Spotfire for the Energy Industry
Nothing.
Would not change our mind. The software does what we want and need it to. It is flexible enough that it improves as we advance in our data mining requirements.

Powerful, Efficient and Customizable Data Analytcs
The process was very satisfactory though, still if we have to reconsider this - it will be better to evaluate the prices across different offerings. For example, Spotfire in AWS was a good choice from price and implementation point at start, but as the size and scale went up; we were able to realize that AWS was growing costlier very soon. On-Premise implementation is costlier at start, but becomes cost effective at large scale.
In short, while considering cost; consider cost over the time rather than cost at the time.

A Strong Tool to Visualize your Data
If we had to do it all over again, we should have begun evaluating alternatives at earlier date. We waited too long to start the evaluation process even though we were paying for a software program that the entire organization was not consistently using. I also think in a perfect world we would have spent more time evaluating several alternatives, but ultimately, we are confident that we made the right decision because we are very happy with Spotfire.

Easy to use!
If we are changing the tools again, we might unify the visualization tools into one centralized corporate python package for visualization rather than invest in various data visualization tools which not only expensive but create gaps for different department to leverage the tool and share the information across the organization.

Advanced and user-friendly business intelligence software
Our decision process was mainly based on technical features: we had the opportunity to test several tools, and once we found the right one from the technical point of view, it was easy to decide. Probably at the time of the decision, we weren't even able to fully evaluate all the features, getting deep in some of them only later, in the daily usage of the tool. If there is something to be changed, probably would be the evalutation of non-technical elements, which were not fully considered at that time.

Handly Tool for Data Visualization and Analysis
Not much of a change in selection process, but yes i would also look for future compatibility and usability of the product and its acceptance globally. Reviews do matter a lot from public in general, because they help us know the on - ground first hand usability / features of the product.

Spotfire Meets Our Needs, Across the Organization
I think that if we had to do it again, I would try and involve an even broader set of people from across the organization. Additionally, I think that we would probably create some scenarios for product vendors to solve. In this evaluation we asked our vendors to take a set of our data and to create interesting dashboards with visualizations and at least one statistical model. I think that if we did it again we would probably look to more concrete scenarios.

A Spotfire (not Spitfire) Review
I really do not think that I or we as a firm would change anything. We tested a few applications very well and knew what we wanted and didn't want so when it came time for looking at Spotfire we knew we had hit the jackpot for everything we would need very early on.
