Spotfire is great at customer support part. The only recommendation is, use LTS rather than MS versions for better ongoing support. This way you will have a continued quality of service from them. They are reachable and prompt, however the difference of time zone need to he addressed. There is a lot of wait time involved un-necessary.

I have not had an opportunity to interact with Spotfire support. The only forums do have a plethora of information and there is extensive documentation available, however I find a number of the errors I encounter require solutions that may not be easily available on either source due to version differences or user error.

We have, on a couple of occasions, asked about the ability to do something in Spotfire, and, in a very short period of time, he has come back to us with a solution, or, just as importantly, come back to us with an explanation of why our request will not work or cannot be done. We were facing difficulty in bulding the information link and columns every time when there is a schema change in SQL. We were later advised by the Spotfire team to create the SQL tables into stored procedures and then use them while creating IL's and columns. It helped us to save a lot of time.
