I have been using Spotfire with some of other Spotfire and TIBCO products too, like Spotfire Data Science and TIBCO Data virtualization. These products are well supported by Spotfire and they come with native integration. For example, TDV needs no specific setup before starting with Spotfire as there is a native connector. Also, as the both products have same vendor - we do not face challenges related to product support.

We have integrated Spotfire with actions on a demo basis, which provides considerable flexibility on the ability to perform detailed database updates without leaving Spotfire.

We definitely evaluated few products , but the existing range of products what we had in our organization met our business needs and real reason to adopt another Spotfire product did not arise in our case.

We have integrated it with the TIBCO Jasper report. As we need to generate a few reports that need to be put on scheduled deliveries so that people who take market decisions can have a better understanding and act accordingly. So it actually helped the organization to automate this whole process and leverage the best and faster solution.

We use Spotfire Data Science as well as Spotfire. But the integrated capabilities of Spotfire to run R data functions makes much of the capabilities of Data Science redundant. The Spotfire Data Science interface and output are not contemporary, although the power is obvious. Integration is possible but another added cost.

We mainly integrate Spotfire with our SQL servers. We have used Spotfire to use our custom data services via Spotfire calls and IronPython API. The feedback loop between data engineering and data analysis and visualization has been key to the success of Enverus. Then to quickly publish the outputs to customers has been incredible.

We did not make integration with any platform itself, all integration is done on backend using database tools. However, we did use some tools inside Spotfire to make our life easier. It wasn't so hard compared to other platforms and even with the Spotfire version update, that are quite often, we didn't have to make any major change in our code in the last 2 to 3 years.

We have not specifically purchased any other add-on products to Spotfire. With that said, we are considering looking at Spotfire X. In addition, we are thinking of using Spotfire for more data wrangling, location analytics, real-time graphics, and real-time streaming of data. Of these, I think the two most important items that will save time are making the data wrangling tasks more automated and making the real-time streaming of data actually real-time streaming of data. Accomplishing these two tasks is more difficult than what it sounds.

We have integrated Spotfire to the Spotfire Cloud. This integration has been immensely helpful, as it has allowed my organization to access our data and information anywhere in the world and when they are out in the field.

Automation services and statistics services. We strongly benefited from such integrations, since they gave us the opportunity of automating a lot of formerly manually-operated tasks, therefore reducing our operational costs and use of advanced R scripts in many reports accessed via a web player.
