What is QuickBooks Time?
QuickBooks Time (formerly TSheets) is a cloud-based time tracking and scheduling app that allows employees to clock in and out from the job site with the devices they’ve already got in their pockets. The vendor aims to help companies replace paper timesheets with accurate, electronic time data as well as make payroll and invoicing faster and less costly.
QuickBooks Time also accurately tracks time and GPS points (even without cell or internet service) then automatically syncs when back in service, making it a better (and cheaper) alternative to geofencing.
The Who’s Working” feature enables companies to see where employees are located and who’s working on what in real time. QuickBooks Time also features in-app scheduling that allows users to drag and drop shifts, assign jobs, see who’s working at a glance, and send alerts to managers if employees haven’t clocked in for a job or shift as scheduled.

We use Tsheets as our timekeeping system and love it! We were able to address lunch, breaks, and PTO in simple easy to use buttons that have made clocking in and out a breeze.
- Allows user to clock in and out using cell device or computer.
- Not too hard to learn how to make it do what I need.
- Great reports! Easy to follow for payroll submissions.
- Enrollment of a new EE can be a little tricky at times.

All of our employees who work in the field use tsheets to see what job they should be at and for how long and when the job is expected to be done. I use it to keep track of who is on what job for how long. I also make appointments for our estimators and put them in TSheets so they don't miss meetings.
- Most of the people on our team aren't very tech savvy but tsheets is easy for them to figure out.
- Notifications are great. I don't have to remind anyone to clock in or out.
- The staff is very helpful. Jen D. helped me get everything working perfectly!
- More information fields in the jobs or availability for more advanced tracking fields.

Abilaire utilizes TSheets for time tracking against projects for internal employees, seasonal employees, part-time employee, and contractors. We were looking for a system that integrated with our invoicing and project management systems and tools.
- Their customer service is second to none. Each time we have had a question from onboarding to simple administration or technical issues we have caused our self they are responsive, swift and easy to work with. Especially Brad BD1.
- I would appreciate an integration with an electronic performance support tool that guides you through the different functions.

Our construction crew uses TSheets to log in to our construction sites. It allows them to log into jobs on remote sites that do not have cell service and to track the job tasks specific to that job. This is critically important to syncing to the appropriate QB project and for the further integration with UDA Construction Suite. Our admin staff also logs in to TSheets.
- Integration with QuickBooks is smooth.
- Flexibility to customize tasks for specific customers/jobs.
- General ease-of-use for even the most basic computer & cell phone user.
- Great, responsive staff like Amanda who seems to enjoy helping out TSheets customers.
- Would be nice if we could sync TSheets and QuickBooks from any computer in our office intranet.
- Would be nice if the iPhone/iPad app had a little more in the way of administrative functions for field managers.

A fantastic, easy to use product for myself and my clients
I currently use TSheets at my practice and I recommend it to clients in order to utilize it's time tracking features. I love that is has the ability to track employee GPS out in field, and that it can be done from their smartphone app. I also use QuickBooks Online accountant edition to run payroll and I like how seamlessly it all integrates together.

- Their customer service is out of this world. They always are available to speak through live chat and stay with you until the problem is resolved. They are consistently friendly and patient.
- Usability. The platform is intuitive and very easy to use.
- One of their functions is still having the kinks worked out, but the customer service and troubleshooting more than make up for it.

Our intention is to use TSheets to keep track of our hourly subcontractor crews and to provide a way for them to properly bill us in a consistent fashion.
- We have used time-sheet apps for a long time. They were not cloud-based and thus data would need to be exported manually to a central utility. TSheets central server model greatly reduces some of the time required as well as the opportunities for error.
- The time-sheet apps we have used geo-located at clock-in and clock-out. TSheets tracks the whole time a member is clocked-in. This provides much added comfort in knowing what happens between clock-in and clock-out.
- When a "manager" (subcontractor) clocks in an entire crew, he can enter a note discussing what they will be doing. At the end of the day, when he clocks them out, it would be great if he could also update the global note with what the crew actually ended up doing.
- In our case, the subcontractor may work at more than one job during a given week and thus we would like the subcontractor to be able to generate a report showing how much they are billing us for each job and what is the total for all jobs for the week.

I use tsheets practically every day. I mange multiple clients, all of which I switch over to tsheets in order to track the time for both their salaried and hourly employees. On a weekly basis that time is submitted, and I am then able to go in and approve that time, clearing and prepping it for my favorite feature, the export to Gusto. I use Gusto for payroll purposes, as well as QuickBooks Online accountant for my client management. I like that they have an integration (though I wish it had more features) with Gusto that allows me to send time directly there through TSheets. Also, I cannot forget to mention their support, which is superb! Seriously. I truly believe that they care and whenever I have a problem I actually enjoy calling or chatting in. They're very lively and fun to interact with! Recently I had the pleasure of working with Max H on live chat, one of the best chatting experiences with an SAAS company I've ever had.
- Simplicity - the software is easy to use and intuitive
- Support - obviously, fantastic support - Thank you Max H
- Integration with my Gusto and QBOA
- More reporting options for admins on the TSheets front
- A desktop application, a client of tsheets that is also cloud based with more functionality than the web based platform
- Better overall design. I feel like it could benefit from some material design updates, but it's also so feature packed I hardly notice.

Our lawn business utilizes TSheets and Tsheets Kiosk to aid in time-tracking for our employees. It has streamline the process of tracking and approving payroll hours each week.
- Customer service is the best around. Kelsey has been especially helpful.
- The product is user-friendly.
- The price is a good value considering the time it saves.
- The only issue I've had to date is that the Kiosk app on our iPad tends to freeze up. However, that may be a connection or hardware issue rather than a Tsheets issue.

