Much more powerful than Zapier as Scribe is more of a sync tool rather than trigger/action based (although it does have webhook features as well). For instance, Zapier cannot be used for data migrations so in that regard Scribe is much more powerful. Scribe is also much more fully featured as it is built directly on a vendor's API meaning the capabilities are broader. With Zapier, I have always struggled to achieve a full end-to-end solution without having to build on top of the drag and drop stuff that is offered as I always manage to find gaps in the services offered.

Scribe provides a simpler method of integrating cloud-based data sets than SSIS. We came across eOne after signing a 3-year contract with Scribe. We will evaluate eOne before renewing Scribe after our contract term expires. eOne seems to provide better API support and provides unlimited endpoints.

PowerApps data integration in CDS may overtake TIBCO Scribe as our product of choice for migration/integration when fully operational. Kingswaysoft is another solution used, but relies heavily on SQL SSIS skills.

It is simpler than setting up Zapier or Flow integrations. The pricing is straightforward and does not rely on usage, just the connectors. This made it easier to budget for than trying to guess how many runs and accounts would be processed each day. Overall I found it easier to work with than other products.

In my point of view, the TIBCO BusinessWorks still better than the similar products and software in the market. The strongest point is the out-of-the-box features and functionalities to support multi-vendor integration and multiple points. The product documentation also one of the important point that the product owner or software company support their customers.

  • Webmethods, Intellio and Mulesoft
Having used Webmethods, Intellio and Mulesoft, I find TIBCO BusinessWorks more stable and easy to manage. TIBCO BusinessWorks Container Edition looks promising for cloud and containerized environments like any other new generation product.

MuleSoft was evaluated but we did not like it at all. For one it was more expensive, and the interface was not what we expected. The Scribe Online platform was excellent, but now the TIBCO cloud integration "family" is incredible and has many options for us to move forward with.

The ease of map creation and change management made TIBCO Cloud Integration products an ideal fit for us. Many other solutions are either over-kill for most projects or don't allow the configurability to translate into real-world integration scenarios.
