Spotfire is used across Chevron in multiple different applications. We have a Chevron Spotfire Users Day conference which highlights many of the problems currently being addressed with Spotfire. Any issue that has loads of data is using Spotfire.

We use Spotfire to blend data from various databases and data sets. It's widely used across the business, but not exclusively. It provides the ability to make correlations between various data sources, that may otherwise appear unrelated.

Spotfire is being implemented in a very broad range of uses...engineering, finance, forecasting, and dashboards. It's being used across our organization and has made a great impact on our efficiency especially in data discovery! I highly recommend Spotfire for almost all use cases.

Spotfire was deployed a year ago in my organisation as the one single tool to replace various web applications, tools, software and other stuff for data analytics and advanced visualization. We started with one part of our value chain and it is now being deployed across the entire value chain namely sales, service, engineering and also the support functions.

Spotfire is used across our entire organization. We use the software to join the many databases and other data sources we maintain in easy to use dashboards. The dashboards are customized based on the end user. This methodology ensures that all interested parties have the most up to date and accurate information without the need to open multiple software packages.

It's mainly being used by our reservoir engineers and production guys out in the field. But we are doing an in-house training next month that will go out to the organization.

It addresses cost analysis, production surveillance, data management and exploration.

We are using Spotfire accross the whole organization. We are using it in Operations, Finance, Purchase, Sales, HR and IT - it was extremely useful for visualising machine stoppages, OEE and scrap tracking. We are also making 90% of our monthly report using Spotfire. With Spotfire we found a perfect tool to give managers quick and precise overview of business processes and they can respond quickly to any new developments.

Several different reports are generated for both internal and external use. Primarily we provide our customers with analytics based on the data which has been collected by the customers using our software platform. Internally we also have executive and trend reports which can tell us about the number of users on our platform, the usage of the platform, and trends.

Spotfire is being used across the whole organization. [It is] addressing inventory, delivery material, customer satisfaction, invoicing, and AP/AR issues. We are using it in all these areas and we are working on more dashboards for more areas. As an international company for the moment we started with US and we are working on Mexico and Central America.

We are using Spotfire across our entire organization, but the primary purpose is for trouble shooting the process. Our engineering groups have linked Spotfire to the myriad of data sources used throughout our company to get a comprehensive view of the process and the various impacts different events have on the process. We have used Spotfire to clearly and definitively show performance differences between units that are creating the same product. Migrating Pareto charts for yield impacts from Excel to Spotfire was very easy, and now our Pareto charts are interacting through Spotfire.

We use Spotfire to quickly analyze large data sets. We start by combining the data from multiple public and private sources. The majority of the current business use has been for oil and gas M&A evaluations for clients. In the past, I have used it for oil and gas production engineering and well surveillance activities.

Spotfire is used for data analysis within my organisation. Mostly my department is using Spotfire. During the engineering phase, it is used to analyse the behaviour of a chip, e.g. at different temperatures or for corner lots. In the mass production phase, it is used in case of problems. In [our] daily work, we use Spotfire to provide weekly and monthly product data.

I am currently using Spotfire to analyze incident data within my organization. It helps to bring data analysis to management in a clear visual way that tells a story of how the organization is performing by being able to merge data from multiple sources into one file using common fields to form the relationship.
