ThoughtSpot Everywhere: Engaging analytics experiences with search & AI. Businesses today run on apps, and those apps run on data. Too often, however, that data is presented in stale, static dashboards. Users want to be able to surface and explore insights on their own.

Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Thoughspot is fairly easy to learn and new users - users without any prior technical knowledge can also get onboarded to performing simple activities on their data within 3-4 days.
The more advanced functionalities, a user can get accustomed to within a week or so.

Depending on the user but I would say it takes a few weeks/month to get up to speed.
It's easy to use and very user friendly.
With some help you are able to adjust and do things yourself in about an hour.
The lay-out is great and buttons make sense.

Since we have had very few users trained or given access to the software, I would say it is going to take awhile. You have to have such a commanding understanding of our internal BI architecture, to begin with, and really know what the correct signals for success really are that it's proven difficult to just sit down and extract value from it.

It would be very quick for a new user to connect a database and then start building a dashboard, likely less than a day or two. However, to use the full functionality and to work with various datasets, I would say a couple of weeks is enough to get up to speed.

It takes about a few hours to fully understand how a dashboard can be reviewed and then insights further derived for a business user will take longer for a technical user who wants to understand from an integration standpoint.

I believe it's a complex process and novice users might take a little more work to learn how to use all the features. The analyzes are accurate and processed in a short time. Training is essential for users to get to know the tool.

It is very user friendly for the business analyst as the UI was very intuitive. And a very basic training in case of beginners was good enough for others to start working on the tool.

Not that long. Personally, I felt comfortable after about 30-60 minutes, however, I'm an end-user and I'm not setting up the integrations of ThoughtSpot. I would imagine that if you're involved in the actual setup of ThoughtSpot it would take quite a bit longer to get up to speed and get the data you need.

It depends on the out-of-the-box product. We are building on top of ThoughtSpot very quickly as we are hiding many of the ThoughtSpot features. I would say it's taken our team a few weeks to get a pretty decent handle on all of the foundational ThoughtSpot features. We have not explored Natural Search a ton or worked with the machine learning capability. Our team is very experienced with Tableau and other BI tools, so our ramp time would be faster than those who do not have these skills.

It can take non-analytics business users weeks or months to get comfortable. Some never will. As it is now, [ThoughtSpot] does not live up to the promise of being a user-friendly way to search your data and uncover insights in my opinion.
