The platform has a lot of capabilities and can be overwhelming at first to learn. The official training is structured and has a low learning curve. Which is good because it helps you to understand the capabilities veryquick. The training books are very suitable as reference material afterwards.

Wish I had found Scribe years ago !

Scribe is so easy to use and understand. Assuming you have basic database and integration skillys you will be up and running in no time. We used the Scribe online training which was great, and the support community and documenation is in-depth and useful if you run into difficulties. Great thing about online training provided is you can just learn what you need to know when you need to know it, training on demand !

A lot of potential, but it's got a long way to go

We did have several meetings with Scribe experts but I didn't find it that helpful. Mostly I have found things out by trial and error or searching internet forums to see if anyone else has had the issue. In most cases, the issues are known issues with no resolution or just something you cannot do with the tool. It would be nice to see more videos or help sites with examples that can get people started on things. Lack of examples seems to be the biggest lack.

Tibco BW is relatively a very good product for implementing the Enterprise/Corporate level backend data processing

TIBCO's training materials are quite not open, it is very hard to google some useful tips, as our company bought the official enterprise license from Tibco, we got some in-person training organize, but only that is not sufficient to master it, so self-taught and knowledge sharing across the teams and members are the most important for us

It was very beneficial to have the 3rd part partner guide and train us on our journey with scribe. We still have the odd issue that they are able to give insight or fix for us and teach us what and why etc. Having some experience with the product isa must and the instructor / 3rd party consultant we had was very insightful and knew his stuff.

Scribe Online is easy to pick up and learn, both using self-guided training, or on-line, ad-hoc training by Scribe Supportspecialists. However, as the need for ever more complex data migration and integrations schemes arises, additional formal training will be necessary to choose the right balance of connectors, filters, data manipulations, and mappings.

We had a lot of different training sessions. They were awful. The first time we had in-person training, I felt like the guy was just trying to prove how smart he was, and wanted to go super quickly. The second time we had in-person training, it was a little better. However, two traits held in common for these trainings were that they didn't seem to customize it well for our business use-case. With our company, we have over 200+ customers on integrations. We want a way to monitor and there was no hope in the future to be able to do that.

very basic and probably not implementing best practices and full potential of the product. It gets the job done, but there are some things like the transformation that could probably be easier to deal with in the app, but we are not sure how to do it. Another thing is the web service connector that dont have much detailed example and it took us time to understand it and make it work.