We use TSheets to track our company timesheets. We use this for our field service techs and our home office admin staff. We were able to better understand our billing, keep track of our field service techs through GPS timestamps, and allocate the correct billings to customers into our QuickBooks Online software.
- TSheets have the most amazing customer support staff. I have called more than 3 times already, and they have always helped me quickly. Sarah was extremely helpful and brought me directly to what I needed. Integrating softwares is always a bit tiresome, so the support staff at TSheets really helped.
- TSheets has the most amazing mobile application. It makes it really easy to keep time and deliver that information to the head office.
- I love the integrations to QuickBooks. This was a must for me, and it works seamlessly.
- The UI is not my favorite for the web-based application. It has these windows that look like a desktop computer which is nice if you need multiple widgets open at the same time, but it really gets confusing to me.
- I wish that they had an application for OSX Mac, and windows. That would be awesome.
- I have a ton of temp employees that sometimes only a few shifts, and turnover, and I don't bring them onto TSheets because of the cost. Perhaps this could be addressed with another pricing option?

TSheets is used by our mitigation employees and it is a great program. It eliminates manual entry of time sheets and syncs directly with quick books for a seamless integration with our job management system. TSheets helps us eliminate errors in job costing, provides accurate time records and greatly reduces the amount of time spent on time sheets. The program is easy to use, our employees love it! The customer service is incredible as well! There is a live chat feature with amazing representatives like Elaina who was patient and understanding as she helped me resolve an issue earlier today. I highly recommend TSheets!

I work for a small school accounting department. I use tsheets to manage and access both salaried and hourly employees payroll. I am mainly in charge or assessing their timecards at the end of the pay period, approving, and then processing a portion of payroll for those I oversee.

TSheets is used by all our employees from field staff to the corporate office. It is the best way for our staff in the field to enter their time from their phones with ease. Many times our people are in remote locations, working on a pipeline for example, and have no contact with any sort of office to submit paper or even electronic time sheets. TSheets is the perfect answer for us.

We love TSheets at our company for accurate time tracking, supporting our billing and highly recommend the product regularly to clients. Our criteria for referrals on business proficiency applications includes the expectation of outstanding support... the support group at TSheets is the best. I just was helped by Elaina M., she was right on!
- I was getting regular notices regarding a client's TSheets subscription; Elaina M helped me change these notification to the client
- We needed help resolving an error, the support team fixed the problem within 20 min.
- What could be improved...we are big users of QuickBooks-we would appreciate the addition of more dash board statics

We are using TSheets with our construction teams in Texas as an initial rollout/test market. It allows for real-time management of our crews and the project costs along with allowing us to see crew utilization across the pay periods.
- Ease of use - Construction guys aren't the most patient, so being able to easily log in, see where they need to click and move on, is a win.
- Setup and getting started is super easy.
- Adding, changing things, tweaking as needed/learning is super easy.
- The patience with my endless supply of questions has been great! BD1 put up with a constant barrage this morning from me and took each one in stride. While he wasn't able to say "yes, here's how..." to all of my questions, even his "unfortunately..." answers were helpful and clear in terms of what other options I could try. Good customer service is hard to find these days, but you guys hit it out of the park. Well played Brad!
- We're seeing gaps in the functionality with "fluid" organizational needs Meaning, we have employees that rotate between different crews, which then means that we need them to have multiple Management groups for alerts (specific example). The ability to only assign 1 Management Group means adding additional people to the Management Group to cover everyone, which in turn means we have management getting alerts that they may not need. And we all know what happens then... managers start to ignore the alerts because they don't take the time to see which ones do pertain to them and which ones don't.
- When I click to see Manager Edits and I select a particular employee and the date of the edits, it would be much cleaner to only see the edits by the Manager, and only for that day. Currently, when you go into Manager Edits and pick the employee and the day, I see not only the history of what the employee entered, but also the manager edits. I already know what the employee did... that's why the Manager edited it in the first place. So, "Manager Edits", by definition would be more efficient if it were truly only showing Manager Edits.
- The reporting downloads into Excel would be greatly improved if I could pick what fields I want reported. For example, I'm sure that TZ is helpful to some employers and payroll reporting, however, we didn't even know what that code meant! And, now that we do... it's still not something that is helpful! :) However, each week, I get the privilege of deleting that column (among others) that we do not need. Just seems that if If could pre-select what my payroll report is pulling it would be a much more user friendly process. Same challenge applies with any of the exportable reports.

TSheets will be used to track specific jobs and construction equipment. As well as tracking employee times and using the "integrated to QuickBooks" feature to improve our efficiency with invoicing our clients as well as payroll.
- The first one is the Reports features, which assist us with knowing specific details on particular jobs, locations and/or time.
- Scheduling feature that allows us to properly mandate a structured time for our employees to follow.
- The ability to create and assign tasks is a plus!!! This gives us the opportunity to bill properly for each of our machines.

Its about TIME that I started using TSheets!
TSheets is AWESOME! We are using it for our company to manage their time. Previously we were unsure if an employee actually worked the amount of time stated or clocked in and out for lunch. I am also helping out my clients by introducing them to TSheets as well to solve some of their issues including utilizing the GPS tracker so that they can see where the employees are when they are clocking in.

- Customer Support - I just chatted with Shannon and she was able to help me adjust a setting. All the support team seems to be knowledgeable, energetic, helpful and very nice! It is like the Southwest Airlines version of Time Tracking! :)
- Make the scheduling so it just recurs until you change it instead of just a year out.
