Scribe is better suited for high volume data integration, migration, or replication, and provides better connectivity to Source/Target the most other integration products. Lead development time is much less with Scribe than other products if the integration project does not reach a certain level of complexity. Monitoring of Scribe is basic out of the box, which is sufficient for low complexity projects, but lacks advanced configurability for more complex projects.

It all depends on the business scenarios. For migration and less tech-savvy consultants, Scribe Online is the tooling to go for! When you are more tech-savvy and know SSIS, you could use that for migrations, although you’ll miss the online interface. For integrations I would also look at Logic Apps from Microsoft.

Mainly Zapier. Zapier has a much bigger market place and it's easier to build a connector on their platform. They have a far more rigorous process for certification which is actually good as their objective is to ensure that an integration can be built by non-technical users. There is also a lot more scripting options available if necessary. Scribe is a more enterprise product than Zapier so they probably serve different markets but Scribe could probably learn a thing or two from Zapier.

Scribe beat out all of these tools according to the following criteria (in roughly this order though it varies by product):
1. Ease of use (no developer required)
2. UI was very familiar as it is very much like SSIS which we had long experience in
3. Unlimited data throughput
4. Overall budget for 3 years was very manageable for up to 75 customers
5. Last, but definitely not least was the speed of on-boarding (I.e. Scribe's ability to quickly deploy a connector in support of our bulk APIs)

There are other products on this list which just as rich of an offering, but which did not score as high according to those criteria as Scribe.

Compared to the other integration platforms I have seen so far, TIBCO Scribe offers the best value for money compared to maintainability, potential for extension/change, administration, implementation etcetera.

Pricepoint with depth of features and the Support is fantastic. -- definitely our go-to product when proposing to clients. I mentioned a few features before that need catching up with Jitterbit -- the inability to do updates on lookup fields if they are NULL, and not being able to set NULL to non-text fields, and using CSVLOOKUPVALUE easily with pipe delimited files.

I've not used other integration products, but have heard of MuleSoft and Kingswaysoft. From my understanding, Scribe has less functionality but doesn't require coding experience. Scribe needs more connectors such as OneDrive for Business SharePoint and Zendesk. Most of my mapping needs are Excel & text workbooks and integrating those as endpoints is somewhat difficult with the current connector options.

In many ways, Scribe is a much lighter and simple integration bus than others, which is far and away an asset when simple integrations (or ones where they are augmented by other automated on-network engines which are also working in tandem) are needed. Often others can be laborious to set up, simply due to the number and breadth of options and services they provide.

On Visual Studio you basically need to custom make everything, from connectors to mapping. You need to write code for every single aspect of your integration. Scribe is designed in such a way where all those aspects are already handled by Scribe, so you only need to create your processes, and that's all.

We used TIBCO/Scribe as it was suggested to us by our integration partner Armanino, but the functionality was commonly used for the Concur/Intacct integration. If I needed additional integrations that did not have built in connectors, like Bill.com, I would look to Scribe as a primary option. Having experience with this integration I would definitely use it for other needs.

I have not used other Scribe like solutions previous to this. I had instead only used direct database connections for data mapping and transfer. A tool such as scribe makes the process much easier.
