The most recent was the purchase of monday.com for my small business. There were 3 other people involved in the purchase decision as I wanted my team to be confident and certain of such a change. They were involved in the whole process from the very beginning as we all were assigned a couple of options to analyze and present to the rest of the team before making a final decision. It took us around 3 months in total to make a final decision.

Recently, we got more than 1 product license to be used. Other than SAP Integration Suite, we later went ahead and purchased Mulesoft and APIGEE for different use cases and to keep the landscape clean for better performance. The team size included, IT, Biz and advisory team. With POC, we were able to finalize in a month.

We were looking to set up an in house call center to field the number of calls our businesses were receiving. We wanted to go remote with call center agents and needed a software that would allow us to have visibility into what they were doing from anywhere. We had 3 people working toward finding a solution and spent about a month reviewing software options and another demoing them before making a decision.

We wanted to implement a password manager enterprise wide. First of all because it makes it easier for users to handle complex passwords using a single master password. Second because during an internal pentest the ethical hackers were surprised to find no password in the browser during a PoC. Of course further pentesting could access the LastPass vault when social engineering the users, but the initial hurdle was a good security incentive.

While looking for a solution to help us translate our website into different languages for different locales we were considering a number of tools amongst which Transifex was included. A team of 5 was tasked with evaluating the practical aspects of the tool and 2 others who would compare the cost of each tool. It took about a month to be able to test all options out and decide to go with Transifex.

Large satellite development program with a complex design and lots of requirements. Project included more than 150 people. It took about 3 to 5 months to research and purchase the product. Product was required to manage a large number of requirements at different levels of abstraction.

We're looking for an ERP system for multiple businesses across three business segments. We evaluated the existing systems used by some of the companies as well as the widely available options on the market. Our corporate IT team made the ultimate decision but sought the feedback of key stakeholders throughout the individual business units.

I used TrustRadius to evaluate choices for CRM and event management software. While not the primary decision maker, I was consulted by the primary (Senior Dir. of Dev.) and relevant staff given my own relevant experience choosing these software(s) at other companies for which I have worked. We ultimately chose Raiser's Edge NXT for the CRM and are still evaluating choices for the event management.

Switching to more automated accounting software. We have also been needing software that is based in the cloud especially since we are mostly remote now. We were able to use TrustRadius for reviews to see first-hand experience with the product. This definitely helped us narrow down what product we wanted to go with.

As part of the technical product marketing management function at Hdiv, we want to find the most interesting ways to communicate and share our stories. This includes classic media like blog posts, whitepapers, social media, etc., but we are also very active in podcasting and interactive sessions. In this context, we were looking for a modern tool to record and prepare interactive video sessions with all participants in remote mode.

We were looking to a loan management system to avoid having arrears which were eating into our departments revenue. We searched some software and we found ABLE monitor, Floify and Loansifter. After reading their reviews on TrustRadius, we opted for ABLE monitor. It took us about a month to make this decision.

We needed something to integrate AP/AR Management with the accounting software we are using. Need to speed up the invoice processing and approval process and it is just what we needed and more! 3 of us were involved in making this decision. Our CFO, our AP Manager and I, the AR Manager. It took us about 6 months to know more about this program and shop around, but we eventually decided to get it since it is the best fit for our budget.

During the purchase of video editing software purchase for the organization, there was [an] urgency for the company to create [a] basic level promotional video, but at that time, we didn't [have] a professional video editor. So our team decided to create and edit the video on our own, so we [did] research for video editing software [that] is compatible [with] entry-level editing skills on TrustRadius. We found some of the software with advanced features, but our team selected software compatible [with] our team and made a purchase decision for our company.

We have ongoing needs for a PDF editor that will do what the teams need:
1. Signing PDF documents.
2. Adding comments.
3. Insert/extract pages.
The business need was to have a not very expensive tool but at the same time a trustable solution that will cover all our requirements.

We recently purchased Smartsheet. There are 4 Project Managers that require a construction schedule worksheet. I determined through several weeks of research that Smartsheet was a better product than Project. We tried the trial revision of both for a few weeks and we felt that it was easier to access Smartsheet. Using TrustRadius allows us to read comments from users and make a determination of which we want to trial.

We wanted a SAST tool to evaluate and eliminate the security threats that might or might not be present in our products. We are determined to make our products secure. We did not have any SAST tool so this process consisted of a team of 10 so that we evaluate what is out there and make the right decision that is good for the company. It was detailed research and evaluation of a bunch of SAST tools. It took roughly about 3 to 6 months.

Our organization was in desperate need of project tracking software for interdepartmental communication. The development team was out of sync with marketing and business development. Three people were involved in the project. We took three weeks to make our final decision.

My most recent buying project was working with our marketing team to implement a new ppm tool. There were 6 of us involved to various degrees and the research process took about 6-7 months in order to start the purchasing and implementation process which took another 7-8 months. We needed it to replace unsupported older technology.

We were looking to update our Quickbooks software to allow for more users to be able to work with the database. Given the age of our old version, we were unable to purchase a new user license. A team of three of us evaluated our software options to figure out how to upgrade. This project took about 3 months.

We needed to orchestrate our services running on AWS EC2 instances. As our service catered to more users, we had to scale up, and it was becoming tedious to make changes and apply them on every individual EC2 instance. So we evaluated solutions where we made changes once and applied them on all the EC2 instances with a single click of a button. Solutions were evaluated by a team of four people, and it took around three weeks to decide on them.

AWS Dynamo DB was purchased to store regular weblogs data. This was required for a new product to cater to the requirement of generating reports on top of client usage data. Close to 100 people were involved in the project. We researched for about 15-20 days and had to make a quick call given working in an agile setup and tight timelines to deliver the final product and output.
