Teem's software has become an essential tool for many companies, serving a variety of purposes across the entire organization. One of its primary use cases is conference room scheduling, allowing users to easily book and manage meetings in different buildings. By deploying the software on iPads in conference rooms, Teem eliminates the need for outdated paper calendars and provides seamless syncing capabilities. Users have reported minimal downtime or restarts, appreciating the system's reliability.

Another valuable use case of Teem is the ability to enhance the booking experience by incorporating features like hoteling desk reservations and Outlook plugin integration. With access to room pictures and real-time availability information, users can effortlessly find and reserve the ideal workspace or meeting room. The flexibility of booking rooms from outside the conference room via iPads has proven to be highly valued by employees.

Furthermore, Teem extends its functionality beyond conference room management. It serves as a powerful tool for check-ins at reception areas and allows employees to receive instant alerts when customers or prospects arrive. This real-time information enables efficient coordination and improves customer service.

Overall, Teem's software streamlines multiple aspects of office operations, from conference room scheduling to visitor sign-in and reception management. Its intuitive interface and reliable performance have earned it positive feedback from users who appreciate its convenience and efficiency in everyday workflows.

Convenient Room Booking: Many users have expressed that the ability to easily book rooms from their cell phones is a convenient feature. This allows them to make reservations on the go without relying on a computer, providing flexibility and convenience in managing their bookings.

Useful Reservation from Meeting Rooms: Reviewers have found the option to quickly reserve a room directly from the meeting space to be highly useful. This eliminates the need for users to leave the meeting area or switch devices, streamlining the booking process and saving valuable time during busy schedules.

Helpful Real-Time Room Information: Users appreciate having up-to-date information displayed outside each room. This feature ensures they can access accurate and current availability and status details for each room, enabling them to make informed decisions about which rooms are suitable for their needs.

Frequent Crashes: Several users have reported experiencing frequent crashes with the Outlook plug-in, which not only disrupts their workflow but also leads to their computers crashing from time to time. This issue has caused frustration and inconvenience for these users.

Lack of Lock Code Feature: One common request among users is the addition of a lock code feature in the app. By having this feature, users can secure their data and prevent unauthorized access, providing them with peace of mind and enhanced security.

Limited Integration with Microsoft Tools: Many users have expressed a desire for more direct integration with popular Microsoft tools like Teams and Outlook. They believe that seamless integration between these tools and the app would greatly improve their productivity and efficiency by streamlining workflows and enabling better collaboration across platforms.

We use Teem for conference room displays and check-ins, as well as reception check in. It allows us to see what rooms are free, or in use. It also alerts our employees when a customer, prospect, etc. checks in to see them.
  • Interface is fairly easy to use.
  • Check-in feature allows us to free up conference rooms not in use.
  • Customer service is fantastic.
  • Wish they had a "remote" check in feature I could turn on for some users.
  • Updating, or refreshing when a room is booked or removed could always be faster.
Honestly, it just works. It works, price is fair, and the customer service is great. In 2020, I want a product that works, and excellent customer service. They provide that.
  • Saves time booking conference rooms - time is money.
  • Allows visitors to quickly check in and alerts our employee(s) instantly via email.
I've been using Teem for a little over a year, and it works well as a product. I haven't investigated other products that do the same thing, but I need to. That being said, Teem's customer service is awesome. So the tool would have to be fairly impressive for me to entertain a switch.
They are great. Working in a customer facing role my entire career, I understand the important of having excellent customer service. They are responsive, polite, and answer my questions when I reach out.

Teem has been a great way for us to book hoteling desks and meetings. The Outlook plugin is great and we've added pictures of the rooms. Allowing bookings from the iPad outside the room has offered great flexibility.
  • Flexibility
  • Support tickets from room
  • Room tracking data
  • Maps take a log time to load
Teem is well suited for hoteling desks and room booking.
  • We have more efficient meetings using Teem since we can see that someone else has the room booked.
  • Easier hotdesking.
  • Virtual maps!
You can't beat Teem's pricing. As soon as I look at another option, their pricing is double or triple what we are paying for Teem and I don't see the cost-benefit to the other products. While they might have more features, they are more of add-ons and "nice to have's" than must-haves.
Their customer success team is amazing, I know I can reach out directly to my Teem rep and get a response very quickly. Even if the response is just "let me find out for you," it's nice to know that they are working on it and we aren't just stuck in some queue somewhere.

We use Teem across our primary location as a method of making visibility on conference room availability as easy as possible. In addition to getting visibility at the door to the room they also have the ability to book rooms on the spot. Teem makes finding an available conference room in a pinch much easier than having to pull out your laptop or phone and look up the information.
  • Easy-to-administer, cloud based platform.
  • Friendly interface on end user devices that is easy to use.
  • Licensing is straight forward.
  • Front Desk check-in app is simple even for first time guests.
  • More direct integration with Microsoft tools such as Teams and Outlook.
  • Functionality more akin to special events check-in that can be used when necessary.
I think Teem is really well suited for two scenarios:
  • Conference Room visibility and on the spot room reservations when used in conjunction with devices that are installed at the rooms.
  • Front Desk check ins and tracking of users coming into the building for checking in on a digital device.
I think it's a little less applicable as a conference room booking tool, although it does this. This might be OK for situations in which a company doesn't have a platform such as Exchange or Office365, so maybe in a smaller company.
  • Teem has made it much easier to find rooms in a pinch, so that has reduced a lot of time for users.
  • Teem has made it much easier for us to track all guests coming into the building and vastly improved our tracking/reporting.
  • On the downside, it has been expensive adding new conference rooms due to the cost of hardware which can be pretty negative.
So for us, we started using this a long time ago and Teem really offered the best value and the ability to use a non-purpose specific built device. The cost was one of the biggest factor. We are beginning to re-evaluate our options and know that Crestron has introduced some new devices that can use Teem at a good price point, but they can also be standalone without Teem. So we are ultimately trying to decide where we go in the future.
Customer support from Teem has always been good. We have seen them change hands a couple of times which has been a little difficult from the sales end of things but once we are connected to the right people that have been very good regarding the support of their products and listening to their customers.
