Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Most of the time, the resources I use are the information that software providers give us about to use the software and the possibilities to reach its best potential. But then I compare this information with the information from user reviews to understand the real possibilities the software can reach. They complement each other to give me a comprehensive understanding of the everyday work, the needs of the software, and the spectated results for my company.

There's good old Google. That usually avails sites like TrustRadius and Capterra. I also spend lots of time on the various sites of the platforms of interest. Lastly, I like to read articles written by others that compare tools. They tend to provide helpful insights as well. TrustRadius is quite complementary to my research process.

Internal discussions across teams. Discussing among community user groups that we belong to. Talking with our account managers and sales reps. The reviews give better perspective on our in-person discussions to address our concerns, questions and assumptions.

We generally use Google search to find the software and review websites like TrustRadius and G2Crowd for sorting our the choices and picking the right software that fits our business.

I looked for blogs and information published by the vendors on their website where they give an overview of what is in their software. I found that also very informative. The other area where I acquired information is from the release notes that the vendors give occasionally concerning what is new in their software.

In addition to reading reviews online I also viewed a number of YouTube videos. The videos did a better job of letting me understand the features, but the reviews allowed be to understand potential problems that I didn't even realize were issues.

TrustRadius allowed us to complement our internal evaluation matrix, which helped us a lot in the decision making of the software we had to acquire. It also allowed us to clarify doubts and make clearer inquiries with the seller. Reviewing the reviews allowed us to discard and select a software group before doing the internal evaluation, then we compared with what was evaluated in TrustRadius and we made the decision.

TrustRadius stands out because the comments are written by professionals and reviewed by professionals before they are published on the site. Other sites return business results for business convenience.
The results in TrustRadius are 100% useful and accurate. I recommend my colleagues to use TrustRadius, they will save time, effort and corporate money.

I also used other review sites as suggested by Google and read a couple of blogs on the two particular CMS products I managed to narrow my list down to. When used in conjunction with TrustRadius reviews you are able to get a more complete picture of the products in question.

I consult industry reviews, analyst reviews from firms like Deloitte or Gartner, and hold meetings with existing customers of the vendor. The TrustRadius reviews help inform me on areas to probe for additional information.

I used multiple sites from Google to research and evaluate the product. The reviews were okay but they were a bit scattered which made go from site to site to find decent reviews of great quality. On TrustRadius, I was able to review the product in one place and I felt safe because the reviews varied based on how the client needed to use it and the clients gave great details.

I, of course, start with googling and then reading different blogs about the topic and products. Also in this process I am asking around colleagues etc. for what they think. Based on the combination of these two I narrow down to get reviews from YouTube or sites like TrustRadius.

Web searches and other comparisons were used but reviews are always better to start with, especially if I do not have enough of an idea about and information on the solution being evaluated. Using the Categories and then drilling down on a particular product is also helpful. Then I compare those at the top of my list first before I move to add other products.
