I was trained on Scribe on-premise, so moving to TIBCO Cloud Integration was simple. I have trained others with limited or no experience and they have all picked it up in short order. I think that as long as you're familiar with the data structure of the systems you're working with, you'll have a very small learning curve when it comes to TIBCO Cloud Integration.

I was taught from a Microsoft partner that is a resource for my company. I never received formal Scribe training, but this partner was able to teach me how to set up connections, how to set up mappings for a migration as well as how to decide the order of mappings from a systems perspective. This training was extremely helpful for my needs. I was able to learn how to set up connections and mappings for a migration in thirty minutes and then continue to have success setting up solutions for the other clients we are migrating this year. I wish I had been able to use resources to teach myself, but I wasn't able to find videos or blog posts that were focused & in-depth enough for my needs.

I felt it was easy enough to understand for my needs out of the box that additional training wasn't required. I defined my source, destination, and rules and I was off. After the first test-to-sync worked fine, I knew I was getting data, and initial tests were successful. Very few issues since.

The online training gave us a good base for working with the system, it doesn't cover the real detail that your technical team will need to get into so we needed internal expertise for that but it gave our non-technical team enough for them to do there job. There was also a knowledge transfer from the technical to the non-tech once they had completed their work.

The impact of this training was extremely helpful. It was in-depth in the necessary places and made me feel like a professional at the system within a few days. As an Admin this training was essential as I have the duty of showing our new employees how to navigate this system as it is used in everyday tasks.

My team taught ourselves (and each other) how to use Scribe Online. We used the Scribe documentation sites, as well as the resources on the Tibco/Scribe online communities. We have also contacted Scribe support to resolve an issue, and they showed us some tips and tricks that helped improve our overall experience with Scribe. Taking online or in-person training would probably benefit beginner users.

The nature of this initial training given by Mircrosoft partner eLogic was long and drawn out. As a team we were passed by to do the initial design and implementation, therefore leading to a lot missed opportunities with hands-on development that we were very capable of. This may have been due to time constraints, planning and bandwidth.

It would be nice to just be able to say without this trying I would be unable to use Scribe and be done with my answer because that is the truth of it. Without the upfront training, my company provided me with Scribe I would never have learned how to use it. I was lucky to get two seminars at the beginning of my employment and it really made a difference.

The online training is very basic, and for any complex scenarios, you are on your own. I have had great success working with a single technical resource at Scribe to get some more advanced direction or training, but I have to go through back channels to get advanced direction.

Online training was good as a start up to get familiar with the Scribe platform.
The Scribe manual was more then sufficient to assist with integration process development. We learned a lot with a self-taught trial and error approach. Wherever we were completely stuck, the Scribe support team was quick to provide assistance.

If you’re new to the product, it’s good to start with the online training. We also had the in-person training, which provided some additional tips and tricks, but not real big items. It's nice to get to know the people behind the product though.
