding in dependents, etc. is all very easy when using Teamwork Projects
  • Customizability - From changing the colors to changing what's available on each project, Teamwork gives you the options to make projects very minimal or very complex.
  • Customizability can be overwhelming at first - If you're a new Teamwork Projects user, there is a bit of a learning curve to discover where everything is and how to customize your projects for best usage.
If you're looking for a robust project management software for your growing small business, my vote is for Teamwork Projects. It helps us manage our small business and our teams internally.

If you need advanced features, like KANBAN boards, GANTT charts, time tracking, billing, etc. in your project management tool, Teamwork is a great option.

I'm personally not sure how it would scale to larger companies where you would need to manage many schedules, just because I haven't experienced using Teamwork at such a scale.

We reviewed several project management tools prior to committing to Teamwork. We often describe it as "Basecamp on steroids." Very impressed and easy to use.
  • Great file management -- integrates with Google Drive.
  • Great calendar management.
  • Perfect task and calendar reliances. When you update one date or task, the others change in relation.
  • Looking forward to understanding more about the CRM.
  • I have not used the integrations from my proposal software, but that might be one area that we can improve.
  • Would like to see a way to turn off some features that we don't use.
Teamwork is very well suited for a remote team and managing a creative department. Not sure where it may not work as well.

I am using Teamwork Projects to track projects for my tech team on a detailed level, as well as tracking high-level deliverables for our other program areas for cross-collaboration purposes as needed per project. I also work with our leadership to be sure they have a robust chart view of projects for the tracking of milestones for org-level fiscal year goals.

In addition, I have used the application to export time-tracking data for my tech team to illustrate resource allocation and use; both for the balancing of work pipeline across the team and for each team SME. This was a key in making a successful case for additional team FTE acquisitions.
  • Clear hierarchical menu system, allowing for ease of use and a relatively flat learning curve for non-project management staff.
  • Robust communication system both within and outside of (email integration) the application makes communication protocol simple and precise, without the need for non-project management staff to be constantly logged into the application.
  • Rapid response customer service via email. Often responding within a 30-minute window.
  • Flexible project builds lending the application to both Waterfall and Agile project management, including Kanban.
  • Being a SaaS application, Teamwork Projects can become sluggish during peak use.
  • Constant evolution of the application (a good thing!) can sometimes lead to sudden functionality bugs.
  • Dashboard is a bit messy and really not functional as named.
  • In-app reporting is weak, however data exports to .pdf for quick visuals, or .xlsx for data analysis solve this for my purposes.
Suitable for most project management scenarios, except perhaps for Scrum. Not as detailed as MS Project.

Suitable for tracking multiple orgs and vendors, with billable and non-billable time tracking options.

Not suitable for granular resource tracking or in-app reporting of multiple data points/axis.

We were initially using Basecamp for project management at my digital agency but we eventually outgrew it so we searched for alternatives and Teamwork was the one we chose. The transition from Basecamp to Teamwork was extremely easy with their import feature, however, the software is complex and neither my team or my clients wanted to use it. The learning curve was extremely long.

The complexity is obviously because the tool is powerful however the on-boarding was painful, especially internally with my team. It took us a whole month to try to understand it and get buy-in from the team so eventually we gave up. We ended up moving to Asana and within a week we were up and running.
  • Import from Basecamp was a breeze.
  • Gantt Charts for full project view.
  • Dependable tasks.
  • User interface is too complex (and I particularly don't like the logo...)
  • Long learning curve and hard on-boarding for teams and clients alike.
  • Difficulty with templates (have to be done in individual task lists)
The platform is powerful so if you are willing to invest the time in learning how to use it you will be able to get a lot more out of it. I find the gantt charts particularly useful for agencies like me with many large projects going on at the same time.

On the other hand, the fact that it is powerful is also what makes it complex and therefore hard to use. Too many buttons and options which cause distraction and confusion. For a team of 10 with about 30 monthly projects on an ongoing basis it was not a good fit.
