Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

The data mapping and design tools in TIBCO are very easy to use and can be picked up and worked with by a non technical user, if there're errors in existing integrations or ones being created these can easily be reviewed and corrected by a non technical user, the editors for the implication are very visual and drag, drop & configure.

TIBCO Good SW easy to use

It is the easiest to use.
I've tried many WSO2, JBoss Fuse, Software AG. Nothing compared to TIBCO.

Off course for a programmer used to write tons of line code, have it substituted with palettes and datamapping can be difficult to accept at the begin.

But what I use to say is: A good programmer will create good Tibco SW if he forget that is not writing code but continue to apply every practice he learned in programming.

Once again I don't have experience with other integration products, but I can say that TIBCO BusinessWorks does this exceptionally well. There is a very noticeable ease to mapping & integration.

As data flows through your business process, different activities require different components of the data. On the Input tab of each activity, TIBCO Designer displays the available process data and the activity’s input represented as schema trees.
• The process data is the list of available data items within the process at the point where the activity is located (an activity has access to all output data from any activity that is executed before it in the process definition).
• The activity input is the list of input values that are required or optional for the activity.
For each activity, you map the process data to the activity input.

BusinessWorks takes Xpath to a level nobody has before. Integrating your data has never been easier. Multiple sources are welcome thanks to the large choice of adapters.
Java code can be also integrated in data mapping but be careful of performance aspects.

Works like charm. Very recommended. It has a very detailed guide to designing the integration points between multiple systems. Moreover, this product also supports different option and methods for the integration. So, the user will have many ranges of the choices to implement and apply it. The out-of-the-box capability is great.

Real first class mapping tools, completely visual. Moreover, whenever you need to go that last mile you can also manually edit the mapping as an XSLT

BusinessWorks is very effective and capable at integrating multiple system data from different endpoints. The software is highly configurable and handles the data quickly. One of the benefits is the ability to manipulate, cleanse and prepare the data before passing it to another tool for business rules processing (TIBCO StreamBase).

TIBCO Business works provides more efficient seamless integration flows and configuration structure as compared to other products in the market. THE FTP, SFTP and Other file transfer interfaces are very easy to configure as per the business requirements. Also the tool provides various customization parameters which vary based on business needs of a company.

I think it's one of the best tools in the market for data mapping and data transformation. I would like to see the support for NoSQL and graph databases built into it.

XPath in TIBCO with its inbuilt functionalities is a very powerful tool for data mapping in TIBCO. There is rarely a scenario that we need to resort for other third-party tools for data mapping other than Xpath in TIBCO BW.

I have not used other integration products, but Tibco is very efficient in its data mapping. One improvement it could use is an interface to help with mapping large data sets. For example, if you have 50 fields and don’t want to just map the parent element, you have to drag and drop all 50 fields individually.

Data mapping is very good with BW5 and BW6. But like I've been saying, BW6 isn't worth the money or significant learning time. BW5 is great. I've implemented some very complex data mappings, where some fields are based on other fields, etc., and I can always solve it with BW5. A lot of integrations we've made would probably not be possible without BW5, because of the complexity. It's also very easy to look at the complex map to determine the logic and solve issues or ask questions. It's often the case that business requests numerous changes to this logic, and a month later has questions about the logic they requested. All I need to do is open the project and examine the map, or even step a message through to see exactly.
