We used Trello last year for our marketing activities. It helped us organize our plan & tasks and communicate with our team.
  • Event planning
  • Tasks assigning
  • Team communication
Cons
  • Integration with other 3rd party platforms.
Trello is very easy and simple to get started. It's all web-based and it's easy to communicate with your team. However, after we moved to Hubspot it doesn't integrate with Trello, so we had to give up Trello. This is good for small organizations but I think if you are larger than 50 employees, you might want to find something more sophisticated that can have everything under one platform.

Create, drag and organize your tasks in your project.

I use Trello to have a better control and management for my business of the day. I can remember and effectively organize the problems and tasks of the company without needing to have a piece of paper in front of me all day long.
  • I adore its didactic form by which you can create and organize the tasks you need to remember. Its easy handling is what stands out because it is very intuitive.
  • It does not require many procedures or capacities in the computer because you can work it from the web without having to download extra files.
  • It is very editable and customizable in addition to being very useful for your daily tasks.
Cons
  • I do not like the function of the calendar with assignment of the task. It takes an expiration date, and if it passes to that date the task is automatically removed even if it hasn't been fulfilled.
  • When connecting the project as a group, it often limits the members due to the connection.
I strongly recommend using this incredible platform where you can solve the organization, processes, and assignment of tasks. With Trello you will not need to have your sheets or other materials on, just open it from any device with an internet connection and it will work.

Trello is used as a project management system within our organization. Since this is used as a project management system so a number of people use this on daily basis. We manage our office active projects using this tool.
It helps us managing activities easily. We are able to assign tasks to other team members using Trello.
  • Trello helps managing projects really well. It's dashboard provides a quick summary of all projects in form of Boards.
  • Trello helps managing activities for the team members. Team can be notified once an activity is assigned to them.
  • It provides a good way to see reporting on active projects.
Cons
  • I would like to see an option of managing and adding contacts into Trello. Somtime its helpful to add contact details along with project details.
  • I would like to see Trello integration with GitHub to manage project files.
Trello works well managing projects within 1 page dashboard. The best feature of Trello is the ability to Drag and Drop tasks from 1 Stage to another. Trello provides ability to add custom stages or Boards for the project. It helps understanding where a project lies at any given time. It does work well while assigning projects to team members.

We're using Trello on a project of a new feature in one of our products. We have an overview of the tasks with its status and owners on a single board and many possible changes are at a drag-and-drop action. This makes things simpler and clear, meaning more team manageability and, of course, productivity.
  • Good board overview with plenty of options for customization.
  • Easy edit with context menus and drag-and-drop actions.
Cons
  • Don't know one yet. :)
Trello is a very good tool to manage small/mid teams and their tasks. Therefore, it can also be used for personal task management. Aligned with the agile concept, this tool is kanban-like with many options that include integration with third-party apps. I guess it could be a little confusing for bigger projects with many people and complex tasks.

I use it in my sales operations role to help myself stay on top of projects, notes, meeting agendas, and reminders. I've provided access my personal Trello board to individuals with whom I collaborate with on projects so that they have insight into my day-to-day and can better understand where their project is in the pipeline.
  • Easy to use and navigate; drag and drop features are very helpful
  • Allows for easy collaboration
  • Makes keeping track of projects completed easy (very helpful for mid-year and year end reviews)
Cons
  • While it's easy to move things around, the general structure is rigid - projects are contained in columns which can make more complex projects more difficult to visualize
Trello is well suited for organizing tasks, reminders, simple projects, and meeting agendas. It can also be effectively used for project management depending on the type of visualization you need to get insight into the project's status. It does allow for checklists to be created, which makes simple projects easy to manage with Trello.
