Likelihood to Recommend

I would recommend TrustRadius for Vendors for teams both large and small, as well as companies with a number of different offerings or a single offering. That being said, I think it would be easier to operationalize and utilize more features with a smaller-medium sized team and a few number of products. If you have a larger number of offerings, you would most likely need to select 1-2 to focus on initially unless you had a large amount of resources to put towards the effort at once.

It is great for any business looking to get great data from their customers that they can put into good use. If you don't plan on doing anything with these reviews (use it for content, pages, product improvements or sales playbooks) then it might be not worth the investment but these reviews collect such valuable data from your customers that we saw the worth of the service instantly.

In a low-touch, high-volume product offering, it could potentially take the place of 1:1 references and enable an inside sales team with content. In a situation like that, I could see 85% of the research being done before the vendor is even involved, and TR would make a huge difference. In a high-touch sales cycle that requires a custom demo and business case and multiple stakeholders, TrustRadius is one of many inputs.

TrustRadius is extremely simple to use and easy for both our sales and marketings teams to leverage and share with customers. It's also great for showcasing the real usage of a product, and engendering trust with potential customers, proving that what the aforementioned sales and marketing teams say is in fact true.

TrustRadius is great if you're looking for a partner to help elevate your brand awareness and provide social proof for use in a longer, enterprise sales cycle. If you're just in it for lead gen opportunities, you may have better luck with higher-SEO sites.

Overall, I enjoy working with TrustRadius, as their vendor offerings continue to improve each year. If you are looking to take control of your company profile and presence on external sites, where your prospects are going to search for objective customer feedback, making the investment with TrustRadius can definitely pay off. From a corporate communications, marketing, and sales perspective, maintaining a profile and keeping your product offerings up to date can only be a positive. There's also the capability to gain insights into the companies that are viewing your company profile, so you can arm your sales team with information on companies that might be in the market for your solution.

TrustRadius is disrupting the business-to-business software purchasing space, and though it's not the definitive website or resource for providing solid b2b software insight and information, it is gaining in importance. The best situation is for medium software companies who sell direct and have direct access to, and continuous active contact with customers.

The ability to filter the view as a buyer is great as each persona is slightly different and the successes and challenges they face with their existing products may differ. The reviews are genuine and ask the appropriate questions to provide buyers with the right level of detail in a well laid out view (doesn't require a lot of clicks for the end user).

Vendor offerings are great for companies seeking to build credibility with first-time site visitors or prospects seeking to solve problems that we've solved for other clients. Utilizing TrustRadius's ability to reach out to customers at scale is incredibly helpful for companies with small marketing teams. TrustRadius may not be best suited for companies with mature customer success/marketing teams who have an internal mechanism to generate up-to-date reviews at scale.

-- If you're a SaaS B2B offering and you have lots of known users, then TrustRadius would be a very good solution for you.
-- If you have trouble identifying happy users, then you will struggle to get value out of the TrustRadius service

TrustRadius is Yelp for software buyers and that is a fact. Before making a decision to purchase a software product, one should consult with TrustRadius due to its honest reviews and sophisticated information. Customers know this and vendors do as well. There is so much value working with TrustRadius and if customer satisfaction is at the heart of your business, then incorporating what people have to say about your company in marketing materials or even sharing it internally to Sales, makes you one step ahead of the game.

We share the TrustRadius reviews with our sales teams, our prospects and our customers to validate our purpose, spread awareness and build our reputation in the market. We also look at the more negative reviews to see what problems we need to solve.

I believe that TrustRadius vendor offerings are a great fit for any company that wants to grow their review base and get educated on how the review process works. Not all of the additional options will be a good fit for each company (i.e. widget, report, etc.), and I hope TrustRadius will offer those "add-ons" a-la-carte, not necessarily bundled into one program.
