I was sent to the site by Scale technology. They were a company I was considering. This was a place I could validate what they told me along with gathering more information and better understanding of what obstacles I might run in to. Once you have this info you can return to the vendor and figure out solutions to any problems you see.

The customer reviews were very helpful in showing me the pros and cons of different automated testing solutions. I was able to show my manager the reviews that TrustRadius provided to help justify my decisions and opinions. The verified reviewers were also helpful as they gave solid and legitimate information.

I came to the TrustRadius website from Google and landed directly on a page that was already comparing the software providers in the space. This was pretty helpful. They also presented them neatly side by side which made it easy to understand. Hearing from actual reviewers and users of the product was good too.

I really appreciate the entire package of features. The data provided in comparisons was particularly helpful.

Broad user reviews were especially helpful for me. The "star" system is also good, as it allows for a very quick look at what is even worth looking into/reading the reviews. The possibility of choosing a specific topic that interests me (for example ROI or likelihood to recommend the product) was super useful.

We wanted to understand the options that exist in the field of educational apps and platforms (since that field is changing rather fast, I was not up to speed on the current state of it). In addition, I wanted the opportunity to compare several different products I already was familiar with. The pros and cons mentioned in the reviews make it very easy to understand. Also, the feature that allows you to compare different products is simply marvelous.

How did I accomplish these goals? That is super simple, I read the reviews! I mean really, how else? :)
I found what many people wrote to be very helpful and was surprised at the depth of their answers, which was great.

What is most helpful to me is hearing users' first-hand experiences with the challenges associated with implementation. Although I have a good deal of experience using some of the software I have researched, the reviewers' new perspectives about the practical implications of using new software is a lot more valuable to me than insights regarding usability.

Reading the reviews of others helped me create a short list of programs to research. Their specific pros and cons listed were well thought, well reasoned, specific, and applicable to my situation. I found the ability to distinguish between the size of business the reviewer worked in to be very valuable. It is important to me to know what other small businesses are using.

TrustRadius gave me a clear list of companies who offer SIEM systems. By using their clear description and reviews, I was able to select the best companies. By using the compare system, I was able to see all the different companies and compare them easily. The "more information" section was also really helpful.

TrustRadius provided a very balanced independent view of each of the tools that we were considering for internal use or recommending to our clients that gave us confidence to move forward on products for our company to use or our clients to consider.

I tried to be unbiased in my recommendation, so I did not look for evidence to support any particular preference. Instead, I wrote down the objectives that were important to my company, then scored each of the vendors against those objectives.

I used the TrustRadius listings of web analytics vendors to put together a list of the top vendors that I would research. Then I used the reviews to find the pros and cons of each vendor, with respect to the objectives that mattered to my company.

I read through a number of reviews to get a better understanding of the experience of other customers using these products. I was interested in their experience with implementation and their experience with running and maintaining it once it was in.

I looked at different reviews. The open ended answers were the best as well as lists of advantages/disadvantages so I can look at them at a glance and start to see themes jump out.

The UX and organization of TrustRadius that makes it easy for me to find what I need and to ignore what I don't need. Review sites are usually an overwhelming blizzard of info, or too simplistic. At the very beginning of reviewing a category, the TrustRadius map of products is a great way to start, and I can configure it for the company size that matches mine. I usually don't need to read the context section, but I find it helpful to know it's there when I need orientation, and the hovering ToC to the left of it is great UX. The Reviews dropdown in the menu bar lets me keep track of recently viewed, and lets me set up a comparison at will. And all of this is very intuitively designed, so I don't feel like I'm getting lost.

I thought the reviews were thorough and unbiased. [After reading reviews] I would also take it a step further to use a free trial of the product before recommending it to my client.

I saw a lot of glowing reviews from organizations that were using this specific piece of software, but they seemed to mostly come from someone who was asked to give a review either from TrustRadius or from the vendor themselves. I am a skeptic, so this didn't sit well with me, but after hearing from a member of the TrustRadius team, I feel like the concern I had was not founded on facts, more suspicions.

Seeing ratings and comments from other real users was helpful. Also, after we purchased UltiPro, I used the comments on UltiPro to know what areas to target with our implementation consultant. That way we can avoid common pitfalls or be aware of weaknesses in the product before go live. Having [feedback from] people in the trenches gives a non-salesy perspective.

I pulled a comparison of the three products that seemed to be the best options for my company and used that chart in my presentation to the President and Controller. I used TrustRadius along every point of the process. When I would learn about a new product I would check TrustRadius. When I was ready to compare products, I used TrustRadius. When I made my presentations, I pulled user reviews from TrustRadius and added them to the proposal.

I had a bunch of ideas in my head along with couple other alternatives to seek feedback on; so I used TrustRadius to get a better idea of user feedback.

I also read reviews of products I already reviewed myself, to see if people share my perspective. If no one else complains about something I complain about in a product, chances are, I'm not using it well!

I've read reviews about pros and cons of each system and evaluated it against what I needed for reporting and our business. Not one system is perfect so I had to weight what is really necessary versus what is a nice to have feature in the system. Also, if it's not a perfect system, [I had to consider] what I can compromise for the features that I need.
